བཀོད་པ 2: 15-17

དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ་ཨེ་དྷེན་གྱི་ལྡུམ་རའི་ནང་ཞིང་ལས་དང་། སྲུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་དེར་བཞག་གནང་ངོ་། ཁོང་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ། ལྡུམ་རའི་ཤིང་སྡོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཟ་ཐུབ། འོན་ཀྱང་བཟང་ངན་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤིང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ཟ་མི་ཆོག གལ་སྲིད་དེ་ལས་ཟས་ན་ཁྱོད་དེ་ཉིན་རང་ཤི་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

Genesis 2:15-17

The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Study notes

1. Man received the first recorded commandment from God
2. Man assigned stewardship role in the garden created by God
3. Man’s obedience to God was expected

བཀོད་པ 2:7 – དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ས་གཞི་ནས་ཐལ་བ་བླངས་ཏེ་དེ་ལས་མི་ཕོ་མཛད་དེ། སྣ་རུ་སྲོག་གི་དབུགས་ཕུས་བཀྱོན་པ་གནང་སྟེ། མི་ནི་སྲོག་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན།

 

Genesis 2:7 – then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

1. Man was a deliberate creation of God
2. We need to look to God for our identity and purpose of living
