ལྗཱོན་གྱིས་སྲོག་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཆུའི་གཙང་པོ་དེ་འགྲེལ་བཤད་རྒྱབ་པ།

John Describes the River of Life-Giving Water

 

1 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་སྲོག་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཆུས་གང་བའི་གཙང་པོ་དེ་ང་ལ་བསྟན་གནང་བྱུང་།   དེ་དྭངས་

ཤེལ་འདྲ་པོ་གཙང་མ་འདུག   །གཙང་པོ་འདི་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གི་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་འོག་ནས་རྒྱུག་གི་

འདུག

1 Then the angel also showed me the river that is full of Life-Giving water. It was as clear as crystal. This river was flowing out from under the throne of God and of the Lamb.

 

2 དེ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་རྒྱ་ལམ་ལྟེ་བ་དེ་ནས་མར་རྒྱུག་གི་འདུག   །གཙང་པོ་དེའི་གཞོགས་གཉིས་ཀར་ལ་‘སྲོག་

གི་སྡོང་པོ་’འདུག   །སྡོང་པོ་འདི་ལ་ཟླ་བ་མི་རེ་ངོ་རེ་འབྲས་བུ་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་།   ལོ་གཅིག་ལ་ཐེངས་མ་བཅུ་

གཉིས་འབྲས་བུ་སྐྱེ་གི་འདུག   །སྡོང་པོ་དེ་ཚོའི་ལོ་མ་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་དེ་ཚོ་གསོ་བའི་ཆེད་དུ་རེད་འདུག

2 It flowed down the main thoroughfare of the city. On each side of the river was the ‘Tree of Life’. This tree bears fruit every month – twelve times a year. And their leaves are for the healing of the nations.

 

3 དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ངོས་ལེན་མེད་གསུངས་པའི་མི་དང་དངོས་པོ་ག་འདྲ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནས་དེ་

གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནང་ཞུགས་ཆོག་གི་མི་འདུག   །ཡིན་ན་ཡང་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གི་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་དེ་དེར་

མཐོང་བ་དང་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཞབས་ཕྱི་ཚོས་ཁོང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་གི་རེད།

3 No person or thing that God has declared unacceptable will be permitted in the city. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and God’s servants will worship him.

 

4 ཁོང་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་འཁྲིས་

ནས་ཞལ་མཇལ་བ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཐོད་པ་ལ་ཁོང་གི་མཚན་འབྲི་གི་རེད།

4 They will see God face to face and his name will be written on their foreheads.

 

5 ཕྱིན་ཆད་དེར་མཚན་མོ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་

རེད།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚོ་ལ་སྒྲོན་མེའི་འོད་དང༌། ཡང་ན་ཉི་མའི་འོད་ དགོས་པ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་མ་

རེད།   འདི་གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་འོད་འཕྲོ་བ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་རྒྱལ་

པོ་ནང་བཞིན་གཏན་དུ་དབང་སྒྱུར་བྱེད་ཀྱི་རེད།

5 Night will no longer exist. The people in the city will not need any light from lamps or from the sun. This is because the Lord God will shine upon them and they will rule like kings forever and ever.

 

6 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང༌།   “ཁྱེད་རང་གིས་ཐོས་པའི་སྐད་ཆ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་བདེན་པ་དང་བློས་འགེལ་ཆོག་པ་ཡོད་རེད།   ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་ལ་

སེམས་འགུལ་ཐེབས་པ་བཟོ་གནང་མཁན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གིས་རང་གི་ཞབས་ཏོག་ཞུ་མཁན་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་

ལ་དུས་ཡུན་རིང་པོ་མ་འགོར་བར་འབྱུང་རྒྱུ་ངེས་པའི་དོན་རྐྱེན་དེ་ཚོ་བསྟན་གནང་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཁོང་གི་ཕོ་ཉ་དེ་

མངགས་གནང་པ་རེད། ”

6 Then angel said to me, “All the words you have heard are true and can be trusted. The Lord; the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show all those who serve him, the events that are certain to take place before long.”

7“ལྟོས་དང་།   [ཡེ་ཤུ་] ང་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཡོང་གི་ཡོད།   གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་བཀོད་ཡོད་པའི་ལུང་བསྟན་དེ་

ཚོ་ལ་བརྩི་བཀུར་བྱེད་མཁན་མི་དེ་ཚོ་སྐྱིད་པོ་རེད།”

7 “Look, I [Jesus] am coming soon! Blessed (happy) are those people who obey the prophetic words that are written in this book.”

 

8[འདིའི་རྗེས་ལ་ལྗཱོན་གྱིས་བྲིས་གནང་པ།]   འདི་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཐོས་མཁན་དང་མཐོང་མཁན་དེ་ལྗཱོན་ང་ཡིན།   ངས་འདི་ཚོ་ཐོས་པ་དང་མཐོང་པའི་རྗེས་ལ།   ངས་ང་ལ་འདི་ཚོ་སྟོན་གནང་མཁན་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གི་ཞབས་ལ་

ཕྱག་འཚལ་པ་ཡིན།   ངས་ཁོང་གི་མདུན་ལ་གུས་འདུད་བྱས་པ་ཡིན།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   ང་ཁོང་ལ་

བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཁོང་ལ་ཆེ་མཐོང་འབུལ་འདོད་བྱུང་།

8 [After this, John wrote.] I, John am the one who heard and saw all these things. After hearing and seeing them I prostrated myself at the feet of the angel who had shown these things to me. I bowed down before him because I wanted to honour him by worshipping him.

 

9 ཡིན་ན་ཡང་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་

སོང༌།   “[ཡར་ལོངས།]   དེ་འདྲ་མ་བྱིས།   ང་ཡང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཞབས་ཕྱི་ཡིན།   ཁྱེད་རང་དང་ཁྱེད་

རང་གི་རོགས་པ་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་དང་།   གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་གང་བྲིས་ཡོད་པ་དེ་ལ་བརྩི་བཀུར་བྱེད་མཁན་

མི་ཚང་མ་ནང་བཞིན་ངས་ཀྱང་ཁོང་གི་ཞབས་ཏོག་སྒྲུབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད།   [ཁྱེད་རང་ང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་ཡོད་

མ་རེད།] ཁྱེད་རང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཅིག་པུ་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་དགོས།”

9 But the angel said to me, “[Get up!] Don’t do that. I too am God’s servant. I serve him just as you and your fellow prophets, and all those who obey what is written in this book. [You must not worship me]. You must only worship God.

 

10 དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་གསུངས་སོང་།   “གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་ལུང་བསྟན་གྱི་ཚིག་དེ་ཚོ་མི་ཚོས་ཤེས་པ་

བྱེད་རྒྱུར་འགོག་རྐྱེན་མ་བཟོས།   [དེ་ཁོང་ཚོའི་སར་ནས་སྦེད་སྐུང་མ་བྱིས།] གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   གླེགས་བམ་

འདི་ནང་གང་ཁྱབ་བསྒྲགས་བྱས་པ་དང་བྲིས་པ་དེ་ཚོ་མགྱོགས་པོ་འབྱུང་གི་རེད།

10 Then he said, “Do not prevent the people from knowing the prophetic words which are contained in this book. [Don’t hide it from them] because everything that has been announced and written down in this book will happen very soon.

 

11 དེའི་རིང་ཉེས་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་མུ་མཐུད་ནས་ཉེས་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་བཅུག་

པ་དང་།   དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་བྱ་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་མུ་མཐུད་ནས་ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་མི་གཙང་བའི་

བྱ་བ་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་དེར་འགོག་ཐབས་མ་བྱིས།   བཟང་པོ་ཡིན་པའི་མི་ཚང་མས་ཡང་དག་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་བྱེད་

དགོས་པ་དང་།   དམ་པ་ཡིན་པའི་མི་ཚང་མས་ཉེས་སྤྱོད་འཛེམ་དགོས།

11 In the meantime [do not try and stop] those who do wrong from continuing to do wrong; and do not try to stop all those who practice immorality from continuing to behave in a filthy immoral way. And all those who are good must continue to do what is right; and all those who are holy must refrain from doing evil.

 

12-13 ཡེ་ཤུ་ཡིས་གསུང་གི་ཡོད་རེད།   “ལྟོས་དང་།”   “ང་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཡོང་གི་ཡོད།   མི་ཞིག་གིས་བྱ་བ་

བཟང་ངན་གང་བྱས་པ་ལ་གཞིགས་པའི་ང་མི་མི་རེ་ངོ་རེ་ལ་བཟང་པོ་ལ་བཟང་ལན་དང་ངན་པ་བྱེད་མཁན་ལ་

ཉེས་པ་གཏང་ག་ཡོང་གི་ཡིན།   ཐོག་མ་དང་མཐའ་མ་དེ་ང་ཡིན།   ངས་ཚང་མ་འགོ་ཚུགས་པ་དང་དེ་ཚོ་

ཚང་མ་མཇུག་སྒྲིལ་བ་བཟོ་གི་ཡོད།”[ངས་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་དངོས་པོ་ཚང་མ་འབྱུང་བ་དང་དེའི་རིགས་ཚང་མ་

མཐའ་ཅན་བཟོ་གི་ཡོད།]

12-13 “Listen!” says Jesus. “I am coming soon. I am coming to either reward or to punish each individual according to what he or she has done. I am the First and the Last. I begin all things and I bring all things to an end.” [I cause all interdependent things to arise and I bring all such things to an end.]

 

14 རང་གི་ཕྱུ་པ་གཙང་མ་བཀྲུ་མཁན་ཚོ་སྐྱིད་པོ་རེད།   འདི་འདྲ་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་བརྒྱུད་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་

ནང་ཞུགས་པ་དང་།   ‘སྲོག་གི་སྡོང་པོ་’དེ་ནས་འབྲས་བུ་ཟ་རྒྱུའི་ཐོབ་ཐང་ཡོད་རེད།

14 Happy are those who wash their robes. Those who do this will have the right to enter the city by the gates and to eat the fruit from the ‘Tree of Life.’

 

15 ཡིན་ན་ཡང་ ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་འཁྲིག་པ་སྤྱོད་མཁན་དང་།   ངན་སྔགས་ལག་ལེན་བསྟར་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་བྱ་བ་བྱེད་མཁན་དང་།   མི་གསོད་ཁྲག་སྦྱོར་བྱེད་

མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   འདྲ་བརྙན་ལ་ཕྱག་མཆོད་པ་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   རྒྱུན་གཏན་ནས་རྫུན་ཤོད་པ་དང་མི་

གཞན་དག་ཚོ་ལ་[མགོ་སྐོར་གཏོང་རྒྱུར་] དགའ་པོ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཕྱི་ལོགས་ལ་ཡོད་རེད།

15 But outside the city are the perverts; and those who practice sorcery; the immoral and the murderers; those who worship idols and everyone who habitually tells lies and loves to [deceive] other people.

 

16“ཡེ་ཤུ་ངས་ཆོས་ཚོགས་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལ་འདི་ཚོ་དྲིལ་བསྒྲགས་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་ང་རང་གི་

ཕོ་ཉ་བཏང་ཡོད།   ང་ཌེ་ལྦིདྲ་གི་འབྱུང་ཁུངས་(རྩ་བ་དེ་) ཡིན་པ་དང་།   ང་ཌེ་ལྦིདྲ་གི་རྒྱུད་པ་[ཡང་] ཡིན།   ཉི་མ་ཐོག་མར་ཤར་དུས་སྐར་མ་བཀྲག་མདངས་ཆེན་པོ་ཤར་གྱི་ཡོད་པ་འདྲ་པོ་དེ་ང་ཡིན།”

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to announce these things to you who are in the churches. I am the originator (the root) of David and I am [also] his descendant. I am the One who is like the star that shines brightly at sunrise.”

 

17(དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་) ཐུགས་ཉིད་དང་བག་མས་གསུང་གི་ཡོད་རེད།   “གཙོ་བོ་ཡེ་ཤུ་

ཕེབས་རོགས་གནང་།” འདི་ཐོས་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་ “ཤོག”ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་ཆུག   །ཁ་སྐོམ་པོ་ཚོ་དང་འཐུང་འདོད་

ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཡོང་ཆུག   །སྲོག་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཆུ་འཐུང་འདོད་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་དེ་གསོལ་རས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་

རིན་མེད་ཐོག་ནས་ལོངས་ཤིག

17 [God’s] Spirit and the Bride say, “Come, Lord Jesus!” Let those who hear this say, “Come!” Let all those who are thirsty and want to drink come! Let all those who wish to drink the life-giving water receive it freely as a gift.

18 ལྗཱོན་ངས་བྲིས་པའི་གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་བཀོད་ཡོད་པའི་ཚིག་དེ་ཚོ་[འགྱུར་བ་གང་ཡང་གཏོང་རྒྱུ་མེད་པའི་]

ངས་ཚང་མ་ལ་ནན་པོའི་ཐོག་ནས་ཉེན་བརྡ་གཏོང་གི་ཡོད།   གལ་སྲིད་མི་སུ་ཞིག་གིས་འདེའི་གང་བྲིས་ཡོད་པ་

དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ཁ་སྣོན་བརྒྱབ་པ་ཡིན་ན།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་དེའི་ཉེས་པ་ཡང་ཁ་སྣོན་བརྒྱབ་གནང་གི་རེད།   ཁོང་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ་གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་འགྲེལ་བཤད་བརྒྱབ་པའི་བཀའ་ཆད་དེ་ཚོ་གནང་པའི་ཐོག་ནས་ཉེས་པ་གཏང་གནང་གི་རེད།

18 I, John, solemnly warn everyone who hears the words of this book (not to change anything) which I have written. If anyone adds anything extra to what is written here, God will add to his or her punishment. He will punish that person with the plagues which have been described in this book.

 

19 གལ་སྲིད་མི་སུ་ཞིག་གིས་གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་ལུང་བསྟན་གྱི་

ཚིག་དེ་ཚོ་ཕྱིར་འདོན་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་འགྲེལ་བཤད་བསྐྱོན་གནང་

པའི་སྲོག་གི་སྡོང་པོ་དེ་ནས་འབྲས་བུ་ཟ་རྒྱུའི་ཐོབ་ཐང་དང་།   དམ་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནང་སྡོད་རྒྱུའི་ཐོབ་ཐང་

དེ་འཕྲོག་གནང་གི་རེད།

19 And if anyone removes anything from the prophetic messages contained in this book, God will take away from that person the right to eat fruit from the Tree of Life, and the right to live in the Holy City, that are described in this book.

 

20 གླེགས་བམ་འདི་ནང་གང་བཀོད་ཡོད་པ་ཚང་མའི་དཔང་པོ་གཡོ་བ་མེད་པ་ [ཡེ་ཤུ་] གིས་ [གསུང་གི་ཡོད་

རེད།]“ང་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཡོང་གི་ཡོད།” དེ་ནས་ལྗཱོན་གྱིས་ལན་བསྐྱོན་ནས་གསུངས་པ།   “ཨ་མེན།   དེ་ག་

རང་ཡོང་བར་ཤོག   །གཙོ་བོ་ཡེ་ཤུ་ཕེབས་རོགས་གནང་།”

20 [Jesus] who is testifying regarding all that is written in this book [says], “Yes, I am coming soon!” [Then John replied], “Amen! So be it. Come Lord Jesus!”

 

21 ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ལ་གཙོ་བོ་ཡེ་ཤུའི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཁྱབ་པ་[དང་།   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་

ལ་སེམས་གསོ་དང་བློ་སྟོབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག།]   དེ་ག་རང་ཡོང་བར་ཤོག

21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus pervade you all [and give you comfort and strength]. Amen.

The New City of Jerusalem

 

1[ལྗཱོན་གྱིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གིས་མི་མི་རེ་ངོ་རེ་ལ་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅོད་གནང་གི་ཡོད་པའི་ཞལ་གཟིགས་དེ་མཐོང་

པའི་རྗེས་ལ་ཁོང་གིས་བྲིས་གནང་པ།]   [ལྗཱོན་] ངས་ནམ་མཁའ་གསར་པ་ཞིག་དང་ས་གཞི་གསར་པ་ཞིག་

མཐོང་བྱུང་།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   ནམ་མཁའ་དང་པོ་དེ་དང་ས་གཞི་དང་པོ་དེ་ཡལ་ནས་མི་འདུག   །རྒྱ་

མཚོ་དེ་ཡང་མི་འདུག

1 [After John had seen the vision of God judging every individual person he wrote]: I [John] saw a new sky and a new earth. For the first sky and the first earth had disappeared and no longer existed. And the sea no longer existed.

 

2 དེ་ནས་ངས་ལྗུ་རུ་ས་ལེམ་

གསར་པ་ཡིན་པའི་དམ་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   ངས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གསར་པ་འདི་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནས་མར་

ཡོང་གི་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཏང་གནང་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གསར་པ་འདི་གོས་སྙིང་རྗེ་པོ་

གོན་ནས་རང་གི་ཁྱོ་ག་ཆེད་དུ་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་པའི་བག་མ་ཞིག་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག

2 Then I saw the Holy City, which is the new Jerusalem. I saw this new city coming down out of Heaven. This new city, which was sent by God, was like a beautifully-dressed bride who was adorned for her husband.

གི་སྒྲ་དེས་གསུངས་སོང༌།   “ལྟོས་དང་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་འགྲོ་བ་མི་ཚོའི་ཆེད་དུ་སྐྱབས་གནས་ཆགས་ཀྱི་

རེད།   ཁོང་ཁོང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་བཞུགས་པ་ (དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོ་གཡུག་བཞག་གནང་གི་མ་རེད།)   ཁོང་ཚོ་

ཁོང་གི་མི་ཆགས་པ་ (དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་ཁོང་ལ་དགའ་པོའི་ཐོག་ནས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་བ་དང་ཅི་གསུང་བཀའ་

3 I heard a loud voice. It came from the direction of the throne. The voice said, “Behold! God will be a refuge for human beings. He will abide with them (and will not leave them). They will be his people (and they will gladly worship and obey him). Yes! God himself will be with them and he will be their God.

 

4[དཀོན་མཆོག་] ཁོང་གིས་ཁོང་ཚོའི་མིག་ཆུ་ཚང་མ་འཕྱིད་

གནང་གི་རེད།   འཆི་བ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།   ཕྱིན་ཆད་མི་སུ་ཞིག་སེམས་སྡུག་བྱེད་པ་དང་།   ཡང་ན་ངུ་

བ་དང་།   ཡང་ན་སྡུག་བསྔལ་མྱང་གི་མ་རེད།   ན་བ་དང་རྒ་བ་དང་འཆི་བ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།   གང་

ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   འདི་ཚོ་གཏན་དུ་ཡལ་བ་རེད།”

4 He [God] will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist. No one will ever grieve again or weep or suffer pain. Sickness, old age, and death will no longer exist. For these things have disappeared for ever.”

God Instructs John What to Write

 

5 བཞུགས་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་བཞུགས་མཁན་ཁོང་གིས་གསུངས་སོང༌།   “ལྟོས་དང༌།   ངས་ཚང་མ་གསར་པ་བཟོ་གི་

ཡོད།”   དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང༌།   “ངས་ཁྱེད་རང་ལ་ག་རེ་ལབ་པ་དེ་བྲིས་ཤིག   །གང་ཡིན་

ཟེར་ན།   ངས་གང་ལབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་(ཚང་མ་) བདེན་པ་ཡིན་ཙང་།   ཁྱེད་རང་དེ་ལ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བློས་བཀལ་བྱེད་

ཆོག་གི་རེད།”

5 The One sitting on the throne said, “Behold! I am making everything new!” Then he said to me, “Write down what I have told you, for you can trust what I am saying, for it is (all) true.”

 

6 དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང་།   “ཚང་མ་ད་ལྟ་བསྒྲུབས་ཚར་བ་རེད།   ང་ཐོག་མ་དང་མཐའ་མ་དེ་

ཡིན།   [ངས་ཚང་མ་འགོ་འཛུགས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   ངས་ཚང་མ་མཇུག་སྒྲིལ་གྱི་ཡོད།]   སྐོམ་པ་ཚང་མ་ལ་

ངས་སྲོག་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཆུ་མིག་ནས་ཐོན་གྱི་ཡོད་པའི་ཆུ་དེ་སྤྲད་ཀྱི་ཡིན།   མི་ཚོས་དེ་ལ་རིན་པ་སྤྲད་མི་དགོས་པ་

དང་།   ཡང་ན་དེའི་ཚབ་ལ་གང་ཡང་སྤྲད་དགོས་ཀྱི་མ་རེད།

6 Then he said to me, “All things are now accomplished. I am the First and the Last [I begin all things and I bring all things to an end]. I will give to all who are thirsty the water that comes from the spring of Life-Giving water. People will not have to pay for it or give anything in return.

 

7(དབང་དུ་འདུ་ནས་) རྒྱལ་ཁ་ཐོབ་མཁན་མི་

ཚང་མ་ལ་ངས་ [ཁེ་ཕན་] འདི་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་སྤྲད་ཀྱི་ཡིན།   ང་ཁོང་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཆགས་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོ་

ངའི་མི་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།

7 I will give all these things [benefits] to those who (conquer) and win the victory. I will be their God and they will be my people.

 

8 ཡིན་ན་ཡང་དཔའ་བློ་ཁོག་མེད་པ་ཚོ་དང་།   དད་པ་མེད་པ་དང་།   མི་ངན་ཚོ་དང་།   མི་གསོད་ཁྲག་སྦྱོར་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   འཁྲིག་སྤྱོད་ཀྱི་སྡིག་ལས་

བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   སྔགས་པ་ཚོ་དང་།   འདྲ་བརྙན་ལ་མཆོད་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   རྫུན་ཤོད་མཁན་ཚང་མ་

ལ་ཉེས་པ་འཕོག་གི་རེད།   ཁོ་ཚོ་མུ་ཟེ་འབར་བཞིན་པའི་མེའི་མཚོ་ནང་གཡུག་ནས་ཉེས་པ་གཏང་གི་རེད།   འདི་འཆི་བ་གཉིས་པ་དེ་རེད།”

8 But those who are cowardly, unbelieving, vile, murderers, sexual sinners, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will be punished. They will be punished by being cast into the fiery lake of burning sulphur. This is the second death.”

 

9 དེ་ནས་བཀའ་ཆད་མཐའ་མ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོས་བཀང་པའི་ཕོར་པ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ནས་ཕོར་པ་གཅིག་སྣོམ་ཡོད་

པའི་ཕོ་ཉ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོའི་ནང་ནས་གཅིག་ཕེབས་ནས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང་།   “ང་མཉམ་དུ་ཤོག   །ལུ་གུ་

དེ་ལ་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་ཀྱི་ཡིན་པའི་བག་མ་དེ་ངས་ཁྱེད་རང་ལ་བསྟན་གྱི་ཡིན།”

9 Then one of the seven angels who [had] held one of the seven bowls that contained the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come with me! I will show you the bride who will marry the Lamb.”

An Angel Shows John the New City of Jerusalem

 

10 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཁྱབ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་དེས་ང་རི་མཐོ་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཅིག་གི་རྩེ་མོར་

ཁྲིད་གནང་སོང་།   དེར་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་[དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་] དམ་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ལྗུ་རུ་ས་ལེམ་བསྟན་གནང་

བྱུང་།    དེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་[རང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྤྱན་སྔ་] ནས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནས་མར་འབབ་ཀྱི་འདུག

10 Then I [John] pervaded by God’s Spirit, was carried by an angel to the top of a very high mountain. There he showed me [God’s] Holy City of Jerusalem. It was coming down out of Heaven – from [the very presence of] God.

 

11 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཀྱི་འོད་མདངས་

པ་དང་།   དེ་དྭངས་ཤེལ་འདྲ་པོ་གསལ་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་འདུག

11 The city shone with the brilliant light of God’s incomparable glory. Its radiance was like an exceedingly rare and precious jewel that was as clear as crystal.

 

12 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་མཐའ་སྐོར་ལ་ལྕགས་རི་ཞེ་དྲག་མཐོ་པོ་ཞིག་འདུག   །ལྕགས་རི་དེ་

ཞེང་ཁ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   དེ་ལ་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་འདུག   །ཕོ་ཉ་བཅུ་གཉིས་དེ་ཚོ་ [ཡང་] དེར་འདུག   །རྒྱལ་སྒོ་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེར་སྲུང་བྱ་བ་ཕོ་ཉ་རེ་རེ་བཞག་འདུག   །ཨིཛ་རེལ་པའི་རུས་སྡེ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་མིང་རྒྱལ་

སྒོ་དེ་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་བྲིས་འདུག   །རྒྱལ་སྒོ་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེའི་སྒང་ལ་རུས་སྡེ་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེའི་མིང་བྲིས་འདུག

12 There was a very high wall around the city. The wall was broad and it had twelve gates. Twelve angels were [also] there. At each gate an angel was on guard. The names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. On each individual gate the name of one of the tribes was written.

 

13 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་ལྕགས་རི་ཟུར་བཞི་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེར་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་གསུམ་འདུག   །ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ལ་ཁ་གཏད་

ཡོད་པའི་ལྕགས་རི་ལ་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་གསུམ་དང༌།   ལྷོ་ལ་ཁ་གཏད་ཡོད་པའི་ལྕགས་རི་དེ་ལ་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་གསུམ་དང་།   ནུབ་ལ་ཁ་གཏད་ཡོད་པའི་ལྕགས་རི་དེ་ལ་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་གསུམ་དང༌། བྱང་ལ་ཁ་གཏད་ཡོད་པའི་ལྕགས་རི་དེ་ལ་

13 On each of the four sides of the city wall there were three gates. There were three gates on the wall facing east; three gates on the wall facing south; three gates on the wall facing west; and three gates on the wall facing north.

 

14 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་ལྕགས་རི་ལ་རྨང་གཞི་

བཅུ་གཉིས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   དེ་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གི་སྐུ་ཚབ་བཅུ་གཉིས་དེ་ཚོའི་མཚན་བཀོད་འདུག   །རྨང་གཞི་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེའི་སྒང་ལ་མཚན་རེ་རེ་བཀོད་འདུག

14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb were written. Each foundation had one name written upon it.

 

15 ང་ལ་བཀའ་མོལ་གནང་མཁན་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་ཚད་འཇལ་

ཡག་གསེར་གྱི་དབྱུག་པ་ཞིག་བསྣམས་འདུག   །ཁོང་གིས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་དང་།   དེའི་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་དེ་ཚོ་དང་།   དའི་ལྕགས་རི་དེ་ཚད་འཇལ་གྲབས་གནང་གི་འདུག

15 The angel who talked to me held a golden rod for measuring the size of things. He was about to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.

 

16 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་གྲུ་བཞི་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག   །གྲུ་ཟུར་བཞི་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་རིང་ཐུང་གཅིག་པ་རེད་འདུག   །ཕོ་

ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་དེ་ཚད་འཇལ་གནང་དུས་ (ཁོང་གིས་དེའི་བཟོ་དབྱིབས་ཤོ་འདྲ་པོ་ཡོད་པ་གཟིགས་སོང་།) དེའི་

རིང་ཚད་སྤྱི་ལེ་ཆིག་སྟོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ (1,500) རེད་འདུག   །དེ་རིང་པོ་ཡོད་པ་ནང་བཞིན་ཞེང་ཁ་ཡང་ཆེན་པོ་

དང་མཐོ་པོ་ཡང་འདུག

16 The city was laid out like a square. All four sides were the same length. When the angel measured it (he found it was cube-like in shape). Its length was 1,500 miles. It was as wide and as high as it was long.

 

17 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་ལྕགས་རི་དེའི་མཐོ་ཚད་ [དང་ཡང་ན་མཐུག་ལོས་] ཚད་འཇལ་གནང་པ་དང་།   དེ་མི་ཚོས་བེད་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པའི་ཚད་གཞིར་

བཟུང་ཁྲུ་ཉི་བརྒྱ་བཅུ་དྲུག་ (216) ཡོད་པ་གཟིགས་སོང་།

17 Then the angel measured the height [or thickness] of the wall and found it to be 216 feet (according to the human standard used by people).

 

18 ལྕགས་རི་དེ་འོད་ལྗང་ཁུ་དང་དམར་པོ་སྙིང་རྗེ་པོ་འཕྲོ་གི་ཡོད་པའི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་དྲ་པོ་ནས་བཟོས་

ཡིན་པ་དང་།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ (དང་དེ་ནང་གང་ཡོད་པ་ཚང་མ་) གསེར་གཙོ་མ་ནས་བཟོས་འདུག

།གསེར་དེ་ཤེལ་འདྲ་པོ་དྭངས་མ་འདུག

18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city (and everything in it) was made of pure gold. The gold was as clear as glass.

 

19 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་ལྕགས་རིའི་རྨང་གཞི་དེའི་རྡོ་དེ་ཚོ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བརྒྱན་སྤྲས་འདུག:   རྨང་གཞི་

དང་པོ་དེ་འོད་ལྗང་ཁུ་དང་དམར་པོ་སྙིང་རྗེ་པོ་འཕྲོ་གི་ཡོད་པའི་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོས་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   གཉིས་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་སྔོན་པོས་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་པ་དང་།   གསུམ་པ་མཚོན་མདོག་ལྗང་ཁུ་ཡིན་པའི་རིན་པོ་

ཆེ་རྡོས་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་པ་དང་།   བཞི་པ་དེ་མརྒད་ཀྱིས་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་པ་དང་།

19 The foundation stones of the city wall were beautifully decorated with all kinds of gems: The first foundation was adorned with jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald;

 

20 ལྔ་པ་གཟིས་མཛེས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་པ་དང་།   དྲུག་པ་པད་མ་ར་ག་དང་།   བདུན་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་ལྗང་གསེར་དང་།

བརྒྱད་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་སྔོན་ལྗང་དང་།   དགུ་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་མཚོན་མདོག་འདྲ་མིན་ཡོད་པ་དང་། །བཅུ་

པ་གཡུ་དང་།   བཅུ་གཅིག་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་ཚ་ལུམ་དམར་པོ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།   བཅུ་གཉིས་པ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་མུ་

མེན་གྱིས་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་འདུག

20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.

 

21 རྒྱལ་སྒོ་བཅུ་གཉིས་དེ་ཚོ་མུ་ཏིག་ནས་བཟོས་འདུག   །རྒྱལ་སྒོ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་མུ་ཏིག་སྒང་ཚང་གཅིག་གིས་བཟོས་འདུག   །གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་རྒྱ་ལམ་ལྟེ་བ་དེ་གསེར་གཙོ་མ་ནས་བཟོས་འདུག   །དེ་དྭངས་མ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཡོད་ཙང་།   ཤེལ་ཕྱི་

གསལ་ནང་གསལ་བརྒྱུད་ནས་འོད་འཕྲོ་གི་ཡོད་པ་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག

21 The twelve gates were made of pearls – each gate was formed from a single pearl. And the main street of the city was pure gold. The gold – was so pure that light seemed to shine through it – just as it does through transparent glass.

 

22 ངས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནང་མཆོད་ཁང་མཐོང་མ་སོང༌། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   ཀུན་དབང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་

མཆོག་དང་ལུ་གུ་ [ཡེ་ཤུ་] ཁོང་དེའི་མཆོད་ཁང་རེད་འདུག

22 I did not see a temple building inside the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb [Jesus] are its temple.

 

23 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ལ་འོད་ཆེད་དུ་ཉི་མ་དང་ཡང་ན་ཟླ་བ་དགོས་ཀྱི་མི་འདུག   །གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།

དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཀྱི་འོད་དེའི་ཐོག་ལ་འཕྲོ་གི་འདུག   །ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ལ་འོད་

འཚེར་བ་བྱེད་མཁན་སྒྲོན་མེ་ཞིག་འདྲ་པོ་རེད་འདུག

23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the incomparable glorious light of God shines upon it. And the Lamb is like a lamp that illuminates the city.

 

24[དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བློས་བཀལ་བྱས་པའི་] རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚང་མའི་མི་ཚོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནས་འཕྲོ་གི་ཡོད་

པའི་འོད་ནང་གནས་ཀྱི་རེད།   ང་ཚོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནང་ཡོང་དུས་ས་གཞིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚོ་ཚང་མའི་དཔལ་དང་རྒྱུ་

ནོར་དེ་ (མངོན་གསལ་དོད་པོ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།)[མཆན་འགྲེལ།:   གསུང་རབ་ཀྱི་ཚིག་རྐང་གཞན་དག་ནང་

བལྟས་པ་ཡིན་ན།   དབང་སྒྱུར་བ་འདི་ཚོས་ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སྐུ་མདུན་ལ་གུས་འདུད་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་

ཁོང་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་གྱི་ཡིན་པ་དེ་མངོན་གསལ་དོད་པོ་རེད།]

24 The people from all the nations [who have put their trust in God] will live in the light that shines forth from the city. The splendour and wealth of all the kings of the earth (will be evident) as they come into the city. (Comment: from other Scriptural verses it is evident that these rulers will prostrate themselves in submission before Almighty God as an act of homage.)

 

25 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་དེ་ཚོ་དུས་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཕྱེ་ནས་བཞག་གི་རེད།   དེ་ཚོ་སྒོ་རྩ་བ་ནས་བརྒྱབ་ཀྱི་མ་རེད།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   དེར་མཚན་མོ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་མ་རེད།

25 The gates of the city will remain open all the time. They will never be closed, because there will be no night there.

 

26 རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚང་མ་ནས་མི་ཚོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནང་ཡོང་ནས་(ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་) གུས་འདུད་དང་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་གི་རེད།

26 And people from all the nations will come into the city and offer their homage and reverence (to Almighty God).

 

27[དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་] ངོས་ལེན་གནང་མི་འོས་པ་ག་འདྲ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནས་དེ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་

ནང་ཞུགས་ཆོག་གི་མ་རེད།   དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་རྫུན་ཤོད་མཁན་ཚོ་དང་།   ཡང་ན་ཞེན་ལོག་སྐྱེ་དགོས་པའི་

སྤྱོད་པ་སྤྱད་མཁན་ཚོ་ཡང་(གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནང་) ཞུགས་ཆོག་གི་མ་རེད།   ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གི་སྲོག་གི་གླེགས་བམ་ནང་

མིང་བཀོད་པ་ཚོ་གཅིག་པུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནང་ཞུགས་ཆོག་གི་རེད།

27 Nothing that is unacceptable[to God] will be allowed to enter the city. Neither will the people who tell lies or those who behave in a detestable manner be permitted to enter. Only those people whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be allowed to come into the city.

The Dragon [Satan] is Defeated and Bound for a Thousand Years

 

1 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ངས་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཞིག་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནས་མར་ཕེབས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་

གིས་རང་གི་ཕྱག་ནང་ལ་གཏིང་མཐའ་མེད་པའི་ས་དོང་གི་ལྡེ་མིག་དེ་དང༌།   ལྕགས་ཐག་ལྗིད་པོ་ཞིག་སྣོམ་

1 Then I [John] saw an angel coming down from Heaven. The angel was holding the key to the bottomless pit in his hand and he was carrying a heavy chain.

 

2 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་

འབྲུག་དེ་བཙན་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས་བསྡུས་ནས་དེ་ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་རིང་ལྕགས་ཐག་གིས་བསྡམས་གནང་སོང་།   [དངོས་གནས་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན།] འབྲུག་དེ་[ཨེ་ཌམ་དང་ཨིལྦ་ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་གཏོང་མཁན་]སྔ་མོའི་སྦྲུལ་དེ་རེད་

འདུག   [ཁོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་ཁོང་གི་མི་ཚོ་ལ་སྐུར་འདེབས་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་ཙང་] ཁོ་ལ་བདུད་ཟེར་ནས་

འབོད་ཀྱི་འདུག   ཁོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དགྲ་ཡིན་ཙང་] ཁོའི་མིང་ལ་] སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པའི་དཔོན་པོ་སེ་ཀྲེན་

ཡང་ཟེར་གྱི་འདུག

2 The angel overpowered the dragon and bound him with the chain for a thousand years. The dragon is that ancient serpent [which deceived Adam and Eve]. He is called the devil [because he slanders God and his people]. He is also called Satan [because he is God’s adversary].

 

3 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་འབྲུག་དེ་གཏིང་མཐའ་མེད་པའི་ས་དོང་ནང་གཡུགས་གནང་ནས་དེ་ལ་སྒོ་ལྕགས་

བརྒྱབ་གནང་པ་དང་ཐེལ་ཙེ་བསྐྱོན་སོང་།   འབྲུག་དེ་ས་དོང་དེ་ནང་ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་སྡད་དགོས་པ་བྱུང་

སོང་།   དུས་ཡུན་དེའི་རིང་ཁོས་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་གི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚོ་ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་གཏང་ཐུབ་ཀྱི་མ་རེད།   ཡིན་ན་

ཡང་ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་གི་རྗེས་ལ་ཁོ་དུ་ཚོད་ཐུང་ཐུང་ཞིག་གི་རིང་གློད་བཀྲོལ་གཏོང་དགོས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་རེད།

3 Then the angel threw the dragon into the bottomless pit and locked and sealed the door of the pit. The dragon had to remain in that abyss for a thousand years. During that time, he will not be able to deceive the nations of the world anymore. But after a thousand years, it is necessary that he will be released for a brief period of time.

The First Resurrection from Death

 

4 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ངས་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་འགའ་ཤས་མཐོང་པ་དང་།   དེ་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་མགོ་བཅད་པའི་མི་དེ་ཚོ་བསྡད་

འདུག   །ཁོང་ཚོས་ཡེ་ཤུའི་གནས་ཚུལ་བཟང་པོ་དེ་སྤེལ་བ་དང་།   མི་ཚོ་ལ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སྐོར་བཤད་པའི་

རྐྱེན་གྱིས་བགོ་བཅད་འདུག   །མི་འདི་ཚོས་གཅན་ཟན་དེ་དང་ཡང་ན་དེའི་འདྲ་བརྙན་ལ་མཆོད་མ་བྱས་པ་

དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་རང་གི་ཐོད་པ་དང་ཡང་ན་ལག་པ་ལ་གཅན་ཟན་དེའི་མཚོན་རྟགས་རྒྱབ་བཅུག་མ་སོང་།   ཁོང་ཚོ་འཆི་བ་ནས་ཡར་གསོན་ནས་ཁྲི་དེ་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་བསྡད་སོང་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་དབང་

སྒྱུར་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་དབང་ཆ་གནང་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བར་དུ་མ་ཤི་ཀ་མཉམ་དུ་དབང་སྒྱུར་བྱས་

སོང་།  

4 Then I [John] saw some thrones on which sat those who had been beheaded because they proclaimed the Good News of Jesus and told people about God. These people had not worshipped the beast or its statue, and they had refused to accept the mark of the beast on their foreheads or on their hands. They came back to life and sat on the thrones. God gave them the authority to rule and they reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years.

 

5 འདི་ནི་བསྐྱར་གསོན་

ཐོག་མ་དེ་རེད། (གཤིན་པོ་བྱིངས་དེ་ཚོ་ལོ་ཆིག་སྟོང་མ་རྫོགས་བར་དུ་བསྐྱར་གསོན་བྱུང་ཡོད་པ་མ་རེད།)

5 This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.)

 

6 དུས་ཚོད་འདི་ལ་འཆི་བ་ནས་གསོན་པོ་བསླང་གི་ཡིན་པའི་མི་ཚོའི་ཁོངས་སུ་འཚུད་པའི་མི་དེ་ཚོ་དངོས་གནས་

སྐྱིད་པོ་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མི་ཚོ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་འཆི་བ་གཉིས་པ་དེས་དབང་བྱེད་

ཐུབ་ཀྱི་མ་རེད། [ཁོང་ཚོ་མེའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་ནང་གཏན་གྱི་འཆི་བ་མྱོང་ཚོར་འབྱུང་གི་མ་རེད།]   ཡིན་ན་ཡང་

ཁོང་ཚོས་(མུ་མཐུད་ནས་) དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་མ་ཤི་ཀའི་བླ་ཆེན་གྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་ཞབས་ཏོག་ཞུ་གི་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོས་

ཁོང་མཉམ་དུ་ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་མང་པོ་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བསྐྱང་གི་རེད།

6 Those that are included among the ones who will be raised from death at the first resurrection are happy indeed. They are God’s people and the second death has no power over them. [They will not experience eternal death in the lake of fire]. But they will (continue) to serve as priests of God and of Christ [the Messiah]. And they will reign with him for a thousand years.

The Last Battle

 

7[ཞི་བདེའི་] ལོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་དེ་ཚང་དུས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་སེ་ཀྲེན་བསྡམས་ནས་བཞག་ཡོད་པའི་ལྕགས་

ཐག་དེ་བཀྲོལ་གནང་བ་དང་།   ཁོ་ [གཏིང་མཐའ་མེད་པའི་ས་དོང་དེའི་] བཙོན་ཁང་ ནས་གློད་གནང་

གི་རེད།

7 When the thousand years [of peace] have come to an end, the angel will loosen the chains that have bound Satan, and will release him from the prison [of the bottomless pit].

 

8[སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པའི་དཔོན་པོ་] ཁོས་ས་གཞི་ཕྱོགས་གང་སར་ཁ་འཐོར་བའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་དེ་ཚོའི་མི་ཚོ་ལ་མགོ་

སྐོར་གཏང་ག་འགྲོ་གི་རེད།   རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འདི་ཚོ་ལ་གོག་དང་མ་གོག་ཟེར་ནས་འབོད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་རེད།   སེ་ཀྲེན་

གྱིས་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ས་ཆ་ཞིག་ལ་རུབ་རུབ་བསྐོང་བ་དང་།   དེར་ཁོ་ཚོས་དམག་རྒྱབ་རྒྱུའི་ (གྲ་བསྒྲིག་བྱེད་ཀྱི་

རེད།) ཁོ་ཚོས་དམག་དཔུང་སྟོབས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་རུབ་རུབ་བཟོ་བ་དང་།   དེར་དམག་མི་མང་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་འབྱུང་

ནས་དེ་ཚོ་གྲངས་ཀ་རྒྱབ་ཐུབ་རྒྱུ་མི་སྲིད་པ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།

8 He [Satan] will go out to deceive the people of the nations who are scattered all over the earth. These nations are called Gog and Magog. Satan will bring them all together to a place where they will (prepare) for battle. They will form a mighty army and there will be so many soldiers it will be impossible to count them all.

 

9 དམག་མི་འདི་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་རུ་སྒྲིག་བཏང་ནས་ཕྱིན་ནས་ཐང་གཤོངས་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གི་སྒང་ལ་འཛེགས་སོང་།   ཁོ་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཐུགས་གཉེས་པོ་གནང་གི་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་གི་མི་ཚོ་སྡོད་སའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་

མཐའ་བསྐོར་སོང་།   དེ་ནས་ [དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་བར་ལ་འཚང་གནང་ནས་] ནམ་མཁའ་ནས་མེ་ཕབ་གནང་

སོང་།   དེ་རྒོལ་རྡུང་བྱེད་མཁན་དམག་མི་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མའི་ཐོག་ལ་མར་ཟགས་ནས་ཁོ་ཚོ་མེས་ཚིག་སོང་།

9 These soldiers marched together and ascended a broad expansive plain. They surrounded the city that God loves and where his people were living. Then [God intervened] and sent fire down from the sky. It came down upon all the attacking armies and consumed them.

 

10 དེ་ནས་ཁོང་ཚོ་

ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་གཏོང་མཁན་སེ་ཀྲེན་ཁོ་མུ་ཟེ་འབར་བཞིན་པའི་མཚོ་ནང་གཡུགས་སོང་།   དེར་ཁོ་གཅན་ཟན་དེ་

དང་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྫུས་མ་དེ་མཉམ་དུ་ཞུགས་པ་དང་།   ཁོ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཉིན་མཚན་མེད་པར་གཏན་དུ་སྡུག་

བསྔལ་མྱང་གི་རེད།

10 Then Satan who had deceived them was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulphur. There he joined the beast and the false prophet and they will all suffer day and night forever and ever.

 

ཞལ་ཆེ་མཐའ་མ།

The Final Judgment

 

11 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ངས་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་དཀར་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་དང༌།   དེའི་ཐོག་བཞུགས་མཁན་ཁོང་མཐོང་བྱུང༌།

[དཀོན་མཆོག་] གི་སྤྱན་སྔ་ནས་ས་གཞི་དང་ནམ་མཁའ་བྲོས་ནས་གཏན་དུ་ཡལ་སོང་།

11 Then I [John] saw a large white throne, and I saw the One who was sitting on it. The earth and the sky fled from his [God’s] presence and disappeared forever.

 

12 ངས་གཤིན་པོ་ཆེ་ཆུང་མེད་པ་གཉིས་ཀར་

[དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་] བཞུགས་ཁྲི་མདུན་ལ་ལངས་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང༌། དེ་ནས་[ཕོ་ཉ་དེ་ཚོས་] གླེགས་བམ་

དེ་ཚོ་ཁ་ཕྱེས་གནང་སོང་།   གླེགས་བམ་དེ་ཚོའི་ནང་མི་ཡོད་ཚད་ཚང་མས་བྱ་བ་ཡག་ཉེས་གང་བྱས་པ་ཚང་

མའི་ཟིན་ཐོ་བཀོད་འདུག   །དེ་ནས་སྲོག་གི་གླེགས་བམ་དེ་[ཡང་] ཁ་ཕྱེས་སོང་།   དེ་ནས་གླེགས་བམ་གཞན་

དག་ཅིག་ཁ་ཕྱེས་གནང་བ་དང་།   དེ་སྲོག་གི་གླེགས་བམ་རེད་འདུག   །དེ་ནང་དཀོན་མཆོག་མཉམ་དུ་གཏན་

དུ་གནས་ཀྱི་ཡིན་པའི་མི་དེ་ཚོའི་མིང་བཀོད་འདུག   །གླེགས་བམ་དེ་ཚོ་ནང་བཀོད་ཡོད་པ་ནང་བཞིན།   གཤིན་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མས་ག་རེ་བྱས་པ་ལ་གཞིགས་པའི་ཁོ་ཚོ་ལ་ཞལ་ཆེ་བཅད་གནང་སོང་།

12 I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before the throne [of God]. And the [angels] opened the books. The books contained a record of all the deeds – both good and bad – that every single person had done. Then the Book of Life was [also] opened. Then another book was opened which is the book of Life. It contained the names of all those who will live forever with God. And all the dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

 

13 དེ་ནས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་

ནང་དིམ་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་ [དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅད་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་] མཚོ་གཏིང་ནས་ཡར་བཏོན་གནང་

སོང་།   འཆི་བས་བཟུང་པ་དང་།   གཤིན་ཁམས་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་འཆི་བའི་དམ་ནས་བསྒྲལ་སོང་།   དེ་ནས་མི་(བྱེ་བྲག་སོ་སོར་) ཁོང་རང་ཚོས་དེ་སྔ་བྱ་བ་(ལེགས་ཉེས་) གང་བྱས་པ་ལ་དཔག་པའི་ཞལ་ཆེ་བཅད་

གནང་སོང་།

13 Then everyone who had drowned at sea was brought up from the depth of the sea [in order to be judged by God]. And all those held by Death as well as those in Hades (the realm of the dead) were delivered. And each person was judged (individually) according to their previous deeds (both good and bad).

 

14 དེ་ནས་འཆི་བ་དང་གཤིན་ཁམས་དེ་ཚོ་མེའི་མཚོ་ནང་གཡུགས་

སོང་།   མེའི་མཚོ་འདི་འཆི་བ་གཉིས་པ་དེ་རེད་འདུག

14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death.

 

15 སྲོག་གི་གླེགས་བམ་ནང་མིང་མ་འཁོད་པའི་མི་

ཚང་མ་མེའི་མཚོ་ནང་ལ་གཡུགས་སོང༌།

15 And anyone whose name was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
