ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (3) – Isaiah (3)

1  ད་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་དང་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ནས་མི་མང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བློ་བཅོལ་བའི་ཐམས་ཅད་དང།  ཁོང་གིས་དེ་ཚོའི་ཁ་ཟས་དང་ཆུ་དང།

For behold, the Lord God of hosts is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah support and supply, all support of bread, and all support of water;

2  དེ་ཚོའི་དཔའ་བོ་དང། དམག་མི་ཚོ་དང།  ཁྲིམས་དཔོན་དང། ལུང་སྟོན་པ་དང།  མངོན་ཤེས་མཁན་དང།  སྲིད་བྱུས་མཁས་པ་ཚོ་དང།

the mighty man and the soldier, the judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder,

3  དེ་ཚོའི་དཔུང་དམག་དང། ཞི་བའི་འགོ་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་སྲིད་དོན་པ་དང། ངན་སྔགས་ཀྱི་གནས་སྟངས་དབང་སྒྱུར་མཁན་ཚང་མ་བསྣམ་གྱི་རེད།

the captain of fifty and the man of rank, the counselor and the skillful magician and the expert in charms.

4  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  མི་མང་རྣམས་ལ་ལོ་ཚོད་མ་ལོན་པའི་བུ་ཚོས་ཁོ་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ཏུ་སྲིད་སྐྱོངས་བྱེད་དུ་འཇུག་པར་འགྱུར།

And I will make boys their princes, and infants shall rule over them.

5  ཚང་མས་གཅིག་གིས་གཅིག་ནས་མཁེ་ཕན་ལེན་པ་དང།  མི་མང་ལོ་ཆུང་ཚོས་རྒན་པར་གུས་ཞབས་མི་བྱེད་པ་དང་མི་མང་ཕན་མེད་མི་རབས་ཚོས་གོང་མ་རྣམས་ལ་གུས་ཞབས་མི་བྱེད་དོ།

And the people will oppress one another, everyone his fellow and everyone his neighbor; the youth will be insolent to the elder, and the despised to the honorable.

6  རིགས་རུས་ཞིག་གི་འཐུས་མི་ཚོས་དེ་ཚོའི་འཐུས་མི་གཅིག་ལ་འདམས་ནས།  ཁྱོད་ལ་གོན་རྒྱུའི་གོས་ཤིག་ཡོད་སྟབས་ང་ཚོའི་དཀའ་ངལ་གྱི་དུས་སྐབས་འདིར་ང་ཚོའི་འགོ་འཛིན་བྱེད་རོགས་ཤེས་ཞུ་བའི་དུས་སྐབས་ཤིག་ཡོང་ངོ།

For a man will take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying: “You have a cloak; you shall be our leader, and this heap of ruins shall be under your rule”;

7  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁོས་ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་རོགས་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ།  ང་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་དང་གོས་ཀྱང་མེད།  ང་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་འགོ་འཛིན་དུ་མ་བསྐོ་རོགས་ཤེས་ལན་འདེབས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

in that day he will speak out, saying: “I will not be a healer; in my house there is neither bread nor cloak; you shall not make me leader of the people.”

8  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་འཇིགས་པ་དང་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་འགྱེལ་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དེ་ཚོས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་བྱ་དཔྱོད་གཉིས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱབ་འགལ་ཡིན་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོས་མངོན་གསལ་དོད་པོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམའ་འབེབས་ཞུས་སོ།

For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and their deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence

9  དེ་ཚོའི་འཁོན་སེམས་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཚོ་རང་ཉིད་ལ་རྒྱབ་རྒལ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར།  དེ་ཚོས་སོ་དྷོམ་མི་མང་བཞིན་མངོན་གསལ་དོད་པོས་སྡིག་པ་གྱིས་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོ་འཇིགས་པ་ནི་དེ་ཚོ་རང་གི་ལག་པའི་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ།

For the look on their faces bears witness against them; they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves.

10  མི་དྲང་བདེན་རྣམས་དགའ་བའི་ངང་ལ་གནས་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོ་ལ་བྱ་བ་ལམ་འགྲོ་ཡོང་བ་དང།  དེ་ཚོས་གྱིས་པའི་འབྲས་བུར་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཐུབ་བོ།

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

11  འོན་ཀྱང་མི་ངན་པ་རྣམས་འཇིགས་པ་དང་།  དེ་ཚོས་གཞན་ལ་ཇི་ལྟར་གྱིས་པ་དེ་ལྟར་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ཡོང་བར་འགྱུར།

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

12  དངུལ་གཡར་མཁན་གྱིས་ངའི་མི་མང་ལ་མནར་གཅོད་བཏང་ཡོད་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་བུན་བདག་ཚོས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་བཏང་ཡོད་དོ།  ཀྱེ་ངའི་མི་མང་ཚོ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་འགོ་དཔོན་ཚོས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ལམ་ལོག་པར་འཁྲིད་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་གང་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་པ་མི་ཤེས་སོ༎

My people—infants are their oppressors and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up the course of your paths.

13  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་རང་གི་ཁ་མཆུ་གནང་རྒྱུར་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་ཡོད་པ་དང། ཁོང་གི་རང་གི་མི་མང་ལ་ཁྲིམས་དཔྱོད་གཏོང་གནང་རྒྱུར་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་ཡོད་དོ།

The Lord has taken his place to contend; he stands to judge peoples.

14  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་རྒན་པོ་ཚོ་དང་མི་མང་གི་འགོ་འཛིན་ཚོར་ཁྲིམས་གཏོང་གནང་བར་འཁྲིད་ཕེབས་ཏེ།  ཁོང་གིས་སྐྱོན་བརྗོད་འདི་ལྟར་གནང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རྒུན་ཚལ་བཅོ་ཡོད་པ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཁྱིམ་ནང་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དབུལ་པོ་ཚོའི་ས་ནས་འཕྲོག་པའི་རྒྱུ་ནོར་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁེངས་འདུག་གོ།

The Lord will enter into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: “It is you who have devoured the vineyard, the spoil of the poor are in your houses.

15  ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ངའི་མི་མང་རྣམས་ལ་གཉའ་གནོན་གཏོང་བའི་དབང་ཆ་མེད་པ་དང།  དབུལ་པོ་རྣམས་ནས་མཁེ་ཕན་ལེན་པའི་དབང་ཆ་ཡང་མེད།  ང་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གཅོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སོ༎

What do you mean by crushing my people, by grinding the face of the poor?” declares the Lord God of hosts.

16  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བ།  ལྟོས་དང་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་གྱི་བུད་མེད་ཚོ་གཏམ་འདོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཇི་ལྟར་འདུག  དེ་ཚོའི་གདོང་གྱེན་དུ་བསྟན་ནས་འགྲོ་བ་དང།  དེ་ཚོ་རྟག་ཏུ་ཁྲུལ་བཤད་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོས་གོམ་པ་དལ་པར་སྤོ་བ་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་རྐང་པའི་ཚིགས་ལ་སྒྲོག་གདུབ་གྱོན་པ་དེས་སིར་སིར་ཚིང་ཚིང་ཞེས་སྒྲ་འདོན་ནོ།

The Lord said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes, mincing along as they go, tinkling with their feet,

17  འོན་ཀྱང་ངས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ཆད་པ་གཏོང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་ནོ།  ངས་དེ་ཚོའི་མགོ་བོའི་སྐྲ་གཞར་ནས་མགོ་རིལ་བཟོ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སོ།

therefore the Lord will strike with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will lay bare their secret parts.

18  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས། ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་གྱི་བུད་མེད་ཚོ་ནས་དེ་ཚོས་གཏམ་འདོད་བྱེད་པའི་རྐང་པའི་ཚིག་དང་མགོ་དང་རྐེ་ལ་གྱོན་པའི་རྒྱན་ཆ་དང།

In that day the Lord will take away the finery of the anklets, the headbands, and the crescents;

19  དེ་ཚོའི་ལག་ངར་ལ་གྱོན་པའི་རྒྱན་ཆ་བཅས་བཞེས་པའི་ཉིན་ཞིག་ཡོང་བ་ཡོད། ཁོང་གིས་དེ་ཚོའི་གདོང་ཁེབས་དང།

the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves;

20  ཞ་མོ་དང་ངན་སྔགས་ཀྱི་སྲུང་བ་ལག་ངར་རྐད་པར་གྱོན་པ་དང།

the headdresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets;

21  མཛུབ་མོར་གྱོན་པའི་སོར་གདུབ་དང་སྣ་ལ་གྱོན་པའི་སྣ་ལོང་དང།

the signet rings and nose rings;

22  ན་བཟའ་སྤུས་ལེགས་དང་ཟླ་གམ་དང་ཕྱུ་པ་དང་དངུལ་ཁུག་དང།

the festal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags;

23  དེ་ཚོའི་དྭངས་གསལ་གོས་དང་ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་ཨ་ཅོ་དང་མགོ་ལ་གྱོན་པའི་ཁ་དཀྲིས་དང་མགོ་ལ་གྱོན་པའི་ཁེབས་རིང་པོ་བཅས་བཞེས་པར་བྱའོ།

the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils.

24  དྲི་ཞིམ་བེད་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་པའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་དྲི་ངན་བྲོ་བ་དང་རྐེ་རག་སྤུས་ལེགས་ཀྱི་ཚབ་ཏུ་དེ་ཚོས་ཐག་པ་རྩུབ་པོ་གྱོན་པ་དང།  སྐྲ་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་དེ་ཚོ་མགོ་རིལ་དུ་འགྱུར་བ་དང་གྱོན་གོས་ལེགས་པའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་དེ་ཚོས་རྩ་རས་གྱོན་པ་དང་དེ་ཚོས་མདོག་མཛེས་པོ་དེ་ངོ་ཚ་བའི་རྒྱུ་རུ་འགྱུར་རོ།

Instead of perfume there will be rottenness; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.

25  གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་ཁྱོ་རྣམས་སྟོབས་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཚོ་ཡང་དམག་ཏུ་གསོད་པར་བྱའོ།

Your men shall fall by the sword and your mighty men in battle.

26  གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་ཚོ་མྱ་ངན་བྱ་ཞིང་ངུ་བ་དང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནི་བུད་མེད་ཐང་དུ་དམར་ཧྲང་དུ་སྡོད་པ་དང་འདྲའོ༎

And her gates shall lament and mourn; empty, she shall sit on the ground.

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (2) – Isaiah (2)

1  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཨ་མོཛའི་བུ་ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ་ལ་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་དང་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་གྱི་སྐོར་ལ་འཕྲིན་འདི་དག་གནང་ངོ།

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2  མ་འོང་དུས་སུ་།  མཆོད་ཁང་ཡོད་པའི་རི་བོ་དེ་ནི་ཚང་མ་ལས་ནི་མཐོ་བར་འགྱུར།  དེ་ནི་རི་བོ་ཡོངས་ལས་མཐོ་བར་འགྱུར།  མི་རིགས་མང་པོ་དེ་ཡི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་ཡོང།

It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the highest of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and all the nations shall flow to it,

3  དེར་མི་མང་རྣམས་ནས་འདི་ལྟར་སྨྲས།  ང་ཚོ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་རི་བོར་རྒལ་ནས།  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་དཀོན་མཆོག་མཆོད་ཁང་ནང་དུ་འགྲོ།  ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོར་བྱེད་དགོས་ལམ་སྟོན་གནང།  ཁོང་གིས་བསྟན་པའི་ལམ་དུ་ངེད་འགྲོའོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི། སློབ་སྟོན་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ཡོང།  ཛི་ཡོན་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་མི་མང་ལ་ནི་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ།

and many peoples shall come, and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths.” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

4  ཁོང་གིས་མི་རིགས་སྟོབས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཁྲོད་འཁོན་འཁྲུགས་ཞི་སྒྲིགས་གཙང་མ་གནང།  དེ་ཚོས་རང་གི་རལ་གྲི་རྣམས་རྡུང་ནས་ཐོང་གཤོལ་བཟོ་བར་བྱ།  མདུང་རྣམས་རྡུང་ནས་ཟོར་བ་བཟོ་བར་བྱ། མི་རིགས་ཡོངས་ནས་དམག་འཁྲུགས་མི་བྱེད་པར།  དམག་གི་ཆེད་དུ་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་མི་བྱེད་དོ།

He shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

5  ད་ལྟ་ཡ་ཀོབ་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས།  ང་ཚོར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གནང་བའི་འོད་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་གོམ་པ་སྤོ་བར་བྱ༎

O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.

6  ཀྱེ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་མི་མང་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་སྤངས་བར་མཛད་ཡོད།  ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ནས་དང་ཕེ་ལེ་ཤེད་ནས་ངན་སྔགས་ལག་ལེན་གྱིས་ཡུལ་འདི་ཁེངས་འདུག  མི་མང་རྣམས་ནས་ཕྱི་རྒྱལ་བའི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་གྱི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲངས་བཞིན་འདུག

For you have rejected your people, the house of Jacob, because they are full of things from the east and of fortune-tellers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.

7  དེ་ཚོའི་ཡུལ་ནི་གསེར་དངུལ་གྱི་ཁེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་ནོར་རྣམས་མཐའ་མེད་དོ། དེ་ཚོའི་ཡུལ་ནི་རྟས་ཁེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང།  ཤིང་རྟ་འཁོར་ལོའི་གྲངས་མེད་དོ།

Their land is filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to their treasures; their land is filled with horses, and there is no end to their chariots.

8  དེ་ཚོའི་ཡུལ་ནི་སྐུ་འདྲས་ཁེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོས་རང་གི་ལག་པས་བཟོས་པའི་དངོས་པོར་མཆོད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་དོ།

Their land is filled with idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their own fingers have made.

9  ཚང་མ་སྣང་ཆུང་དང་དམའ་འབེབས་བྱུང་ངེས་ཡོད།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་བཟོད་གསོལ་མ་གནང་བར་མཛོད།

So man is humbled, and each one is brought low— do not forgive them!

10  དེ་ཚོ་བྲག་རིའི་ནང་ཡིབ་པ་དང་ས་ལ་ཨི་ཁུང་བྲུས་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་ལས་ཐར་ཐབས་དང་ཁོང་གི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་ལས་ཡིབ་ཐབས་བྱེད་དོ།

Enter into the rock and hide in the dust from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty.

11  འགྲོ་བ་མིའི་སྤོབ་པ་རྫོགས་ནས་ང་རྒྱལ་འཛིགས་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཉི་མ་ཞིག་ཡོང་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དེ་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཅིག་པུ་ལ་བསྟོད་པར་འགྱུར།

The haughty looks of man shall be brought low, and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled, and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

12  ཉིན་དེར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱིས།  སྟོབས་ཤུགས་ཅན་དང་ང་རྒྱལ་ཅན་དང་སྤོབ་པ་ཅན་རྣམས་ལ་ཉམས་ཆུང་བཟོས་པར་འགྱུར།

For the Lord of hosts has a day against all that is proud and lofty,against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;

13  ཁོང་གིས་ལེ་བ་ནོན་གྱི་འགྱམ་ཤིང་རིང་པོ་དང་བྷ་ཤཱན་ཡུལ་གྱི་བེ་ཤིང་རྣམས་མེད་པར་མཛད་དོ།

against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up;and against all the oaks of Bashan;

14  ཁོང་གིས་རི་མཐོ་པོ་དང་རི་ཕྲན་རྣམས་སྙོམ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

against all the lofty mountains, and against all the uplifted hills;

15  གན་དྷོ་ལ་མཐོ་པོ་དང་མཁར་བཙན་པོ་ལྕགས་རི་རྣམས་སྙོམ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

against every high tower, and against every fortified wall;

16  ཁོང་གིས་གྲུ་འཟིངས་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ཤིན་ཏུ་མཛེས་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ནུབ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the beautiful craft.

17-18  འགྲོ་བ་མིའི་སྤོབ་པ་འཛོགས་པ་དང་།  འགྲོ་བ་མིའི་ང་རྒྱལ་མེད་པར་མཛད་དོ། སྐུ་འདྲ་ཆ་ཚང་ཡལ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་ཉིན་དེར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཅིག་པོ་ལ་བསྟོད་དོ།

And the haughtiness of man shall be humbled, and the lofty pride of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. And the idols shall utterly pass away.

19  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ས་གཞིར་གཡོ་འགུལ་གཏོང་བར་ཕེབས་སྐབས་སུ།  མི་མང་རྣམས་བྲག་ཕུག་ཏུ་ཡིབ་པ་དང་ས་ལ་དོང་བྲུས་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་བ་ལས་གཡོལ་ཐབས་དང་ཁོང་གི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་ལས་ཡིབ་ཐབས་བྱེད་དོ།

And people shall enter the caves of the rocks and the holes of the ground, from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.

20  ཉིན་དེ་སླེབས་སྐབས་དེ་ཚོས་གསེར་དངུལ་གྱི་བཟོས་པའི་སྐུ་འདྲ་ཚོ་དབྱུགས་པ་དང། བྱི་བ་དང་ཙི་ཙི་སྒམ་པོ་ཚོར་དེ་ཚོ་བཞག་པར་བྱའོ།

In that day mankind will cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship, to the moles and to the bats,

21  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ས་གཞིར་གཡོ་འགུལ་གཏོང་བར་ཕེབས་སྐབས་སུ་མི་མང་རྣམས་དོང་དང་བྲག་ཕུག་ནང་ཡིབ་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་དང་ཁོང་གི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་ནས་གཡོ་ཐབས་བྱེད་དོ།

to enter the caverns of the rocks and the clefts of the cliffs, from before the terror of the Lord, and from the splendor of his majesty, when he rises to terrify the earth.

22  འཆི་རྒྱུའི་མི་ལ་བློས་འགེལ་མ་བྱེད།  དེ་ཚོ་ལ་རིན་ཐང་ཅི་ཡོད་དམ༎

Stop regarding man in whose nostrils is breath, for of what account is he?

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (1) – Isaiah (1)

1  མདོ་འདིའི་ནང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཨ་མོཛའི་བུ་ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ་ལ་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྣམས་ཨུ་ཛི་ཡཱ་དང་ཡོ་ཐམ་དང་ཨ་ཧཛ་དང་ཧེ་ཛི་ཀི་ཡཱ་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྲིད་སྐྱོངས་སྐབས་སུ་མངོན་པར་མཛད་པའི་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་དང་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་གྱི་སྐོར་གསུང་འཕྲིན་ཁག་གསལ་ཡོད༎

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

2  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  ཀྱེ་གནམ་དང་ས་གཞི་ངས་གང་སྨྲས་པར་ཉོན་ཞིག  ངས་གསོ་སྐྱོང་བྱས་པའི་བུ་ཕྲུག་ཚོས་ང་ལ་ངོ་ལོག་བྱས་བྱུང།

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for the Lord has spoken: “Children have I reared and brought up, but they have rebelled against me.

3  ཕྱུགས་ཟོག་སེམས་ཅན་ཚོས་ཀྱང་རང་གི་བདག་པོ་སུ་ཡིན་ཤེས་པ་མ་ཟད།  བོང་བུ་ཚོས་རང་གི་སྦྱིན་བདག་གི་རྩ་ཆག་གང་དུ་སྤྲད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་དེ་ཁོ་ཚོས་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཡོད།  འོན་ཀྱང་ངའི་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་མི་མང་ཚོས་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་གང་ཡང་ཤེས་རྟོགས་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་ཅེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ།

The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s crib, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.”

4  ཁྱོད་ནི་ཉེས་སྡིག་ཅན་གྱི་མི་རིགས་ངན་པ་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རང་གི་སྡིག་པས་འཇིགས་པ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྡིག་པས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་མར་འདྲུད་ཡོད།  ཁྱོ་ཚོས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དམ་པའི་དཀོནམཆོག་སྤངས་ནས་རང་གི་རྒྱབ་བསྟན་ཡོད་དོ།

Ah, sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the Lord, they have despised the Holy One of Israel, they are utterly estranged.

5  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཁོང་ལ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་མུ་མཐུད་དེ་ངོ་རྒོལ་ཞུ་བར་བྱེད་དམ།  ད་དུང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཉེས་ཆད་མྱོང་བར་འདོད་དམ།  ཀྱེ་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་པ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་མགོ་བོ་སྔོན་ནས་རྨ་ཡིས་གང་ཡོད་པ་དང། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྙིང་དང་སེམས་ཉིད་ནད་གཞིས་མནར་དོ།

Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

6  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་མགོ་ནས་རྐང་མཐིལ་བར་དུ་ནད་གཞི་མེད་པའི་གནས་ནི་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མེད།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ལུས་པོ་རྨ་རྗེས་དང་རྨ་ཁ་གསོ་རྒྱུ་མེད་པའི་རྨ་དང་ཤུ་བ་གང་ཞིང།  དེ་ཚོ་གཙང་མ་བཟོས་མེད་ཅིང་རྨ་རས་ཀྱང་དཀྲིས་མེད་དོ།  དེའི་ཁར་རྨ་སྨན་སོགས་བྱུག་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or softened with oil.

7  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཡུལ་ལུང་སྟོངས་ཤིང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མེས་འཚིགས་ཡོད་པ་དང།  ཕྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་ཚོས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་མཐོང་སར་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ས་ཆ་བཙན་འཕྲོག་དབང་བསྒྱུར་བྱས་ཏེ་གྱང་གོག་ཏུ་གཏོང་བར་བྱའོ།

Your country lies desolate; your cities are burned with fire; in your very presence foreigners devour your land; it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners.

8  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་གཅིག་པུ་ལྷག་ཡོད་དོ།  འོན་ཀྱང་དེ་མཐའ་སྐོར་ཡོད།  དེ་རྒུན་ཚལ་ནང་སྲུང་བྱ་བའི་ཁང་ཆུང་ངམ་ཀག་རའི་ཚལ་ཞིང་ཏུ་ཡབ་བཞིན་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་མེད་པར་ལུས་ཡོད།

And the daughter of Zion is left like a booth in a vineyard, like a lodge in a cucumber field, like a besieged city.

9  གལ་ཏེ་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་མང་ཁ་ཤས་ཚེ་ཐར་མ་གནང་བ་ཡིན་ན།  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ནི་སོ་དྷོམ་དང་གོ་མོ་ར་ལྟ་བུ་ཆ་ཚང་ཤུལ་མེད་དུ་འགྱུར་ངེས་སོ།

If the Lord of hosts had not left us a few survivors, we should have been like Sodom, and become like Gomorrah.

10  ཀྱེ་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྲིད་སྐྱོང་པ་ཚོ་དང་མི་མང་རྣམས་སོ་དྷོམ་པ་དང་གྷོ་མོ་རཱ་པ་བཞིན་ཡིན་པས།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བཀའ་གང་གནང་བཞིན་ཡོད་པ་དེ་ལ་ཉོན་ཞིག  ང་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཇི་ལྟར་སློབ་སྟོན་གནང་བར་དོ་སྣང་བྱོས་ཤིག

Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom! Give ear to the teaching of our God, you people of Gomorrah!

11  ཁོང་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བར།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་བསམ་བློར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ལ་ཕུལ་བཞིན་པའི་དམར་མཆོད་འདི་ཚོ་ལ་ངས་འདོད་ཀྱི་རེད་བསམ་གྱི་འདུག་གམ།  ང་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ལུག་གི་སྦྱིན་སྲེག་གི་དམར་མཆོད་དང་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚིལ་ལུས་ཞེན་པ་ལོག་ཡོད། ང་ནི་བ་གླང་དང་ལུག་དང་རའི་ཁྲག་གིས་ཡིད་ཐང་ཆད་སོང།

What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of well-fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.

12  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ལ་མཆོད་པར་ཡོང་སྐབས་སུས་དེ་ཚོ་ངའི་སར་འཁྱེར་ཤོག་ཅེས་བརྗོད་བྱུང་ངམ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ངའི་མཆོད་ཁང་ནང་སུས་ཕར་ཆུར་འགྲུལ་དགོས་ཟེར་བརྗོད་བྱུང་ངམ།

“When you come to appear before me, who has required of you this trampling of my courts?

13  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་མཆོད་པ་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་བ་དེ་ཕན་མེད་ཡིན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བདུག་པའི་སྤོས་ཀྱི་དྲི་མར་ང་ཞེན་པ་ལོག་སོང།  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཟླ་བ་གསར་པའི་དུས་ཆེན་དང།  ངལ་གསོ་བའི་ཞག་དུས་ཆེན་དང་གཞན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་འདུ་འཛོམས་ཁག་ལ་བཟོད་སྲན་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ།  དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྡིག་པས་ངན་སླད་དུ་འགྱུར་ཡོད་དོ།

Bring no more vain offerings; incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath and the calling of convocations— I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly.

14  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཟླ་བ་གསར་པའི་དུས་ཆེན་དང་ཉི་མ་དམ་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ངས་སྡང་པོ་བྱེད་པ་དང་།  དེ་ཚོ་ངས་འཁུར་མ་ཐུབ་པའི་ཁུར་པོ་འཛི་པོ་ལྟ་བུ་ཆགས་ཡོད་དོ།

Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates; they have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.

15  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ལག་པ་ཡར་འདེགས་ནས་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སྐབས་།  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་མི་བསྟའོ། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་སྨོན་ལམ་ཇི་མང་རྒྱབ་ཡང་ངས་མི་ཉན་ནོ།  གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ལག་པ་རྣམས་ཁྲག་གིས་བཏུམ་ཡོད་དོ།

When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood.

16  ཁྱོད་རང་ཚོ་གཙང་མ་ཁྲུས་ཤིག།  ངས་མཐོང་སར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བྱས་པའི་བྱ་བ་ངན་རིགས་རྣམས་སྤངས་ནས་མཚམས་འཇོགས་བྱོས་ཤིག

Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil,

17  དྲང་བདེན་བྱ་རྒྱུར་སློབས་ཤིག།  ཁྲིམས་དཔྱོད་དྲང་པོ་གཏོང་ཤིག་དང་།  མནར་གཅོད་མྱོང་མཁན་ཚོར་རོགས་རམ་དང།  ད་ཕྲུག་ཚོར་རང་གི་ཐོབ་ཐང་དང་ཡུག་མོ་ཚོར་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་བྱོས་ཤིག་ཅེས་གསུངས་སོ།

learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.

18  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  ད་ང་ཚོ་གནས་སྟངས་སྐོར་ལ་གྲོས་བསྡུར་བྱ་དགོས།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་སྡིག་པས་ཐིག་དམར་པོར་འགྱུར་ཡོད་ན་ཡང་ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཁ་བ་ལྟར་དཀར་པོ་འཁྲུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་སྡིག་པའི་ཐིག་རྒྱ་སྨུག་ལྟར་ཡོད་ན་ཡང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་བལ་ལྟར་དཀར་པོར་འགྱུར་ཡོང།

“Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.

19  གལ་སྲིད་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ངའི་བཀའ་ལ་ཉན་པ་ཡིན་ན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ས་ཞིང་ནས་ཐོན་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་བཟང་པོ་ཟ་བར་འགྱུར།

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

20  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ལ་ངོ་རྒོལ་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་འཆི་བར་ངེས་སོ།  ང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ༎

but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

21  སྔར་དམ་ཚིག་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ད་ཆ་སྨད་འཚོང་མའི་བྱ་སྤྱོད་བྱ་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དུས་སྐབས་ཤིག་ལ་དེར་མི་དྲང་བདེན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཁེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང།  ད་ཆ་དེར་མི་གསོད་མཁན་རྣམས་གཅིག་པོའི་ལྷག་ཡོད།

How the faithful city has become a whore, she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.

22  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ཁྱོད་སྔར་དངུལ་ལྟར་ཡོད་པ་ད་ཆ་ཕན་མེད་དུ་འགྱུར་ཡོད།  སྔར་རྒུན་ཆང་ཞིམ་པོ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ཡོད་ཅིང་ད་ཆ་ཆུ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ།

Your silver has become dross, your best wine mixed with water.

23  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འགོ་འཛིན་ཚོ་ངོ་ལོག་མཁན་དང་རྐུན་ཇག་གི་གྲོགས་པོ་ཡིན་པ་དང།  རྔན་པ་དང་ལྐོག་རྔན་རྟག་ཏུ་ལེན་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དེ་ཚོས་ཁྲིམས་ཁང་ནང་ད་ཕྲུག་ཚོར་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་མི་བྱེད་པ་དང་ཡུག་མོ་ཚོའི་ཁ་མཆུར་ཉན་གྱི་མེད་དོ།

Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow’s cause does not come to them.

24  ད་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་ཅན་གྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བར་ཉོན་ཞིག  ངའི་དགྲ་བོ་ཁྱོད་ཐོག་ངས་དགྲ་ཤ་ལེན་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ང་ལ་སླར་ཡང་དཀའ་ངལ་བཟོ་མི་ཐུབ་བོ།

Therefore the Lord declares, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: “Ah, I will get relief from my enemies and avenge myself on my foes.

25  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཐོག་ཉེས་ཆད་གཏོང་རྒྱུ་དང།  ངས་གསེར་དངུལ་ཟང་ལྕགས་ནི་ལྷད་མེད་བཟོ་བ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཡང་གཙང་མ་བཟོ་རྒྱུ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མི་གཙང་བ་ཚང་མ་ཕྱིར་འདོན་བྱ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

I will turn my hand against you and will smelt away your dross as with lye and remove all your alloy.

26  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་སྔར་ཡོད་པ་ལྟར་ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སྲིད་སྐྱོང་པ་དང་གྲོས་སྟོན་པ་རྣམས་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།  དེ་ནས་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ནི་དྲང་བདེན་དང་དམ་ཚིག་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཞེས་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”

27  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནི་དྲང་བདེན་ཡིན་སྟབས།  ཁོང་གིས་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་དང་འགྱོད་བཤགས་ཕུལ་མཁན་རྣམས་སྐྱོབས་པར་གནང་ཡོང་ངོ།

Zion shall be redeemed by justice, and those in her who repent, by righteousness.

28  འོན་ཀྱང་སྡིག་པ་བྱ་མཁན་དང་ཁོང་ལ་ངོ་ལོག་བྱ་མཁན་ཚང་མ་སྣུབ་པར་མཛད་རྒྱུ་དང་ཁོང་ལ་སྤོང་མཁན་རྣམས་གསོད་པར་མཛད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

But rebels and sinners shall be broken together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.

29  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཤིང་སྡོང་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པ་དང་ལྡུམ་ར་དམ་པ་རྣམས་འདེབས་པ་དེ་ལ་འགྱོད་པ་བསྐྱེད་པར་འགྱུར།

For they shall be ashamed of the oaks that you desired; and you shall blush for the gardens that you have chosen.

30  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་བེར་ཤིང་རྒས་ནས་རུལ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་ཆུ་བླུགས་མཁན་མེད་པའི་ལྡུམ་ར་བཞིན་ཡལ་བར་འགྱུར།

For you shall be like an oak whose leaf withers, and like a garden without water.

31  མེ་ཚག་གིས་སོག་མ་ལ་མེ་འབར་བ་ལྟར་མི་སྟོབས་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཚོ་ཡང་དེ་ཚོའི་ལས་ངན་གྱིས་མེད་པར་བཟོ་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་སུས་ཀྱང་དེ་ཚོའི་འཇིགས་པ་ལ་འགོག་མི་ཐུབ་བོ༎

And the strong shall become tinder, and his work a spark, and both of them shall burn together, with none to quench them.
