ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (30) – Isaiah (30)

1  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བ།  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱར་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་སྐྱོངས་མཁན་ཚོ་འཇིགས་པར་འགྱུར།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  དེ་ཚོས་ང་ལ་ངོ་ལོག་བྱེད་ཡོད།  དེ་ཚོས་ངས་མ་བཟོས་པའི་འཆར་གཞིའི་རྗེས་སུ་འཇུག་པ་དང།  ངས་མི་འདོད་པའི་འཆིང་ཡིག་ལ་མིང་རྟགས་བཀོད་ནས་སྡིག་པ་གཅིག་གི་ཐོག་ཏུ་གཅིག་སྤུངས་ཡོད་དོ།

“Ah, stubborn children,” declares the Lord, “who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin;

2  དེ་ཚོས་ང་ལ་མ་དྲིས་པར་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་རོགས་རམ་སློང་བར་ཕྱིན་ཡོད།  དེ་ཚོས་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཚོར་སྐྱོབས་པའི་འདོད་པ་ཡོད།  དེ་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་དེ་ཚོས་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱིི་རྒྱལ་པོར་བློས་འགེལ་ཡོད།

who set out to go down to Egypt, without asking for my direction, to take refuge in the protection of Pharaoh and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!

3  འོན་ཀྱང་རྒྱལ་པོས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་རོགས་པ་བྱ་རྒྱུར་ནུས་ཤུགས་མེད་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང།  ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱི་སྲུང་སྐྱོབས་དེ་ནི་གནོད་སྐྱོན་ཆེན་པོར་འགྱུར་རོ།

Therefore shall the protection of Pharaoh turn to your shame, and the shelter in the shadow of Egypt to your humiliation.

4  དེ་ཚོའི་གཞུང་ཚབ་པ་ཨི་ཇིབ་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རྣམས་ཛོ་ཨན་དང་ཧ་ནེསེ་ལ་སླེབས་ཡོད་ན་ཡང།

For though his officials are at Zoan and his envoys reach Hanes,

5  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་པའི་མི་མང་རྣམས་ནས་དེ་ཚོ་ནམ་ཡང་བློས་འགལ་མེད་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་དེ་ལ་དགོས་པའི་སྐབས་ལ་རོགས་པ་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་མཁན་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཞིག་ལ་བློས་འགལ་བྱས་པར་འགྱོད་པ་བྱའོ།

everyone comes to shame through a people that cannot profit them, that brings neither help nor profit, but shame and disgrace.”

6  དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་བྱེད་ཐང་གི་སེམས་ཅན་ཚོའི་སྐོར་ལ་གསུང་འཕྲིན་གནང་བ་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན།  གཞུང་ཚབ་པ་ཚོ་ཉེན་ཁ་ཅན་གྱི་ཡུལ་སེང་གེ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གནས་ཡུལ་དང་དུག་སྦྲུལ་རྣམས་དང་འཕུར་བའི་འབྲུག་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གནས་ཡུལ་བརྒྱུད་འགྲུལ་བཞུད་བྱེད་དགོས་པས། དེ་ཚོས་བུང་བུ་དང་རྔ་མོང་རྣམས་ལ་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་རོགས་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་མཁན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚོ་ལ་འབུལ་རྒྱུའི་རིན་ཐང་ཅན་གྱི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་བཀལ་ཡོད་དོ།

An oracle on the beasts of the Negeb. Through a land of trouble and anguish, from where come the lioness and the lion, the adder and the flying fiery serpent, they carry their riches on the backs of donkeys, and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people that cannot profit them.

7  ཨི་ཇིབ་ཡུལ་གྱི་རོགས་པ་བྱེད་པ་དེ་ཕན་མེད་ཡིན།  དེ་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་ངས་ཨི་ཇིབ་ལ་གནོད་སྐྱོན་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་པའི་འབྲུག་ཅེས་མིང་ལྡོག་བཏགས་ཡོད་ཅེས་སོ༎

Egypt’s help is worthless and empty; therefore I have called her  “Rahab who sits still.”

8  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་མང་རྣམས་ཇི་ལྟར་ངན་པ་ཡོད་པའི་ལོ་རྒྱུས་དེ་གཏན་འཇགས་ཡོང་བའི་ཆེད་ང་ལ་མི་མང་རྣམས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡོད་སྐོར་དེབ་ཞིག་འབྲི་དགོས་པའི་བཀའ་གནང་བྱུང།

And now, go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it in a book, that it may be for the time to come as a witness forever.

9  དེ་ཚོ་ནི་རྟག་ཏུ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་ངོ་ལོག་རྒྱབ་མཁན་དང་རྫུན་ཤོད་མཁན་དང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སློབ་སྟོན་ལ་རྟག་ཏུ་མི་ཉན་མཁན་འབའ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནོ།

For they are a rebellious people, lying children, children unwilling to hear the instruction of the Lord;

10  དེ་ཚོས་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོར་ཁ་རོག་སྡོད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོས་ང་ཚོ་དྲང་པོ་ཇི་ཡིན་སྐོར་མ་ཤོད་ཅིག།  ང་ཚོ་ལ་ཉན་འདོད་ཇི་ཡོད་པ་རྣམས་ཤོད་ཅིག།  ང་ཚོས་ང་ཚོའི་སྒྱུ་མ་ཉར་བར་བྱའོ།

who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right; speak to us smooth things, prophesy illusions,

11  ང་ཚོའི་ལམ་ནས་ཕར་སོང་ཞིག་དང།  ང་ཚོའི་ལམ་འགོག་རྒྱུ་ལ་མཚམས་འཇོག་བྱོས་ཤིག།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་དམ་པའི་སྐོར་ང་ཚོ་ལ་ཉན་འདོད་མེད་ཅེས་སོ།

leave the way, turn aside from the path, let us hear no more about the Holy One of Israel.”

12  འོན་ཀྱང་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དམ་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བ་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ངས་སྨྲས་པར་བརྩི་མེད་བྱས་པ་དང་ཟིང་འཁྲུགས་དང་བསླུ་འཁྲིད་ལ་བློ་བཅོལ་ཡོད་པས།

Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, “Because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and rely on them,

13  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཉེས་ཅན་ཡིན། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལྕགས་རི་མཐོ་པོ་ལ་མར་སེར་ག་གས་ནས་ཡོད་པ་དང་འདྲ་བས་བློ་བུར་དུ་བཞིགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

therefore this iniquity shall be to you like a breach in a high wall, bulging out and about to collapse, whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant;

14  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རྫའི་ཁོག་མ་ལྟར་དུམ་བུ་དུམ་བུར་ཆགས་པ་དང་།  དེ་བཞིན་ཧ་ཅང་ངན་པར་ཆགས་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱི་རྡོ་སོལ་ཚ་པོ་ལེན་པའམ་ཆུ་དོང་ནས་ཆུ་བཅུས་ནུས་པ་ཆགས་དུམ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་མ་རྙེད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

and its breaking is like that of a potter’s vessel that is smashed so ruthlessly that among its fragments not a shard is found with which to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.”

15  བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དམ་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  ཚུར་ཤོག་ལ་ལྷོད་ལྷོད་བྱེད་ནས་ང་ལ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བརྟན་པོ་བྱོས་ཤིག  དེ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་དང་བརྟན་པར་འགྱར་རོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ།  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེ་ལྟར་བྱ་རྒྱུར་ངོས་ལེན་མི་བྱེད་དོ།

For thus said the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” But you were unwilling,

16  དེའི་ཚབ་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རྟ་མགྱོགས་པོའི་སྟེང་ཞོན་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དགྲ་བོ་ལས་བྲོས་པའི་འཆར་གཞི་བཟོའོ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བྲོས་ཐབས་བྱེད་དགོས་པ་དེ་བདེན་པ་ཡིན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་བསམ་པར་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་རྟ་དེ་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཡོད་བསམ་གྱི་ཡོད་དོ།  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་དེད་མཁན་ཚོ་དེ་བས་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཡོད་དོ།

and you said, “No! We will flee upon horses”; therefore you shall flee away; and, “We will ride upon swift steeds”; therefore your pursuers shall be swift.

17  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དགྲ་བོའི་དམག་མི་གཅིག་མཐོང་སྐབས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཆིག་སྟོང་ཐམ་པ་བྲོས་པ་དང། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་བྲོས་རྒྱུ་བཟོ་བར་དམག་མི་ལྔ་ལས་མི་དགོས་སོ།  རི་བོའི་སྟེང་དུ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དམག་དཔུང་ལ་དར་ཆ་གཅིག་རང་གི་གདུང་མ་མ་གཏོགས་གཞན་གང་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ།

A thousand shall flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you shall flee, till you are left like a flagstaff on the top of a mountain, like a signal on a hill.

18  ཡིན་ན་ཡང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོས་སྒུག་ནས།  ཁོང་གི་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་མཛད་རྒྱུར་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་ཡོད་དོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན། ཁོང་གིས་རྟག་ཏུ་དྲང་བདེན་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་གནང་ངོ།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་རང་ལ་བློ་བཅོལ་མཁན་ཚོ་དགའ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ༎

Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

19  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་དུ་སྡོད་མཁན་ཚོ་ད་ནས་བཟུང་ངུ་བར་མི་བྱའོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་ཡིན་པ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་སྐྱབས་རོགས་ཆེད་འབོད་བསྐུལ་ཞུས་པ་ཡིན་ན་ཁོང་གི་དེ་གསན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

For a people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you.

20  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་རང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དཀའ་ངལ་ངང་དུ་ལྷུང་བཅུག་པ་གནང་ན་ཡང།  ཁོང་རང་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སློབ་སྟོན་གནང་བ་དེར་ཡོད་པ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཁོང་སླར་ཡང་ཚོལ་མི་དགོས་སོ།

And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.

21  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལམ་གྱི་གཡས་སམ་གཡོན་གང་དུ་འགྲུལ་ཡང།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རྒྱབ་ནས་ལམ་འདིར་ཡོད་པས་དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཤོག་ཅེས་ཁོང་གིས་གསུངས་པ་ཐོས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

22  ཁྱོད་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྐུ་འདྲ་དངུལ་གྱི་བླུག་པ་དང་གསེར་གྱི་བཀབ་པའི་སྐུ་འདྲ་བླངས་ནས་དེ་ཚོ་གྲིབ་ཅན་བཙོག་པ་བཞིན་དབྱུགས་པ་དང་ངའི་མཐོང་སར་ནས་ཕར་རྒྱུགས་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་པར་བྱའོ།

Then you will defile your carved idols overlaid with silver and your gold-plated metal images. You will scatter them as unclean things. You will say to them, “Be gone!”

23  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ས་བོན་ནམ་འདེབས་སྐབས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ཚོ་སྐྱེས་བར་ཆར་པ་འབེབས་གནང་བ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ལ་སྟོན་ཐོག་ཧ་ཅང་མང་པོ་ཡོང་བ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕྱུགས་ཚོར་རྩ་ཁ་ཧ་ཅང་འབོལ་པོ་ཡོང་ངོ།

And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures,

24  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བ་གླང་དང་བོང་བུ་ས་ཞིང་རྨོ་མཁན་རྣམས་རྩ་ཆག་བཟང་ཤོས་ཟ་བར་བྱའོ།

and the oxen and the donkeys that work the ground will eat seasoned fodder, which has been winnowed with shovel and fork.

25  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དགྲ་བོ་ཚོའི་མཁར་རྫོང་བཟུང་བ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་མི་རྣམས་གསོད་པའི་ཉིན་མོ་དེར་རི་མཐོ་པོ་ཚང་མ་དང་རི་ཆུང་ཚང་མ་ནས་རྒྱུག་ཆུའི་ཆུ་བོ་རྒྱུགས་པར་བྱའོ།

And on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

26  ཟླ་བ་ཉི་མ་ལྟར་གསལ་བ་དང་ཉི་མ་ནམ་རྒྱུན་ལས་ལྡབ་བདུན་གྱིས་གསལ་བ་དང།  ཉིན་བདུན་གྱི་འོད་ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ལ་འཚེར་བ་ལྟར་བྱུང་བར་འགྱུར།  དེ་ཚོ་རྣམས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་གི་མི་མང་རྣམས་ལ་རྨ་བཟོས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་རྨ་རས་དཀྲི་གནང་ནས་གསོ་གནང་སྐབས་འབྱུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ༎

Moreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when the Lord binds up the brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow.

27  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཐུ་སྟོབས་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཐག་རིང་པོར་མཐོང་བ་དང།  མེ་དང་དུ་བས་སྒོ་ནས་ཁོང་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་བ་ཤེས་སོ།  ཁོང་གི་བཀའ་དང་ཚིག་རྣམས་མེ་ལྟར་ཚིགས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar, burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke; his lips are full of fury, and his tongue is like a devouring fire;

28  ཁོང་གིས་རླུང་ནི་ཆུ་ལོག་གིས་ཚང་མ་འཁྱེར་བ་ལྟར་གཏོང་གནང་ངོ།  དེས་མི་རིགས་རྣམས་འཕྱགས་ནས་འཇིགས་པ་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་འཆར་གཞི་ངན་པ་རྣམས་མཐའ་མར་འགྱུར་བར་བྱའོ།

his breath is like an overflowing stream that reaches up to the neck; to sift the nations with the sieve of destruction, and to place on the jaws of the peoples a bridle that leads astray.

29  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མི་མང་རྣམས་དམ་པའི་དུས་སྟོན་གྱི་མཚན་མོར་བྱེད་པ་ལྟར་དགའ་ཞིང་གཞས་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད་དོ།  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་སྐྱོབ་པ་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཆོད་ཁང་གི་ལམ་དུ་གླིང་བུའི་རོལ་ཆའི་སྒྲ་ལ་འགྲོ་མཁན་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དགའ་སྤྲོ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

You shall have a song as in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart, as when one sets out to the sound of the flute to go to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.

30  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གི་དཔའ་བརྗིད་ཅན་གྱི་གསུང་དེ་ཚང་མར་གོ་བཅུག་པ་དང། ཁོང་གི་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་བའི་ནུས་ཤུགས་འཚོར་བར་མཛད་དོ།  དེར་མེ་ལྕེ་དང་གློག་འཁྱུགས་པ་དང་སེར་བ་དང་ཆར་རླུང་དྲག་པོ་འོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།

And the Lord will cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst and storm and hailstones.

31  ཨ་སུར་པ་རྣམས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་གསུང་ཐོས་པ་དང།  ཁོང་གི་ཆད་པ་གཏོང་བའི་ནུས་པ་འཚོར་བ་དང་འཇིགས་ཤིང་སྐྲག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

The Assyrians will be terror-stricken at the voice of the Lord, when he strikes with his rod.

32  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ཡང་ཡང་རྡུང་གནང་སྐབས།  ཁོང་གི་མི་མང་ཚོས་རྔ་རྣམས་དང་པི་ཝང་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རོལ་ཆས་དང་མཉམ་དུ་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར།  དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཨ་སུར་པ་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འཐབ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

And every stroke of the appointed staff that the Lord lays on them will be to the sound of tambourines and lyres. Battling with brandished arm, he will fight with them.

33  དུས་ཡུན་རིང་པོའི་སྔོན་ལ་མེ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གིས་ཨ་སུར་གྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བསྲེག་ཡུལ་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་བྱས་ཡོད།  དེ་ནི་ཧ་ཅང་གཏིང་རིང་པོ་དང་ཞེང་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  དེར་བུད་ཤིང་ཧ་ཅང་མཐོ་པོ་རྩིག་པ་ཞིག་ཡོད།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ལྗགས་དབུགས་ཀྱིས་མེ་ལྕེའི་རྒྱུག་ཆུ་དེར་མེ་སྤར་བར་མཛད་དོ༎

For a burning place[e] has long been prepared; indeed, for the king it is made ready, its pyre made deep and wide, with fire and wood in abundance; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of sulfur, kindles it.

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (29) – Isaiah (29)

1  དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཆོག་ཁྲི་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་དེ་ཉིད་འཇིགས་ཡོད།  དཱ་བིད་ཀྱིས་སྒར་བརྒྱབ་ནས་བསྡད་ཡོད་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་འཇིགས་ཡོད།  ལོ་གཅིག་གཉིས་ཀྱི་རིང་དེ་ཚོའི་དུས་སྟོན་གྱི་ཐུགས་སྤྲོ་འཁོར་བར་བཅུག་ཅིིག།

Ah, Ariel, Ariel, the city where David encamped! Add year to year; let the feasts run their round.

2  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཆོད་ཁྲི་ཞེས་པའི་གྲོང་ཁེར་ལ་རྐྱེན་ངན་བསྣམས་ཕེབས་ཡོང། དེར་ངུ་འབོད་དང་མྱ་ངན་ཡོང་བ་དང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་ཁྲག་གིས་བཀབ་པའི་མཆོད་ཁྲི་ལྟར་འགྱུར་རོ།

Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be moaning and lamentation, and she shall be to me like an Ariel.

3  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ལ་འཐབ་གནང་བ་དང་དེའི་ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་བཀག་ནས་མཐར་བསྐོར་གནང་ངོ།

And I will encamp against you all around, and will besiege you with towers and I will raise siegeworks against you.

4  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་དེ་བཞིན་གདོང་འདྲེ་སའི་འོག་ནས་སྐད་ཆ་ཤོད་པར་འཐབ་རྩོད་བྱ་མཁན་དང་རྡུལ་གྱི་ནང་ནས་སྐད་ཙི་རེ་རེ་འཐོན་མཁན་ལྟ་བུར་འགྱུར་རོ།

And you will be brought low; from the earth you shall speak, and from the dust your speech will be bowed down; your voice shall come from the ground like the voice of a ghost, and from the dust your speech shall whisper.

5  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ཁྱོད་ལ་འཐབ་མཁན་གྱི་ཕྱི་རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་རྡུལ་ལྟར་འཁྱེར་བ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་འཇིགས་སུ་རུང་བའི་དམག་དཔུང་རྣམས་སོག་མ་ལྟར་ཕྱིར་འཕུར་རོ།  མ་བསམ་པའི་དུས་དང་བློ་བུར་དུ།

But the multitude of your foreign foes shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the ruthless like passing chaff. And in an instant, suddenly,

6  ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་འབྲུག་སྒྲའི་རླུང་འཚུབ་དྲག་པོ་དང་ས་གཡོམ་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྐྱབས་པར་འགྱུར།  ཁོང་གིས་རླུང་འཚུབ་དྲག་པོ་དང་མེ་ལྕེ་དྲག་པོར་འབར་བ་གཏོང་གནང་ངོ།

you will be visited by the Lord of hosts with thunder and with earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

7  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཆོད་ཁྲིའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ལ་འཐབ་མཁན་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་དམག་དཔུང་རྣམས་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་གོ་མཚོན་དང་ཅ་དངོས་ཚང་མ་རྨི་ལམ་བཞིན་མཚན་གྱི་དམིགས་སྣང་བཞིན་ཡལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།

And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, all that fight against her and her stronghold and distress her, shall be like a dream, a vision of the night.

8  ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་ལ་འཐབ་པར་འཛོམས་མཁན་མི་རིགས་ཡོངས་འཛོགས་གྲོད་པ་ལྟོགས་པའི་མི་ཞིག་གིས་རྨི་ལམ་དུ་ཟས་ཟ་བ་རྨིས་པའི་དཔེ་ལྟར།  གཉིད་སད་སྐབས་སུ་ལྟོགས་པ་རང་ཡིན་ནོ། ཡང་ན་ཁ་སྐོམ་ནས་ཤི་གྲབ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཞིག་གིས་རྨི་ལམ་དུ་ཆུ་འཐུང་བ་བཞིན་ཡོད་པའི་དཔེ་ལྟར།  ཁོ་གཉིད་སད་སྐབས་སུ་མིག་པ་སྐམ་པོར་ཡོད་པ་དང་འདྲའོ༎

As when a hungry man dreams, and behold, he is eating, and awakes with his hunger not satisfied, or as when a thirsty man dreams, and behold, he is drinking, and awakes faint, with his thirst not quenched, so shall the multitude of all the nations be that fight against Mount Zion.

9  ད་དུང་གླེན་པར་འགྱུར་ཅིག།  ད་དུང་ལོང་བར་འགྱུར་ཅིག།  རྒུན་ཆང་མེད་པར་ར་བཟི་ཤིག།  ཐིག་པ་གཅིག་མ་འཐུང་བར་གོམ་པ་འཁྱོར་ཞིག

Astonish yourselves and be astonished; blind yourselves and be blind! Be drunk, but not with wine; stagger, but not with strong drink!

10  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་གཉིད་ཀྱི་བཟི་བཅུག་གནང་ཡོད།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གཉིད་ལྗིད་པོ་ཁུག་གྲབ་ཡོད།  ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྣམས་མི་ཚོ་མིག་བྱུང་དགོས།  འོན་ཀྱང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ཚོའི་མིག་རས་གཡོག་གནང་ཡོད་དོ།

For the Lord has poured out upon you a spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes (the prophets), and covered your heads (the seers).

11  ལུང་བསྟན་རེ་རེའི་ཞལ་གཟིགས་ཀྱི་དོན་རྣམས་དམ་ཕྲུག་རྒྱབ་པའི་ཤོག་གྲིལ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ནས་གསང་བར་བཞག་ཡོད།  གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་དེ་ཀློག་ཤེས་མཁན་གྱི་མི་ཞིག་གི་སར་འཁྱེར་ནས་དེ་ལ་ཀློག་རོགས་བརྗོད་པ་ཡིན་ན།  ཁོས་ངས་དེ་ཀློག་མི་ཐུབ་བོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  དེ་ལ་དམ་ཕྲུག་རྒྱབ་འདུག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ཡོང།

And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.”

12  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཀློག་མི་ཤེས་མཁན་ཞིག་གི་སར་འཁྱེར་ནས།  ཁོ་ལ་དེ་ཀློག་རོགས་ལབ་པ་ཡིན་ན།  ཁོས་ངས་ཀློག་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མེད་ཅེས་ལན་རྒྱབ་ཡོང།

And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.”

13  གཙོ་བོས་བཀའ་གནང་བ།  མི་མང་དེ་ཚོས་ང་ལ་མཆོད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་བརྗོད་ཀྱང།  དེ་ཚོའི་ཚིག་ལ་དོན་མེད་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་སེམས་ནི་གཞན་དུ་ཡོད་པ་དང།  དེ་ཚོའི་ཆོས་ནི་ངག་ཐོག་ཟིན་པའི་འགྲོ་བ་མིའི་ཁྲིམས་ལུགས་ལས་གཞན་མེད་དོ།

And the Lord said: “Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men,

14  དེ་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་ངས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་གློ་བུར་དུ་གཅིག་འཇུག་གཉིས་འཇུག་ཀྱིས་དཀྲོགས་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དང།  ཤེས་རབ་ཅན་རྣམས་བླུན་པོར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་ཤེས་རབ་རྣམས་ཕན་ཐོགས་མེད་པར་འགྱུར༎

therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.”

15  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནས་རང་གི་འཆར་གཞི་རྣམས་སྦས་ཐབས་བྱ་མཁན་རྣམས་མེད་པར་འགྱུར།  དེ་ཚོའི་འཆར་གཞི་རྣམས་གསང་བའི་ཐོག་བྱས་ནས།  དེ་ནི་སུས་ཀྱང་མཐོང་གི་མེད་པ་དང་དེ་ཚོས་བྱས་པ་རྣམས་སུས་ཀྱངཤེས་ཀྱི་མེད་བསམ་གྱི་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

Ah, you who hide deep from the Lord your counsel, whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us? Who knows us?”

16  དེ་ཚོས་ལས་ཚང་མ་འགོ་འཇུག་རློག་པ་དང།  རྫ་མཁན་དང་རྫ་ས་གཉིས་ནས་སུ་གལ་ཆེའམ།  དངོས་གང་ཞིག་གིས་དེས་བཟོས་མཁན་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ང་ལ་བཟོས་པ་མ་ཡིན།  ཡང་ན་དེས་ཁོ་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཇི་བྱེད་པ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་མི་འདུག་ཅེས་བརྗོད་ཐུབ་བམ།

You turn things upside down! Shall the potter be regarded as the clay, that the thing made should say of its maker, “He did not make me”; or the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”?

17  ཤོད་སྲོལ་ལ་ཡུན་རིང་མ་སོང་བའི་སྔོན་དུ་ཤིང་ནགས་སྟུག་པོ་དེ་ཞིང་ཁའི་ས་ཆར་འགྱུར་ཐུབ་པ་དང།  ཞིང་ཁའི་ས་ཆ་དེ་ཤིང་ནགས་སུ་འགྱུར་ཐུབ་ཅེས་སོ།

Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest?

18  ཉིན་དེ་སླེབས་སྐབས།  འོན་པས་ཁོའི་མདུན་དུ་སྐད་ཆེན་པོས་དེབ་ཀློག་པ་ཐོས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང།  ནག་ཁུང་ནང་སྡོད་མཁན་ལོང་བ་དེ་ཚོས་མིག་ཕྱེ་ནས་མཐོང་ངོ།

In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.

19  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དམ་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གནང་བའི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་སྐྱོ་པོ་དང་ཉམ་ཆུང་གི་མི་མང་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སླར་ཡང་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the Lord, and the poor among mankind shall exult in the Holy One of Israel.

20  དེ་ནི་གཞན་ལ་མནར་གཅོད་གཏོང་མཁན་དང་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་འཕྱ་མཁན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མཐའ་མ་ཡིན་ནོ།  སྡིག་ཅན་ཚང་མ་མེད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།

For the ruthless shall come to nothing and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off,

21  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གཞན་ལ་སྨད་མཁན་དང།  ཉེས་ཅན་ལ་ཁྲིམས་གཅོད་བྱ་རྒྱུར་བཀའ་འགོག་བྱ་མཁན་དང།  མི་དྲང་པོར་བདེན་པ་ཐོབ་རྒྱུ་དེ་ལ་འགོག་པར་རྫུན་ཤོད་མཁན་རྣམས་མེད་པར་བཟོ་གནང་ངོ།

who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right.

22  དེར་བརྟེན་ད་ལྟ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་ལ་དཀའ་ངལ་ལས་སྐྱོབས་གནང་མཁན།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གསུངས་པ།  ངའི་མི་མང་ཚོ།  ད་དུང་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་དམའ་འབེབས་མི་ཡོང་བ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་གདོང་པ་ངོ་ཚས་སེར་པོར་ནམ་ཡང་འགྱུར་མི་ཡོང།

Therefore thus says the Lord, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no more be ashamed, no more shall his face grow pale.

23  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུའི་ཕྲུ་གུ་ཚོ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་མཐོང་སྐབས།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་དམ་པ་ཡིན་པར་ཁས་ལེན་བྱེད་ཡོང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ལ་གུས་བཀུར་ཞུ་བ་དང་ཟིལ་གྱིས་གནོན་པར་བྱེད་དོ།

For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob and will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

24  མི་གླེན་པ་ཚོས་ཧ་གོ་བ་ཤེས་པ་དང།  རྟག་ཏུ་རྙོག་དྲ་བཤད་མཁན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སློབ་སྟོན་བྱ་བ་ལ་དགའ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ༎

And those who go astray in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.”

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ (28) – Isaiah (28)

1  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འཇིགས་སོ།  དེའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་ནི་ར་བཟི་བའི་འགོ་འཛིན་གྱི་མགོ་ལ་ཡོད་པའི་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཅོད་པན་ལྟར་ཡལ་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དེ་ཚོའི་ང་རྒྱལ་ཅན་གྱི་མགོ་བོ་རྣམས་དྲི་ཞིམ་ལེགས་པར་བྱུག་ཡོད་ན་ཡང་དེར་དེ་ཚོ་ཚོད་མེད་ར་བཟི་ནས་ཉལ་ཡོད་དོ།

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

2  གཙོ་བོས་དེ་ཚོར་རྒོལ་ཕྱིར་སྟོབས་དང་ནུས་ཤུགས་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་ཡོད་དོ། ཁོ་ནི་སེར་བའི་རླུང་འཚུབ་དང་།  ཆར་ཤོད་དྲག་པོ་དང་རྒྱུགས་པའི་ཆུ་ལོག་དྲག་པོ་ལྟར་ཡོང་ནས་ཡུལ་དབང་དུ་སྡུད་པར་འགྱུར།

Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong; like a storm of hail, a destroying tempest, like a storm of mighty, overflowing waters, he casts down to the earth with his hand.

3  ར་བཟིའི་འགོ་འཁྲིད་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ང་རྒྱལ་དེ་རྐང་པའི་འོག་ཏུ་བརྫི་བར་བྱའོ།

The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden underfoot;

4  ང་རྒྱལ་ཅན་གྱི་འགོ་འཁྲིད་ཚོའི་ཉམ་རྒུད་འགྱུར་བཞིན་པའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་དེ་ནམ་དུས་སུ་ཤར་བ་དང་སྨིན་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་སྒྲུག་ནས་ཟ་བའི་སེ་ཡབ་སྔོན་མ་བཞིན་ཡལ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།

and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley, will be like a first-ripe fig before the summer: when someone sees it, he swallows it as soon as it is in his hand.

5  ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་རང་གི་མི་མང་གསོན་པོ་གནས་པ་ཚོའི་ཆད་དུ་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཅན་གྱི་མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཅོད་པན་དུ་འགྱུར་བའི་ཉིན་ཞིག་ཡོང་བཞིན་ཡོད་དོ།

In that day the Lord of hosts will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of his people,

6  ཁོང་གིས་ཁྲིམས་དཔོན་གྱི་ལས་འགན་ཡོད་པ་ཚོར་དྲང་བདེན་གྱི་བློ་གྲོས་གནང་བ་དང། བཙན་འཛུལ་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་རྒྱལ་སྒོ་སྲུང་མཁན་ཚོར་བློ་སྟོབས་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ༎

and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

7  ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་དང་བླ་མ་ཚོ་ཡང་ཧ་ཅང་ར་བཟི་ཡོད་སྟབས་ཕར་ཚུར་འཁྱོར་བར་བྱེད། དེ་ཚོས་ཆང་དང་ཨ་རག་ཧ་ཅང་མང་པོ་འཐུང་ཡོད་སྟབས་མགོ་འཐོམས་ཤིང་འགྱེལ་བར་བྱེད། ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྣམས་ཧ་ཅང་ར་བཟི་ཡོད་སྟབས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གནང་བའི་ཞལ་གཟིགས་རྣམས་ཧ་གོ་རྒྱུ་བྲལ་བ་དང།  བླ་མ་ཚོ་ཡང་ཧ་ཅང་ར་བཟི་ཡོད་སྟབས་དེ་ཚོའི་སར་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་བའི་ཁ་མཆུ་ཐག་གཅོད་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་བོ།

These also reel with wine and stagger with strong drink; the priest and the prophet reel with strong drink, they are swallowed by wine, they stagger with strong drink, they reel in vision, they stumble in giving judgment.

8  དེ་ཚོ་བསྡད་པའི་རྒྱ་ལྕོག་རྣམས་སྐྱུགས་པས་ཁེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང་གཙང་བའི་གནས་གང་ཡང་ལྷག་མེད་དོ།

For all tables are full of filthy vomit, with no space left.

9  དེ་ཚོས་ངའི་སྐོར་ལ་སྐྱོན་བརྗོད་བྱེད་དོ།  དེ་ཚོས་ཁོང་གི་སུ་ལ་སློབ་སྟོན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་བསམ་གྱི་ཡོད་དམ། ཁོང་གི་གསུང་འཕྲིན་དེ་སུ་ལ་དགོས་སམ།  དེ་ནི་ཕྲུ་གུ་འོ་ཐག་བཅད་ཙམ་གྱི་དོན་ལ་ཡིན་ནོ།

“To whom will he teach knowledge, and to whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, those taken from the breast?

10  ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོར་ཡི་གེ་རེ་རེ་དང་ཐིག་རེ་རེ་དང་སློབ་ཚན་རེ་བཞིན་སློབ་ཐབས་གནང་བཞིན་ཡོད་ཅེས་སྨྲ་བཞིན་ཡོད་དོ།

For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”

11  གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ང་ལ་མི་ཉན་པ་ཡིན་ན།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཕྱི་རྒྱལ་བའི་མི་རིགས་ཚོས་ང་ཚོར་སློབ་སྟོན་བྱེད་པའི་ཆེད་སྐད་སྒྲའི་མདངས་ཁྱད་ཚར་རྒྱབ་མཁན་ཚོ་བེད་སྤྱོད་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།

For by people of strange lips and with a foreign tongue the Lord will speak to this people,

12  ཁོང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཚང་མར་ངལ་གསོ་དང་སེམས་གསོ་གནང་ཡོད་ཀྱང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཁོང་གི་བཀའ་ལ་ཉན་འགྱུར་ངོས་ལེན་མི་བྱེད་དོ།

to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.

13  དེའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ཡི་གེ་རེ་རེ་དང་ཐིག་རེ་རེ་དང་སློབ་ཚན་རེ་རེ་བཞིན་སློབ་པར་གནང་ཡོང།  དེ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གོམ་པ་རེ་རེ་སྤོས་ཚད་འགྱེལ་བར་འགྱུར། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རྨས་པ་དང་རྙིད་ནང་ཚུད་པ་དང་བཙོན་དུ་བཟུང་བར་བྱའོ༎

And the word of the Lord will be to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

14  ད་དེར་ཡེ་རུ་ཤ་ལེམ་འདིའི་ནང་མི་མང་གི་སྟེང་དུ་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བཟུང་མཁན་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གཏམ་འདོད་ཅན་གྱི་མི་རྣམས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཇི་ལྟར་བཀའ་གནང་བ་བཞིན་ཡོད་པར་ཉོན་ཞིག

Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scoffers, who rule this people in Jerusalem!

15  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འཆི་བ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཆིང་སྒྲིགས་དང།  གཤིན་པོའི་གླིང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཁ་ཆད་བྱས་པར་རང་ངོམ་བྱེད་དོ། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་བདེ་བར་ཡོང་བའི་ཆེད་རྫུན་དང་བསླུ་འཁྲིད་ལ་བློས་འགེལ་བྱས་ཡོད་སྟབས།  རྐྱེན་ངན་འབྱུང་སྐབས་དེས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་སྐྱོབས་པར་ཡིད་ཆེས་བྱེད་དོ།

Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement, when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter”;

16  ད་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བཀའ་གནང་བ་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན།  ངས་ཛི་ཡོན་ལ་རྨང་གཞི་བརྟན་པོ་དང་སྟོབས་ཤུགས་ཅན་ཞིག་གཏིང་བཞིན་ཡོད།  དེར་ངས་ཟུར་རྡོ་མཁྲེགས་པོ་ཞིག་བཞག་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པས་དེའི་སྟེང་དུ་དད་པ་བརྟན་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དེ་བཟོད་སྲན་ཡང་ཡིན་ཞེས་པའི་ཚིག་རྣམས་འབྲི་བར་བྱའོ།

therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation:  ‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’

17  ཁྲིམས་དྲང་ནི་རྨང་གཞིའི་འཇལ་བའི་ཐིག་ཚད་དང་དྲང་པོ་ནི་དེའི་ཚད་རྡོ་ཡིན་ནོ། སེར་བའི་རླུང་འཚུབ་ཀྱིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བློས་འགེལ་བྱེད་པའི་རྫུན་རྣམས་འཁྱེར་བ་དང།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་ནི་ཆུ་ལོག་གིས་མེད་པར་བཟོའོ།

And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter.”

18  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འཆི་བ་མཉམ་དུ་བཞག་པའི་ཆིང་སྒྲིགས་དེ་མེད་པར་བཟོ་བ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གཤིན་པོའི་གླིང་མཉམ་དུ་བཞག་པའི་ཁ་ཆད་དེ་ཕྱིར་འཐེན་པར་འགྱུར།  རྐྱེན་ངན་ལེབས་དུས་དེས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་འཕམ་པར་འགྱུར།

Then your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through, you will be beaten down by it.

19  དེས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་སྔ་དྲོ་རེ་རེ་བཞིན་ཡང་ཡང་བརྡུང་བར་བྱའོ།  དེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཉིན་མཚན་མེད་པར་མྱོང་དགོས།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གསུང་འཕྲིན་གསར་པ་རེ་རེས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་གསར་པ་རེ་འབྱུང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།

As often as it passes through it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be sheer terror to understand the message.

20  ཁྱོད་ནི་གཏམ་དཔེ་ནང་གི་མི་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ནི་མལ་ཁྲི་ཧ་ཅང་ཐུང་ཐུང་ཡོད་པའི་སྟེང་དུ་རྐང་ལག་བརྐྱངས་ནས་ཉལ་ཐབས་བྱ་མཁན་བཞིན།  ཧ་ཅང་ཆུང་བའི་མལ་གོས་ཀྱི་ལུས་བཏུམ་ཐབས་བྱ་མཁན་ལྟ་བུར་འགྱུར་རོ།

For the bed is too short to stretch oneself on, and the covering too narrow to wrap oneself in.

21  རི་བོ་པེ་ར་ཛིམ་དང་གྷི་བི་ཨོན་གྱི་ལུང་གཤོང་དུ་དམག་འཐབ་གནང་བ་ལྟར།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་རང་གི་ལས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡ་མཚན་ཡིན་ན་ཡང་གནང་བར་མཛད་དོ།  ཁོང་གི་གསང་བའི་མཛད་པ་རྣམས་ངེས་པར་སྒྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

For the Lord will rise up as on Mount Perazim; as in the Valley of Gibeon he will be roused; to do his deed—strange is his deed! and to work his work—alien is his work!

22  ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཉེན་བརྡ་གཏོང་བར་གད་མོ་མ་གད་ཅིག།  གལ་སྲིད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན་ཁྱོད་བྲོས་ཐར་རྒྱུར་ཁག་པར་འགྱུར།  ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས། ལུང་པ་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་མེད་པར་བཟོ་གནང་རྒྱུའི་ཐུགས་ཐག་བཅད་པ་དེ་ངས་ཐོས་བྱུང༎

Now therefore do not scoff, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord God of hosts against the whole land.

23  ངས་ཇི་ལྟར་བཤད་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ཉན་ནས།  དོ་སྣང་བྱོས་ཤིག།

Give ear, and hear my voice; give attention, and hear my speech.

24  ཞིང་པ་ཞིག་གིས་རང་གི་ཞིང་དུ་གཏན་དུ་རྨོན་པ་རྒྱབ་པ་དང་ས་བོན་འདེབས་པར་ཡང་ཡང་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་མི་བྱེད་དོ།

Does he who plows for sowing plow continually? Does he continually open and harrow his ground?

25  ཁོས་ཐེངས་གཅིག་རང་གི་ས་ཞིང་གྲ་སྒྲིགས་བྱས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ།  ཁོས་སུབ་དང་གོ་སྙོད་རྩ་སྨན་གྱི་ས་བོན་འདེབས་པར་བྱེད་དོ།  ཁོས་གྲོ་དང་ནས་དང་ཞིང་ཁའི་མཐའ་འཁོར་དུ་འབྲུ་རིགས་གཞན་འདེབས་པར་བྱེད་དོ།

When he has leveled its surface, does he not scatter dill, sow cumin, and put in wheat in rows and barley in its proper place, and emmer as the border?

26  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོ་ལ་རང་གི་ལས་ཀ་ཇི་ལྟར་བྱེད་དགོས་པ་བསླབ་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཁོས་ཤེས་སོ།

For he is rightly instructed; his God teaches him.

27  ཁོས་མེ་ཏོག་སེར་པོའི་ས་བོན་རྣམས་ཡང་ན་གོ་སྙོད་ཀྱི་ས་བོན་རྣམས་བརྡུང་བའི་ཆེད་དབྱུག་པ་ལྗིད་པོ་བེད་སྤྱོད་མི་བྱེད་དོ།  དེའི་ཚབ་ལ་ཁོས་བེར་ཀ་ཡངས་པོ་ཚད་ལྡན་ཞིག་བེད་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་དོ།

Dill is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a cart wheel rolled over cumin, but dill is beaten out with a stick, and cumin with a rod.

28  ཁོས་གྲོ་ཚོད་མེད་པར་བརྡུང་ནས་དེ་མེད་པར་མི་བཟོ་བ་དང།  ཁོས་དེའི་སྟེང་དུ་ཤིང་རྟ་འཁོར་ལོ་བཏང་ནས་འབྲུ་ལ་སྐྱོན་མ་ཤོར་བ་བྱས་ནས་བརྡུང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ཤེས་སོ།

Does one crush grain for bread? No, he does not thresh it forever; when he drives his cart wheel over it with his horses, he does not crush it.

29  ཤེས་རབ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཀུན་དབང་ཅན་གྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནས་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་འཆར་གཞི་བཟོ་གནང་བ་རྣམས་ཤེས་རབ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དེ་ཚོ་རྟག་ཏུ་སྒྲུབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ༎

This also comes from the Lord of hosts; he is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom.
