དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནང་རྒྱལ་ཁའི་གླུ་ལེན་པ།

Songs of Victory are sung in Heaven

 

1(ཕོ་ཉ་སྟོབས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཁོང་གིས་གསུང་བྱོན་པའི་རྗེས་ལ་) ལྗཱོན་ངས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནང་མི་ཚོགས་ཆེན་པོ་

ཞེ་དྲག་ཅིག་གི་འུར་སྒྲ་འདྲ་པོ་ཞིག་ཐོས་བྱུང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་སྐད་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་བརྒྱབ་ནས་གཞས་གཏོང་གི་

ཡོད་པ་རེད།   “གཙོ་བོ་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ། དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ང་ཚོའི་སྐྱབས་མགོན་རེད།   དཔལ་དང་

ལྡན་པ་དང་ཀུན་དབང་ [གཅིག་པུ་] དེ་ཁོང་རེད།

1 (After the mighty angel had finished speaking) I [John] heard what sounded like a roar of a vast multitude in Heaven. They were all singing very loudly, “Hallelujah – Praise God! God is our Saviour. He [alone] is glorious and all-powerful.

 

2 གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཞལ་ཆེ་བཅད་གནང་པ་དེ་ཚོ་དྲང་པོ་དང་འོས་པ་ཡོད་རེད།

འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་མི་ཚོ་ལ་མོ་རང་དང་ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་འཁྲིག་སྤྱོད་སྤྱད་འཇུག་མཁན་

གཞང་འཚོང་མ་ངན་གྲགས་ཅན་དེ་ལ་ཁོང་གིས་ཉེས་ཆད་བཀལ་གནང་པ་རེད།

ཁོང་གིས་[གང་གསུངས་པ་ཚང་མ་ལ་སྙིང་ཐག་པ་ནས་བརྩི་བཀུར་ཞུ་མཁན་]

ཁོང་གི་ཞབས་ཕྱི་ཚོ་བསད་པ་དེར་ཁོང་[དཀོན་མཆོག་] གིས་འཁོན་ལན་བསློགས་གནང་པ་རེད།”

2 For God’s judgments are fair and well-deserved. He has condemned the great prostitute who caused the people of the world to do evil by committing evil sexual practices with her. He [God] has avenged the murder of his servants [who from the depths of their hearts, gladly obeyed whatever he said].”

 

3 ཡང་བསྐྱར་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནང་མི་ཚོགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གིས་སྐད་གསང་མཐོ་པོའི་ངང་

“དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ།” ལབ་ནས་གླུ་བླངས་སོང་།   མེ་འབར་བཞིན་

པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནས་དུ་བ་མུ་མཐའ་མེད་པར་ཡར་འཕྱུར་གྱི་རེད།”

3 Once more the voices of the vast multitude in Heaven sang very loudly, “Hallelujah – Praise God! The smoke from the burning city will ascend upwards forever and ever.”

 

4 དེ་ནས་དོ་དམ་པ་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་བཞི་དེ་ཚོ་དང༌། སྲོག་ཆགས་བཞི་པོ་དེ་ཚོས་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་ཐོག་བཞུགས་ཡོད་

པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུས་སོང༌།

ཁོང་ཚོས་“ཨ་མེན། (དེ་ག་རང་ཡོང་བར་ཤོག) དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ་” ལབ་སོང༌།

4 Then the twenty-four overseers and the four living beings prostrated and worshipped God who was seated on the throne. They said, “Amen! (Let it be so) Hallelujah – Praise God!”

 

5(དེའི་རྗེས་ལ་) ངས་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་དེ་ནས་གསུང་གི་སྒྲ་ཞིག་ཐོས་པ་དང་།   དེས་གསུངས་སོང་།

“དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་ཞབས་ཕྱི་ཞུ་བ་དང་།   ཁོང་ལ་བརྩི་མཐོང་ཞུ་མཁན་མི་གོ་གནས་ཆེ་ཆུང་མེད་པ་ཚང་མས་

ཁོང་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ།”

5 (After that) I heard a voice coming from the throne that said, “Give praise to our God all you people, from the least to the greatest who serve God and esteem him.”

 

6 དེ་ནས་[ཡང་བསྐྱར་] ངས་མི་ཚོགས་ཧ་ཅང་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གི་སྐད་འདྲ་པོ་སྒྲ་ཞིག་ཐོས་བྱུང་།   དེ་ཆུ་མང་པོ་

འུར་སྒྲ་ཐོག་ནས་རྒྱུག་གི་ཡོད་པའི་སྒྲ་འདྲ་པོ་དང་།   འབྲུག་སྐད་ཆེན་པོ་གྲགས་པའི་སྒྲ་ཞིག་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག [ཁོང་ཚོས་]“གཙོ་བོ་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   ང་ཚོའི་ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོས་

ཚང་མའི་ཐོག་དབང་སྒྱུར་གནང་གི་འདུག”[ལབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་ངས་ཐོས་བྱུང་།]

6 Then I heard [again] what sounded like the voice of a vast crowd. It sounded like the roar of many rushing waters and extremely loud crashes of thunder. [I heard them say], “Hallelujah – Praise God! For the Lord our God, the Almighty reigns over all!

 

7 ང་ཚོ་དགའ་མགུ་ཡི་རང་བྱེད་ནས་ཁོང་ལ་ཆེ་མཐོང་འབུལ་དགོ།

གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གི་བག་སྟོན་གྱི་དུས་ཚོད་བསླེབས་པ་དང༌།

ཁོང་གི་བག་མ་དེ་གྲ་སྒྲིག་བྱས་ནས་བཞུགས་འདུག

7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him honour. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself.

 

8 ཁོང་མོ་ལ་གོན་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་གོས་དཀར་པོ་གཙང་མ་སྤུད་དག་ཤོས་དེ་སྤྲད་འདུག”

(ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་རས་དཀར་པོ་སྤུད་དག་དེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དམ་པའི་མི་ཚོས་བྱས་པའི་བྱ་བ་བཟང་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་

མཚོན་གྱི་ཡོད་རེད།)

8 She has been given the finest pure white linen to wear.” (The fine white linen represents the good deeds done by God’s holy people.)

 

9 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་དེས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང་།   “འདི་བྲིས་ཤིག:   ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་(བག་མ་བཞེས་རྒྱུའི་དགའ་

སྟོན་སྲུང་བརྩི་ཞུ་རྒྱུའི་) ལུ་གུའི་འཁྲུང་སའི་སྟོན་མོ་ལ་མགྲོན་པོར་བོས་པ་ཚོ་སྐྱིད་པོ་རེད།”   དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་

གསུངས་སོང༌།   “འདི་ཚོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བདེན་པའི་ཚིག་རེད།”

9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this down: Happy are those who have been invited to the marriage feast of the Lamb (to celebrate the Lamb taking a wife)!” Then he said, “These are the authentic words of God.”

 

10 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ངས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཁོང་གི་སྐུ་མདུན་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་པ་ཡིན། ཡིན་ན་ཡང་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་སོང༌།   “ཁྱེད་རང་དེ་འདྲ་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་ཡོད་མ་རེད།   ང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་

མ་བྱིས།   ཁྱེད་རང་དང་ཁྱེད་རང་གི་ཆོས་གྲོགས་ཕོ་མོ་ཚོ་ནང་བཞིན་ངས་ཀྱང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཞབས་ཕྱི་ཞུ་

གི་ཡོད།   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་ཡེ་ཤུ་ཡིས་གསལ་སྟོན་གནང་པའི་བདེན་པ་དེ་ལ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བརྟན་པོ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་རེད།   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་དགོས་ས་ (གཅིག་པུ་) དེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་རེད།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   ཡེ་ཤུ་

ཡིས་ཐེར་འདོན་གནང་པའི་བདེན་པ་དེས་ཁོང་ཚོས་གཞན་དག་ལ་ཁོང་གི་སྐོར་[དང་།   ཁོང་ས་གཞི་འདི་

ཐོག་བཞུགས་པའི་སྐབས་ཁོང་གིས་གང་གནང་པ་དང་སློབ་སྟོན་གནང་པ་དེ་] མི་ཚོ་ལ་ཤོད་རྒྱུའི་བློ་སྟོབས་

དང་ནུས་ཤུགས་སྤྲོད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་རེད།”

10 Then, I [John] prostrated before the angel in order to worship him. But he said to me, “You must not do that. Do not worship me. Like you, and your brothers and sisters in the faith, I also serve God. You steadfastly believe the truth that Jesus revealed. God (alone) is the one you must worship. For the truth that Jesus revealed is what inspires and empowers people to tell others about him [and what he did and taught when he lived here on earth].”

 

རྟ་དཀར་པོ་ཞིག་གི་ཐོག་བཞོན་ཡོད་པའི་རྟ་པ།

The Rider on a White Horse

 

11 དེ་ནས་ངས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནང་ [སྒོ་ཞིག་] ཕྱེས་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་པ་དང་། རྟ་དཀར་པོ་ཞིག་མངོན་དུ་གྱུར་

སོང་།   རྟ་དེའི་སྒང་ལ་ཆིབས་ཡོད་པའི་རྟ་པ་དེའི་མཚན་ལ་བློ་གཏད་ཆོག་པ་དང་བདེན་པ་ཞུ་གི་འདུག   །ཁོང་ གིས་དྲང་ཚུགས་ལྡན་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅོད་གནང་གི་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   དྲང་བདེན་གྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དམག་

འདྲེན་གནང་གི་འདུག

11 Then I saw [a door] open in Heaven, and a white horse appeared. The rider on the horse was named Faithful and True. He judges with integrity and wages a righteous war.

 

12 ཁོང་གི་སྤྱན་མེ་ལྕེ་འདྲ་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང༌། ཁོང་གི་དབུ་ལ་དབུ་རྒྱན་མང་པོ་འདུག   [ཁོང་གི་སྐུ་

གཟུགས་ལ་] མཚན་ཞིག་བྲིས་ཡོད་པ་དང༌། དེ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ཁོང་གཅིག་པུས་མཁྱེན་གྱི་འདུག

12 His eyes are like flames of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written [on his body] that only he himself knows.

 

13 ཁོང་གིས་ཁྲག་ནང་སྦངས་པའི་ཕྱུ་པ་ཞིག་མཆོད་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་ལ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བཀའ་ཞུ་གི་འདུག

13 He is wearing a robe that has been dipped in blood, and he is called The Word of God.

 

14 དམ་པའི་ཞིང་གི་དཔུང་དམག་ཚོ་ཁོང་གི་རྗེས་ལ་འབྲང་གི་འདུག   །ཁོང་ཚོ་རྟ་དཀར་པོ་བཞོན་པ་དང་།   ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་གོས་དཀར་པོ་སྲབ་ཤོས་དང་གཙང་མ་གོན་འདུག

14 The armies of Heaven were following him. They were riding on white horses and were dressed in the finest pure white linen.

 

15 ཁོང་གིས་ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དྲང་བདེན་གྱི་ཁྲོ་བ་དྲག་པོ་དེ་བསྟན་གནང་གི་རེད།   དེ་ནི་རྒུན་

འབྲུམ་བཙིར་ས་ནས་རྒྱུག་གི་ཡོད་པའི་རྒུན་འབྲུམ་གྱི་ཁུ་བ་འདྲ་པོ་ཡོང་གི་རེད།

15 A sharp sword comes out of his mouth, and with this sword he will conquer the [rebellious] nations of the world. He will rule over them with a rod of iron. And he will tread the wine press of the fierce righteous indignation of Almighty God [as he subdues all who have rebelled].

 

16 ཁོང་གི་ཟླ་གམ་དང་བརླ་

ཤའི་ཐོག་ལ་མིང་ཞིག་བྲིས་འདུག   །དེ་ལ་ “རྒྱལ་པོ་(ཚང་མའི་)རྒྱལ་པོ་དང་།   མངའ་བདག་(ཚང་མའི་) གཙོ་བོ་”ཟེར་གྱི་འདུག

16 He has a name written on his robe and on his thigh. It says, “King of (all) kings and Lord of (all) lords.”

 

17 དེ་ནས་ངས་ཕོ་ཉ་ཞིག་ཉི་མའི་སྒང་ལ་བཞེངས་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང༌། ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་གནམ་མཐོ་པོ་འཕུར་བཞིན་ཡོད་པའི་བྱ་རྒོད་དེ་ཚོ་

(དང་ཤ་གཟན་གྱི་བྱ་གཞན་དག་ཚོ་ལ་) གསུང་སྐད་ཆེན་པོ་བསྐྱོན་ནས་ “དཀོན་

མཆོག་གིས་(ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོའི་ཆེད་དུ་) གྲ་སྒྲིག་གནང་གི་ཡིན་པའི་གསོལ་སྟོན་རྒྱས་པོ་དེའི་ཆེད་དུ་འཛོམས་ཤོག

17 Then I saw an angel standing on the sun. The angel cried out in a loud voice to the vultures (and the other flesh-eating birds) that were flying high up in the sky, “Come! Gather for the bountiful feast that God is going to prepare (for you.)

 

18 ཤོག   [དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལ་]

རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚོ་དང་།   དམག་སྤྱི།   དམག་མི།   རྟ་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་རྟ་པ་ཚོ་དང་།   མཆོག་དམན་ལ་མ་ལྟོས་པར་

བྲན་གཡོག་དང་རང་དབང་ཡོད་པའི་མི་གཉིས་ཀར་གྱི་ཤ་ཟ་རྒྱུའི་ཆོག་མཆན་གནང་ཡོད་རེད།”

18 Come! [God has permitted you] to eat the flesh of kings, generals, soldiers, horses and their riders, and all people both slave and free, regardless of how important or insignificant they are.”

 

དབང་དུ་བསྡུ་མཁན་རྟ་པ་ཁོང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མ་ཤི་ཀ་[ཡེ་ཤུ་] རེད།

The Conquering Rider is God’s Messiah [Jesus]

 

19 དེ་ནས་ངས་གཅན་ཟན་དེ་དང་།   ས་གཞིའི་དབང་སྒྱུར་བ་དང་ཁོང་ཚོའི་དཔུང་དམག་དེ་ཚོ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   ཁོང་ཚོ་རྟ་དཀར་པོ་བཞོན་མཁན་ཁོང་དང་ཁོང་གི་དམག་དཔུང་ཚོའི་ཁ་གཏད་ལ་དམག་འདྲེན་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་

འདུ་འཛོམས་བྱས་སོང་།

19 Then I saw the beast, and the rulers of the earth and their armies. They gathered together to wage war against the rider on the white horse and against his soldiers.

 

20 དེ་ནས་གཅན་ཟན་དེ་ཡ་མཚན་དང་རྟགས་མཚན་[རྫུས་མ་] སྟོན་མཁན་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྫུས་མ་དེ་མཉམ་དུ་

འཇུ་བཟུང་བྱས་སོང་།   ཁོའི་རྟགས་དེ་ཚོས་(རང་གི་ལུས་ལ་) གཅན་ཟན་དེའི་མཚོན་རྟགས་རྒྱབ་བཅུག་ནས་

ཁོའི་འདྲ་བརྙན་ལ་མཆོད་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚང་མ་ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་བཏང་སོང་།   དེ་ནས་གཅན་ཟན་དེ་དང་ལུང་སྟོན་

པ་རྫུས་མ་དེ་གཉིས་ཀར་མུ་ཟེ་འབར་བཞིན་པའི་མེའི་མཚོ་ནང་གསོན་པོ་གཡུགས་སོང༌།

20 And the beast was captured along with the false prophet who had performed [spurious] wonders and signs on behalf of the beast. His signs had fooled all those who had accepted the mark of the beast and worshipped his statue. Then the beast and the false prophet were both thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur.

 

21 རྟ་དཀར་པོ་དེའི་ཐོག་ལ་བཞོན་ཡོད་པའི་རྟ་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཁ་ནས་ཐོན་པའི་གྲི་

དེས་ (ཁ་གཏད་ཀྱི་དཔུང་དམག་) བྱིངས་དེ་ཚོ་བསད་སོང་།   འདིའི་རྗེས་ལ་བྱ་རྒོད་དང་(ཤ་གཟན་གྱི་བྱ་གཞན་

དག་ཚོས་) དམག་ལ་ཤི་བའི་མི་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མའི་རོ་ཧབ་ཟ་བྱས་སོང་།

21 The rider on the white horse killed the remainder (of the opposing army) with the sword that came out of his mouth. After this all the vultures (and other flesh-eating birds) gorged themselves on the bodies of all those that had been killed in battle.

ལེའུ་བཅོ་བརྒྱད། (18)

 

གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་ལ་ས་ཡོམ་འཕོག་དུས་ག་རེ་བྱུང་པ།

What Happened when the Fortified City of Babylon was struck by the Earthquake

 

1 འདིའི་རྗེས་ལ་ངས་ཕོ་ཉ་གཞན་དག་ཅིག་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   ཁོང་ལ་དབང་ཐང་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   ངས་

ཁོང་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནས་མར་ཕེབས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   ས་གཞི་དེ་ཕོ་ཉ་འདིའི་དཔལ་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཀྱི་ འོད་སྣང་གིས་འཕྲོས་འདུག

1 After this I saw another angel. He had great authority and I saw him coming down from Heaven. The earth was illuminated by the light of this angel’s glorious splendour.

 

2 ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་གསུང་སྐད་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཅིག་བསྐྱོན་ནས་གསུངས་སོང༌།:   “གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཙན་

པོ་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་དེ་བཟོ་བཅོས་མི་ཐུབ་པའི་ཉམས་ཉེས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཕྱིན་སོང་།   མོ་(གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་) འདྲེ་དང་

སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པ་ཚང་མ་གབ་ས་ཆགས་འདུག   །དེ་མི་གཙང་བའི་བྱ་དང་སེམས་ཅན་སྐྱུག་བྲོ་པོ་ཚང་མའི་

སྡོད་ས་ཆགས་འདུག

2 The angel gave a mighty shout and said: “The great city of Babylon has collapsed and has suffered irreparable damage. She (the city) has become a hiding place for demons and unclean spirits. It has become a home for every foul bird and every detestable animal.

 

3 གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚང་མས་སྟངས་འཛིན་མི་ཐུབ་པའི་མོའི་ཚུལ་མིན་གྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་

ཀྱིས་ཆང་རག་གར་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་འཐུངས་ཡོད་རེད།   ས་གཞིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚོས་མོ་མཉམ་དུ་ལོག་གཡེམ་སྤྱད་པ་

དང་།   ས་གཞིའི་ཚོང་པ་ཚོ་མོའི་རྒྱས་སྤྲོས་ཀྱི་འཚོ་བ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ཕྱུག་པོ་ཆགས་ཡོད་རེད།”

3 For all the nations have drunk the wine of her unrestrained sexual immorality. The kings of the earth have committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich on account of her luxurious living.”

 

4 དེ་ནས་ངས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནས་གསུང་སྐད་གཞན་དག་ཅིག་ཐོས་པ་དང་།   དེས་གསུང་གི་འདུག   “ངའི་

མི་ཚོ།   [ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ཡུལ་དེའི་མི་ཚོའི་སྡིག་སྤྱོད་ཀྱི་ཤུགས་རྐྱེན་འོག་མ་འཚུད་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་] གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནས་

ཕྱི་ལ་ཐོན་ཤོག   །ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་མོའི་སྡིག་ལས་ལ་མ་ཞུགས་པ་དང་།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདི་ལ་འཕོག་གི་ཡིན་པའི་

བཀའ་ཆད་དེ་མ་མྱང་བའི་ཆེད་དུ་ [ལམ་སང་] དེ་ནས་ཐོན་ཞིག

4 Then I heard another voice from Heaven say, “My people! Come out of the city [so that you will not be influenced by the sinful behaviour of its inhabitants]. Leave it [immediately] so that you will not participate in her sins, and suffer the punishing plagues that will engulf this city.

 

5 གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདིའི་

སྡིག་པ་ནམ་མཁའ་ནང་བཞིན་མཐོ་པོ་བརྩེགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   མོའི་(གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདིའི་) ཉེས་སྤྱོད་ཚང་མ་ལ་

དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མོ་ལ་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅད་གནང་གྲབས་ཡོད་རེད།

5 For the sins of this city are piled up as high as the sky, and God is about to judge her (this city) for all her evil deeds.

 

6 མོས་ (གཞན་དག་

ཚོ་ལ་) ག་རེ་བྱས་པ་དེ་མོ་ལ་བྱིས།   མོས་གཞན་དག་ཚོ་ལ་བྱས་པའི་(ཉེས་སྤྱོད་དེ་ཚོ་) ལས་ལྡབ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་

མང་བ་མོ་རང་ལ་ངན་ལན་འཇོལ་ཞིག   །མོས་གཞན་དག་ཚོ་ལ་སྤྲད་པའི་ཆང་ཕོར་དེ་ལས་ལྡབ་གཉིས་ཀྱིས་

ཆེ་བ་དང་གར་བ་ཡོད་པའི་མོ་རང་རང་གི་ཆང་ཕོར་དེ་ནང་མོ་ལ་ཆང་རག་སྤྲོད།

6 Do to her what she has done (to others). Repay her twice as much for all the (evil deeds) she inflicted upon others. Serve her a drink in her own cup that is twice as large and strong as the drink she served to others.

 

7 མོ་ཁེངས་དྲེགས་ཆེན་པོ་དང་རང་འདོད་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   མོས་མི་ཚེ་རྒྱས་སྤྲོས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་

བསྐྱལ་པ་རེད།   ད་ལྟ་མོས་རྒྱས་སྤྲོས་བྱས་པ་དེ་ལ་དཔག་པའི་མོ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས་མནར་བར་ཤོག   །མོས་‘ང་

[འདེའི་] རྒྱལ་མོ་ཞིག་གི་ཚུལ་དུ་ང་རང་གི་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་བསྡད་ཡོད།   ང་ཡུག་མོ་སྐྱབས་མེད་མགོན་མེད་མ་ཡིན་

པ་དང་།   ང་མྱ་ངན་བྱེད་དགོས་པ་རྩ་བ་ནས་འབྱུང་གི་མ་རེད།’ལབ་ནས་འུད་ཤོབ་ཤོད་རྐྱང་བྱེད་ཀྱི་འདུག

7 She was supercilious and completely self-centred, and lived in excessive luxury. May she now suffer torment and sorrow in proportion to the luxury she indulged in. She keeps on boasting to herself, ‘[Here] I sit as a queen on my throne. I am not a helpless widow and I will never experience the grief of mourning.’

 

8 དེ་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་མོ་ལ་ཉི་མ་གཅིག་རང་ལ་མུ་གེ་དང་།   མྱ་ངན་

དང་།   འཆི་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་འབྱུང་གི་རེད།   གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   མོ་ལ་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅོད་གནང་མཁན་ཁོང་

ཀུན་དབང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ཡིན་པ་དང་།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་མེས་རྩ་མེད་བཟོ་གི་རེད།”

8 Therefore, she will experience the suffering of famine, mourning, and death – all in a single day. For the One who judges her is the Lord God Almighty and the city will be completely consumed by fire.”

The Kings, the Merchants, and all those with them are Terrified and Lament

 

9“མོ་དང་ལོག་གཡེམ་སྤྱད་ནས་མོའི་རྒྱས་སྤྲོས་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ལོངས་སུ་སྤྱོད་མཁན་ཚོས་མོའི་འཚིག་རོ་ནས་དུ་བ་

ཡར་འཕྱུར་གྱི་ཡོད་པ་དེ་མཐོང་དུས།   ཁོང་ཚོ་[འཇིགས་སྐྲག་གིས་] མིག་ཧུ་རེར་བལྟས་ནས་ཆོ་ངེ་གདབ་

ནས་ངུ་གི་རེད།

9 “When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and enjoyed her excessive luxury see the smoke rising from her charred remains, they will stare [in horror] and will mourn with weeping and wailing.

 

10 ཁོང་ཚོས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་མཐོང་ནས་

འཇིགས་སྣང་གིས་རྒྱང་རིང་པོ་ལང་ནས་ [མིག་ཧུ་རེར་བལྟ་གི་རེད།)   ཁོང་ཚོས་ “ཐབས་སྡུག་བ་ལ།   དེ་

འདྲའི་ཐབས་སྡུག་བ་ལ།   ཨ་ཙི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ།   ཨ་ཙི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཙན་པོ་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་།   སྐད་ཅིག་མ་

གཅིག་ལ་ཁྱེད་རང་གི་ཐོག་ལ་[དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་] བཀའ་ཆད་ཕོག་སོང༌།” ལབ་ནས་སྐད་ལོག་བརྒྱབ་ཀྱི་རེད།

10 Terrified at seeing the city’s great suffering they will stand at a distance (and stare). They will cry out, “Terrible! How terrible! Oh great city! Oh great city of Babylon! In a single moment [God’s] judgement has come upon you.”

 

11 ད་ལྟ་ས་གཞིའི་ཚོང་པ་ཚོའི་ཚོང་ཟོག་ཉོ་མཁན་སུ་ཞིག་མེད་ཙང་།   ཁོ་ཚོ་མོའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཆོ་ངེ་གདབ་པ་དང་

མྱ་ངན་བྱེད་ཀྱི་རེད།

11 The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because there is no one to buy their merchandise anymore.

 

12[དེ་སྔ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེས་འཛམ་བུ་ཕྱོགས་མཐའ་གང་ས་ནས་

སླེབས་པའི་ཚོང་པ་དེ་ཚོའི་སར་ནས་ཚོང་ཟོག་ཕོན་ཆེན་པོ་ཉོ་གི་ཡོད་པ་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོས་ཉོས་པའི་དངོས་ཟོག་

གི་ཐོ་འདི་རེད།]:   གསེར་དང་།   དངུལ།   ཕ་ལམ།   མུ་ཏིག   །ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་རས་སྲབ་པོ།   རས་མུ་མེན། དར།   རས་མཚལ་ཁ།   ཤིང་དྲི་ཞིམ་ནས་བཟོས་པའི་དངོས་ཆས།   བ་སོའི་དངོས་ཆས། ཤིང་རིན་གོང་

ཆེན་པོ་ནས་བཟོས་པའི་དངོས་ཆས། ལི། ལྕགས་དང་། རྡོ་ཀ་མ་རུ།

12 [Previously the city had purchased great quantities of merchandise from the traders who came from all parts of the world. Here is a list of the things that were purchased]: Gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth; things made from fragrant wood; ivory goods, objects made from expensive wood, bronze, iron and marble.

 

13 གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེས་ཤིང་མངར་དང༌།   སྨན་སྣ།   བདུག་སྤོས། གུ་གུལ། སྤོས་དཀར། རྒུན་ཆང་། ཨོ་ལིལྦ་སྣུམ། རྒྱ་ཞིབ། གྲོ། བ་གླང་། ལུག རྟ། ཤིང་རྟ་

འཁོར་ལོ་དང་། བྲན་གཡོག་ཀྱང་ཉོས་པ་རེད།

13 The city also bought cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, and human slaves.

 

14 དེ་ནས་ཁོང་ཚོས་ལབ་ཀྱི་རེད། ‘འོ་ཙི།   (སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན།)   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་སེམས་ཞེ་དྲག་ཆགས་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པའི་

རྒྱས་སྤྲོས་ཅན་གྱི་དངོས་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་པ་རེད།   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ཧ་ཅང་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བ་སྣང་

བ་བཟོ་མཁན་དངོས་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་རྦད་དེ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་པ་རེད།   ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལ་དེ་ཚོ་ཡང་བསྐྱར་ཚུར་

རྩ་བ་ནས་འཐོབ་ཀྱི་མ་རེད།’

14 Then they will say, “Oh (Babylon), the luxurious things that you were so attached to have gone. All those things that made you look so attractive have gone forever. You will never get them back again.”

 

15 རང་གི་ཚོང་ཟོག་དེ་ཚོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ལ་བཙོངས་ནས་

ཕྱུག་པོ་ཆགས་པའི་ཚོང་པ་དེ་ཚོ་རྒྱང་རིང་པོར་ལང་ནས་བསྡད་ཀྱི་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་སྡུག་

བསྔལ་དྲག་པོ་དེ་མཐོང་ནས་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་སྐྱེ་བ་དང་ངུ་ཅོར་བརྒྱབ་ནས་ཆོ་ངེ་གདབ་ཀྱི་རེད།

15 The merchants who became rich by selling their merchandise to the city will remain at a distance. They will be terrified at the sight of her great suffering and they will weep and wail as they mourn.

 

16 ཁོང་ཚོས་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་ནས་ལབ་ཀྱི་རེད།   “ཨ་ཁ་ཁ།   ཨ་ཁ་ཁ།   གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་ལ་ཐབས་སྡུག་

ཞེ་དྲག་བྱུང་སོང༌།   དེ་སྔ་མོས་གནས་གོང་ཆེ་བའི་རས་ཀ་ཤི་ཀའི་གྱོན་གོས་མུ་མེན་དང་།   མཚལ་ཁ་གོན་

གྱི་ཡོད་པ་རེད།   མོས་མོ་རང་གསེར་དང་།   རིན་པོ་ཆེ་རྡོ་དང་།   མུ་ཏིག་གི་རྒྱན་ཆས་བརྒྱན་འདུག

16 They will cry out and say, “Alas, alas! What terrible things have happened to this great city? She used to dress herself in expensive purple and scarlet linen clothing. She adorned herself with gold ornaments, precious stones and pearls.

 

17 ཡིན་ན་ཡང་ཆུ་ཚོད་གཅིག་ནང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་རྒྱུ་ནོར་

ཡོངས་རྫོགས་རྩ་གཏོར་ཕྱིན་སོང་།”   ཚོང་པའི་གྲུ་གཟིངས་དེ་ཚོའི་དེད་དཔོན་ཚོ་དང་།   དེ་ཚོའི་འགྲུལ་པ་ཚོ་

དང་།   གྲུ་པ་ཚོ་དང་།   གྲུ་གཟིངས་ཀྱི་ལས་མིའི་རུ་ཁག་ཚང་མ་རྒྱང་རིང་པོ་ལང་ [ནས་མིག་ལྡིར་ནས་

བལྟ་གི་རེད།]

17 But in a single hour all the wealth of the city has been laid waste.” All the captains of the merchant ships, and their passengers, sailors and crew will stand at a distance [and stare].

 

18 ཁོང་ཚོས་[གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མེ་འབར་བཞིན་པ་དེ་ནས་]དུ་བ་འཕྱུར་གྱི་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་ནས་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་

པ་དང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་ལབ་ཀྱི་རེད། “འདི་འདྲ་པོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་བཙན་པོ་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ཧྲིལ་པོ་ག་པར་ལ་ཡང་

ཡོད་རེད་པས།   [ཡོད་མ་རེད།   ག་པར་ལ་ཡང་ཡོད་མ་རེད།]”

18 They will cry out as they see the smoke ascend [from the burning city], and they will say, “Was there a city as great as this one anywhere else in the entire world? [No, not anywhere].”

 

19 ཁོང་ཚོས་རང་གི་སེམས་སྡུག་སྟོན་རྒྱུའི་

ཆེད་དུ་ངུ་བ་དང་།   རང་གི་མགོ་ལ་ཐལ་བ་གཤོ་གི་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོས་ཆེ་ངེ་གདབ་ནས་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་ཀྱི་རེད།   “ཨ་ཁ་ཁ། [གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ཤུལ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་སོང་།]   རྒྱ་མཚོའི་ཐོག་གྲུ་གཟིངས་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་

ཕྱུག་པོ་ཆགས་སོང་།   ཁོང་ཚོས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་རྒྱུ་ནོར་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་དབོར་འདྲེན་བྱས་ནས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ཕྱུག་པོ་

ཆགས་འདུག   །ཨ་ཁ་ཁ།   ཆུ་ཚོད་གཅིག་གི་ནང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་སྟོང་རོ་ཆགས་སོང་།”

19 They will weep and throw dust upon their heads to show their grief. They will lament and cry out, “Alas! [The great city has been razed to the ground]. Everyone who owned ships at sea became rich. They became rich because of transporting the city’s great wealth. Alas! For the city has been brought to ruin in just a single hour.”

20[དེ་ནས་གསུང་སྐད་ཅིག་ཐོས་ནས་དེས་གསུངས་པ།]‘(དམ་པའི་ཞིང༌ནང་ཡོད་པ་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་)

དགའ་ཚོར་བྱིས།)[གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འདི་ལ་] ག་རེ་བྱུང་པ་དེ་ལ་དགའ་ཚོར་བྱིས།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དམ་པའི་མི་ཚོ་

དགའ་ཚོར་བྱིས།   [ཡེ་ཤུའི་] སྐུ་ཚབ་ཚོ་དང་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་དགའ་ཚོར་བྱིས།   གང་ཡིན་ ཟེར་ན།   གྲོང་

ཁྱེར་དེས་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལ་ (གདུག་སྦྱོང་དྲག་པོ་) བཏང་པ་དེ་ལ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ལ་ཉེས་པ་བཏང་གནང་

པ་རེད།’”

20 [Then a voice was heard to say], ‘Rejoice (all you who are in Heaven!) Rejoice because of what has happened [to this city]. Be glad God’s holy people! Rejoice [Jesus’] apostles and the prophets! Because God has punished the city for (the terrible things) that were done to you.’”

 

21 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་སྟོབས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་གིས་བྲག་རྡོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་བསྒྲུགས་གནང་སོང་།   དེ་རང་འཐག་གི་

རྡོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གི་ཆེ་ཆུང་ཙམ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།   ཁོང་གིས་དེ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོའི་ནང་ཤུགས་ཧ་ཅང་ཆེན་པོའི་

ཐོག་ནས་གཡུགས་གནང་སོང་།   ཁོང་གིས་གསུང་སྐད་བསྐྱོན་ནས་གསུངས་སོང་།   “བྲག་རྡོ་འདི་ནང་བཞིན་

གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་དེ་ཤུགས་ཀྱིས་གཡུག་པ་དང་།   དེ་ཡང་བསྐྱར་ནམ་ཡང་མཐོང་གི་མ་རེད།

21 Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder. It was the size of a huge millstone and he threw it into the ocean with great force. He shouted, “Like this boulder, the great city of Babylon will be cast down violently and it will never be seen again.

 

22 ཧྭབ་(རྒྱུད་མངས་) དང་།   གཞས་པ་དང་གཞས་

མ་ཚོ་དང་།   གླིང་བུ་དང་རྒྱ་གླིང་གི་རོལ་མོ་ཐོས་རྒྱུ་མེད་པ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད།   ལས་མི་སུ་ཞིག་གིས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་

ནང་ཚོང་ཁང་མ་བཙུགས་པ་དང་།   འབྲུ་ཐག་གི་ཡོད་པའི་རང་འཐག་གི་རྡོའི་སྒྲ་ཡང་བསྐྱར་རྩ་བ་ནས་ཐོས་ཀྱི་

མ་རེད།

22 The sound of people playing harps and flutes and trumpets will never be heard in your streets again. Skilled craftsmen will never be seen in your city again. And the sound of a millstone grinding grain will never be heard in you again.

 

23 སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་ག་པར་ལ་ཡང་སྒྲོན་མེའི་འོད་མ་འཕྲོ་བ་དང་།   མག་པ་དང་མནའ་མ་ཚོས་ཆང་སའི་དམ་བཅའ་

ནམ་ཡང་བསྒྲག་གི་མ་རེད།   མོའི་ཚོང་པ་ཚོས་ས་གཞི་དབང་སྒྱུར་བྱེད་པ་དང་།   མོས་རང་གི་ངན་སྔགས་

བེད་སྤྱོད་བྱས་ནས་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཚང་མ་ལ་མགོ་སྐོར་བཏང་པ་རེད།

23 Never again will people see the light of a lamp shining in you. The happy voices of bridegrooms and brides will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the most powerful in the entire world and [not only that] by means of your sorcery you deceived all the nations of the earth.

 

24 ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་ཁྲོམ་ལམ་ལ་

བསད་ཙང་།   [དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་ལ་ཉེས་པ་བཏང་གནང་པ་རེད།]   དེའི་རྒྱ་ལམ་དེ་ཚོའི་ནང་ལུང་

སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་བསད་པ་རེད།   དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་དེར་ཡོད་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དམ་པའི་མི་ཚོ་ཡང་ཚང་མ་བསད་

པ་རེད།   དངོས་གནས་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན།   སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་གྱིས་འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ཕྱོགས་མཐའ་གང་སར་མི་ཚོ་བསད་

པའི་ཉེས་པ་ཡོད་རེད།”

24 [God has punished Babylon because] the prophets were slaughtered in its streets. And all of God’s holy people who were there were killed too. In fact Babylon is guilty of killing people all over the world.”

ཕོར་པ་བདུན་སྣོམ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕོ་ཉ་དེ་ཚོས་ཕོར་པ་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེ་བྱས་ནས་བཤོ་གནང་བ།

The angels holding the seven bowls pour them out, one after the other

 

1 དེ་ནས་[ལྗཱོན་] ངས་མཆོད་ཁང་དེ་ནས་གསུང་གི་སྒྲ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་གིས་ཕོ་ཉ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ “ཁྱེད་རང་

ཚོ་ཕྱིན་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནས་འཐོབ་འོས་པའི་ཉེས་ཆད་ [བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོས་] བཀང་པའི་ཕོར་པ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་

ཚོ་ས་གཞི་ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་ཤིག” གསུངས་པ་ཐོས་བྱུང་།

1 Then I [John] heard a loud voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s [seven] punishments of retribution.”

 

2 བྱས་ཙང་ཕོ་ཉ་དང་པོ་དེ་མཆོད་ཁང་ནས་ཕེབས་ནས་རང་གི་

ཕོར་པ་དེ་ས་གཞི་ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་གནང་སོང་།   (རང་གི་ཐོད་པ་དང་ཡང་ན་ལག་པ་ལ་) གཅན་ཟན་དེའི་རྟགས་

ཡོད་པ་དང༌། དེའི་འདྲ་བརྙན་ལ་མཆོད་བྱེད་མཁན་མི་ཚང་མ་ལ་རྨ་འཇིག་སྣང་ཚ་པོ་ཐོན་སོང༌།

2 So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl on the earth. Horrible sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast (on their forehead or on their hand) and who worshiped his statue.

 

3 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་གཉིས་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ནང་གཤོས་གནང་ནས་དེ་ཁྲག་ལ་གྱུར་སོང་།   རྒྱ་མཚོ་

དེ་གཤིན་པོའི་ཁྲག་འདྲ་པོ་ཆགས་པ་དང་། དེ་ནང་གང་ཡོད་པ་ཚང་མ་ཤི་སོང༌།

3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood. The sea became like the blood of a corpse, and everything in it died.

 

4 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་གསུམ་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་གཙང་པོ་དང་ཆུ་མིག་གི་

ཆུ་[ཚང་མའི་] ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་གནང་པ་དང༌།   དེ་ཚོ་ཁྲག་ལ་གྱུར་སོང༌།

4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and on the springs of water, and they became blood.

 

5 དེ་ནས་ངས་ [ས་གཞིའི་]

ཆུ་ཚང་མའི་ཐོག་ལ་དབང་ཆ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕོ་ཉ་ཁོང་གིས་འདི་གསུང་གི་ཡོད་པ་ཐོས་བྱུང་།:   “ཀྱེ་དམ་པ་

ཁྱེད་དྲང་པོ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།   འཐོབ་འོས་པའི་ཉེས་ཆད་འདི་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཐག་གཅོད་གང་གནང་པ་

དེ་དྲང་པོ་རེད་འདུག   །ད་ལྟ་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་ཐོག་མ་མེད་པ་ནས་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་དེ་

ཁྱེད་རང་རེད།

5 Then I heard the angel who had the authority over all [the earth’s] water say, “O Holy One. You are just and what you have decided concerning these retributive punishments is fair. You are the God who lives now and has always existed without beginning.

 

6 མི་ངན་ཚོས་

དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མི་ཚོ་དང་ཁོང་གི་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཚོ་བསད་པ་དང་།   [ད་ལྟ་] ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ཁྲག་

འཐུང་བཅུག་པ་རེད།   ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ཉེས་ཆད་འདི་འཐོབ་འོས་པ་ཡོད་རེད།”

6 Evil people have killed God’s people and his prophets and [now] you have given them blood to drink. They are deserving of this punishment.”

 

7 དེ་ནས་ངས་མཆོད་ཁྲི་དེ་ནས་གསུང་གི་སྒྲ་ཞིག་ཐོས་པ་དང་།   དེས་གསུང་གི་འདུག   “ལགས་སོ།   ཀྱེ་ཀུན་དབང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག

།ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་ཆད་གནང་པ་དེ་ཚོ་དྲང་པོ་དང་འོས་ཤིང་འཚམས་   པ་འདུག”

7 Then I heard a voice from the altar, saying, “Yes! O Lord God Almighty, the punishments you send are just and well deserved.”

 

8 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་བཞི་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་ཉི་

མའི་ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་གནང་པ་དང་།   དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཉི་མ་ནས་ཐོན་པའི་མེ་ལྕེ་དེས་མི་ཚོ་ཚིག་བཅུག་པ་

གནང་སོང་།

8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and God allowed the fiery heat that emerged from the sun to scorch people.

 

9 དྲོད་ཤུགས་དྲག་ཆེན་པོ་དེའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་མི་ཚང་མ་

འཚིག་སྐྱོན་ཚབས་ཆེན་པོ་བྱུང་སོང་།   མི་དེ་ཚོས་བཀའ་ཆད་འདི་ཚོ་ཚང་མའི་ཐོག་སྟངས་འཛིན་གནང་ཐུབ་

མཁན་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གི་མཚན་ལ་དམོད་མོ་བཏབ་སོང་།   ཡིན་ན་ཡང་མི་དེ་ཚོས་(གཡོ་བ་མེད་པར་)

རང་གི་སྡིག་པ་ལ་འགྱོད་པ་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་འདོད་པ་མ་བྱས་པ་དང༌།   རང་གི་ཉེས་སྤྱོད་དེ་ཚོ་སྤོང་རྒྱུའི་འདོད་པ་

བྱས་མ་སོང་།   ཁོ་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་རླབས་ཆེན་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ངོས་ལེན་མ་བྱས་པ་དང་ཡང་ན་ཁོང་ལ་ཆེ་

མཐོང་ཕུལ་མ་སོང་།

9 Everyone received severe burns as a consequence of the intense heat. The people cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. But the people (steadfastly) refused to repent of their sins and abandon their negative actions. They would not acknowledge God’s greatness, or give him honour.

 

10-11 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་ལྔ་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་གཅན་ཟན་དེའི་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་གནང་པ་དང༌།

དེའི་རྒྱལ་ཁམས་དེ་མུན་པའི་ནང་ལྷུང་སོང་།   དེའི་ཆབ་འབངས་དེ་ཚོ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས་རང་གིས་སོ་ཁྲིག་ཁྲིག་

བྱས་པ་དང་།   ཁོ་ཚོའི་རྨ་དེ་ཚོ་སྔར་ལས་ལྷག་བ་ནད་ཟུག་ཆེ་རུ་ཕྱིན་ཙང་།   ཁོ་ཚོས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་གི་

དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམོད་མོ་བཏབ་སོང༌། འདི་འདྲ་བྱུང་ན་ཡང་ཁོ་ཚོས་རང་གི་ཉེས་སྤྱོད་དེ་ཚོར་འགྱོད་པ་མ་

བྱས་པ་དང་།   རང་གི་ཀུན་སྤྱོད་འགྱུར་བ་བཏང་མ་སོང་།

10 -11 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast. And his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth in anguish, and they cursed the God of Heaven because their sores became even more painful. In spite of this they did not repent of their evil deeds and change their behaviour.

 

12 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་དྲུག་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་གཙང་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡུཕ་རེ་ཊིས་ཐོག་ལ་གཤོས་གནང་

ནས་དེའི་ཆུ་རྒྱུག་མཚམས་ཆད་སོང་།   རྒྱུ་མཚན་དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ཡིན་པའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་ཚོས་

རང་གི་དཔུང་དམག་མཉམ་དུ་མདུན་སྐྱོད་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་ལམ་ཕྱེས་སོང་།

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great River Euphrates, and its water stopped flowing. As a consequence, the way was opened up for the kings from the East to advance with their armies.

 

13 དེ་ནས་ [ལྗཱོན་] ངས་

སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པ་གསུམ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།   དེ་ཚོ་སྦལ་པ་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག   །དེ་ཚོ་འབྲུག་དེའི་ཁ་དང་།   གཅན་

ཟན་ [དང་པོ་] དེའི་ཁ་དང་།   ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྫུས་མ་དེའི་ཁ་ནས་ཐོན་གྱི་འདུག   [གཅན་ཟན་གཉིས་པ་དེ་ལ་

ལུང་སྟོན་པ་རྫུས་མ་ཟེར་གྱི་འདུག   །གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན།   དེས་མི་ཚོ་ལ་སྐད་ཆ་ཤོད་དུས།   དེས་རྫུན་བཤད་

སོང་།]

13 Then I [John] saw three unclean evil spirits. They looked like frogs. They leapt out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the [first] beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. [The second beast was called false prophet because it lied when it spoke to the people].

 

14 སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པ་འདི་ཚོས་[མགོ་སྐོར་གཏོང་རྒྱུའི་] ཡ་མཚན་སྟོན་ཐུབ་ཀྱི་འདུག   ཁོ་ཚོས་གཙོ་བོ་

[དཀོན་མཆོག་] ལ་དམག་རྒྱབ་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་ས་གཞིའི་དབང་སྒྱུར་བ་ཚང་མ་བསྡུ་སྐོང་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་བློ་འགུགས་རྒྱུའི་

ཆེད་དུ་ཁོང་ཚོའི་སར་འགྲོ་གི་ཡོད་པ་ [ལྗཱོན་ངས་མཐོང་བྱུང་།] འདི་ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་[རང་གི་

དགྲ་ཚོ་ལ་] ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅད་གནང་གི་ཡིན་པའི་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་གྱི་ཉིན་མོ་དེར་འབྱུང་གི་རེད།

14 These evil spirits were able to perform [deceiving] miracles. [I, John, saw them] go out to all the rulers of the earth to persuade them to gather together in order to wage war against the Lord [God]. This will take place on the great day when God, who is all powerful, will judge [his enemies].

 

15[དེ་ནས་སྐུ་གསོན་པོར་བཞེངས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤུ་མ་ཤི་ཀས་གསུང་བྱོན་ནས་གསུངས་པ།]“ཉོན་ཞིག

[ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་རེ་བ་ཁྱོན་ནས་མ་བྱེད་པའི་དུས་ཚོད་ཅིག་ལ་ང་ཡོང་གི་ཡིན།]   ང་རྐུན་མ་ཞིག་ནང་བཞིན་ཡོང་གི་ཡིན།

གཉིད་མ་ཉལ་བར་བསྡད་པ་དང་།   དུག་སློག་གོན་རྒྱུར་གྲ་སྒྲིག་བྱས་ནས་སྡོད་ཡོད་པའི་མི་དེ་བསོད་ནམས་

ཅན་རེད།   མི་དེས་རང་གི་དུག་སློག་གོན་ནས་དམར་ཧྲང་ཕར་འགྲོ་ཚུར་འོང་མ་བྱེད་པ་དང་།

ཁོང་མི་གཞན་དག་ཚོའི་མདུན་ལ་ངོ་ཚ་གི་མ་རེད།”

15 [Then the risen Jesus Christ spoke and said:] “Listen! [I will come when you least expect me.] I will come just like a thief comes. How fortunate it will be for the person who stays awake and whose clothes are at hand and ready to put on. That person, having put his clothes on, will not walk around naked and he will feel no shame in front of other people.”

 

16[དེ་ནས་ངས་སེམས་ཉིད་ངན་པ་གསུམ་པོ་དེ་ཚོས་] དབང་སྒྱུར་བ་ཚང་མ་དང་།

ཁོ་ཚོའི་དཔུང་དམག་ཚང་མ་ཧིབ་རུའི་སྐད་ལ་ཨར་མ་གེདྲ་ཌོན་ཟེར་བའི་ས་ཆ་ཞིག་ལ་བསྡུ་སྐོང་བྱས་པ་[མཐོང་བྱུང་།]

16 [Then I saw the three evil spirits] gather all the rulers and their armies together at a place which in the Hebrew language is called, Armageddon.

 

17 དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཉ་བདུན་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ཕོར་པ་ནང་གང་ཡོད་པ་དེ་བར་སྣང་ནང་བཤོས་གནང་སོང་།   [ངས་]

དམ་པའི་ཞིང་གི་མཆོད་ཁང་ནང་ནས་གསུང་གི་སྒྲ་གསང་པོ་ཞིག་ [ཐོས་བྱུང་།][དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་]

བཞུགས་ཁྲི་ནས་གསུང་བྱོན་ནས་གསུངས་སོང་། “ཚང་མ་ཚར་སོང་།”

17 The seventh angel poured out the contents from his bowl into the air. [I heard] a loud voice from the Temple in Heaven. [God] spoke from the throne and said, “Everything is finished!”

 

18 དེ་ནས་འབྲུག་སྒྲ་གྲགས་པ་དང་།   གནམ་ལ་གློག་འཁྱུགས་པ་དང་། ས་ཡོམ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་ཅིག་བརྒྱབ་སོང་།

ས་གཞི་ཐོག་འགྲོ་བ་མི་གནས་པ་ནས་བཟུང་ས་ཡོམ་ཆེན་པོ་འདི་འདྲ་པོ་བརྒྱབ་མྱོང་ཡོད་པ་མ་རེད།

18 Then the thunder roared, lightning flashed and a great earthquake struck the earth. An earthquake this powerful had never before struck the earth during the whole time that mankind has lived on the earth.

 

19 ས་ཡོམ་རྒྱབ་དུས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་ཁག་གསུམ་ལ་གས་པ་དང་།

འཛམ་བུ་གླིང་ཁྱོན་ཡོངས་ཀྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གཞན་དག་ཚང་མ་ས་རོ་རྡོ་རོའི་ཕུང་གསོག་ལ་གྱུར་སོང་།   ངན་གྲགས་ཅན་

གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་སྦེ་སྦི་ལོན་གྱི་མི་ཚོས་བྱས་པའི་སྡིག་ལས་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཐུགས་ལ་དྲན་གནང་སོང་།

འདི་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་ཁོང་གིས་མོ་ལ་[གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་] ལ་ཐོབ་འོས་པའི་ཉེས་ཆད་མཚོན་གྱི་ཡོད་པའི་རྒུན་ཆང་གིས་

བཀང་པའི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་འཐུང་དགོས་པའི་བཙན་དབང་བཏང་གནང་སོང་།

19 When the ground shook, the great city of Babylon split into three parts and all the other cities throughout the whole world turned into heaps of rubble. God remembered all the sinful actions that the people of the infamous city of Babylon had committed. This is why he forced her to drink the cup that was filled with the wine that represented his punishments of retribution.

 

20[ས་ཡོམ་དེའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་]

གླིང་ཕྲན་ཡོད་ཚད་ཚང་མ་ཡལ་བ་དང་།   རི་ཚང་མ་ཁོད་སྙོམས་པོ་ཆགས་སོང༌།

20 [Because of the earthquake], every island disappeared and all the mountains were levelled.

 

21 སེར་རླུང་དྲག་པོ་བརྒྱབ་པ་དང་།

གནམ་ནས་མི་གཞོན་པ་ཞིག་གི་ལྗིད་ཚད་ སྤྱི་རྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ཙམ་ཡོད་པའི་སེར་བ་རྡོག་རྡོག་

ཆེན་པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་བབས་ནས་འོག་ལ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ལ་ཟགས་སོང་།   སེར་བའི་བཀའ་ཆད་དེ་ཚབས་ཆེན་

པོ་ཞེ་དྲག་བྱུང་ཙང་།   མི་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམོད་མོ་བཏབ་སོང་།

21 There was a terrible hailstorm, and huge hailstones weighing as much as an adult person fell from the sky onto the people below. The people cursed God because the plague of hail was so severe.
