བཀོད་པ 7:1 – གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ནོ་ཨ་ལ་གསུངས་པ། ཁྱོད་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ནང་མི་མཉམ་དུ་གྲུའི་ནང་དུ་སོང་ཞིག འཛམ་གླིང་ཀུན་གྱི་ནང་དྲང་བདེན་གྱི་ལས་བྱས་མཁན་ངས་ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུར་རྙེད་བྱུང་།

Genesis 7:1 – Then the Lord said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.

Study notes

  1. God prepares Noah for redemption
  2. God’s instruction was to separate Noah from the coming judgement determined upon human wickedness on Earth

འོན་ཀྱང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནི་ནོ་ཨ་ལ་ཐུགས་དགྱེས་སོ༎

འདི་ནི་ནོ་ཨའི་ལུ་རྒྱུས་ཡིན། ནོ་ཨ་མི་དྲང་པོ་ཞིག་ཡིན་པ་དང་། དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་འགྲོགས་ཏེ་སྤྱོད་པ་བཟང་པོ་བྱེད་པས། ཁོང་དང་འདྲ་བའི་མི་གཞན་ཞིག་མེད་པ་ཡིན། ཁོང་ལ་བུ་གསུམ་ཡོད་པས། དེ་ཚོའི་མིང་ལ་ཤེམ་དང་ཧམ་དང་ཡ་ཕེད་བཅས་ཡིན་ནོ།

Genesis 6:8-10

But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God. And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Study notes

  1. The life of Noah is an example of God’s redemption
  2. It revealed to us God’s way of redemption through God’s selection, separation and division
  3. God’s selection is based on trust and obedience to His words
  4. Noah lived in that generation when humanity – majority of humanity – turned against God and walks the path of darkness
  5. Noah trusted in the judgement and warning of God and lived righteous life according to the ways of God

ཧ་ནོག་ལོ་དྲུག་ཅུ་རེ་ལྔ་ལོན་དུས་བུ་མེ་ཐུ་སེ་ལཱ་བྱུང་ངོ་། ཧ་ནོག་ལོ་ ༣༠༠ བར་དུ་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་འགྲོགས་ཏེ་གནས་ནས། ཁོང་ལ་ཕྲུ་གུ་གཞན་ཡང་བྱུང་ངོ་། ཁོང་ལོ་ ༣༦༥ བར་བཞུགས་སོ། ཁོས་རང་གི་མི་ཚེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་འགྲོགས་སོ། དེ་རྗེས་ཁོང་མི་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན། དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་ལ་བསྣམས་པར་མཛད་དོ།

Genesis 5:21-24

When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Study notes

  1. Enoch walked with God meant this person observed the ways of God and is close to God
  2. God took Enoch means God brought this person into His presence and kingdom as an act of approval and favor on this person
  3. We are encouraged to seek after God, to walk with God, and to please God by observing His ways
