Title:- Messiah Would be Arrested, Tried, Executed & Rise to Glory
As for the great festival of Passover, it was when Jewish families remembered the occasion they were saved from the Angel of death by the blood of a sacrificed lamb, and given liberation from their slavery in a foreign land (Exodus Chapter 12). It was at the celebration of Passover that Yeshu knew that he would be handed over to the Jewish sangha (dge ‘dun), because it was foretold in the scripture. And he understood that no person other than he himself was pure enough to die for the sins of mankind; it was only with his “own precious blood like that of a lamb without blemish or spot” (1 Peter 1:19) that the Way of Salvation could be opened.
