Remember the Parable of the Sower
མད་ཐཱ། 13:23 – ས་བོན་ས་རྒྱུ་བཟང་པོ་ལ་འཐོར་བ་ནི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བཀའ་ཐོས་ནས་རྟོགས་པའི་མི་དེ་ཡིན། འབྲས་བུ་སྨིན་ཏེ། འབྲས་བུ་ཁ་ཤས་ལྡབ་བརྒྱ་དང༌། ཁ་ཤས་ལྡབ་དྲུག་ཅུ། ཁ་ཤས་ལྡབ་སུམ་ཅུ་བཅས་སྨིན་” ཞེས་གསུངས།
Matthew 13:23 – As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”
The key to being fruitful for Jesus is “the one who hears the word and understands it“. Knowing and understanding the words of God is foundational to obedience and doing the will of God.
Today’s lesson we are going to look into the life of Abraham, how God separated and selected him for redemption and blessing, and how Abraham responded through faith and obedience.
བཀོད་པ 12:1-3
1 དེ་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཨབ་རམ་ལ་གསུངས་པ། ད་ཁྱོད་རང་གི་ཕ་ཡུལ་དང་གཉེན་མཚན་དང་ཕའི་ཁང་པ་ནས་ཐོན་ཏེ་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བསྟན་པའི་ཡུལ་དུ་སོང་ཞིག
2 ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་མང་པོ་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན། དེ་ཚོ་ནི་མི་རིགས་སྙན་གྲགས་ཆེནཔོ་ཞིག་བྱུང་ཡོང་། ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་ནས། ཁྱོད་སྙན་གྲགས་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་ཞིག་བྱུང་ཡོང་།
3 ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་བཏང་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་ངས་ཀྱང་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲད་བར་བྱ། ཁྱོད་ལ་དམོད་པ་བརྒྱབ་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་ངས་ཀྱང་དམོད་པ་བརྒྱབ་པར་བྱའོ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་ས་གཞིའི་མི་རིགས་ཐམས་ཅད་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།
Genesis 12:1-3
Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. 2 And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

1ཨབ་རམ་ལོ་དགུ་བཅུ་གོ་དགུ་ལོན་པའི་ཚེ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོ་ལ་མངོན་པར་མཛད་པ། ང་ནི་ཀུན་དབང་ལྡན་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཡིན། ངའི་བཀའ་ལ་ཉན་ནས་གང་བདེན་པ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་བྱོས་ཤིག 2ངས་ཁྱོད་དང་དམ་བཅའ་བྱེད་དེ་ཁྱོད་ལ་མི་བརྒྱུད་མང་པོ་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།
Genesis 17:1-2
When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, 2 that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”
History records do testify that Abraham was living in an environment saturated with idolatries and man-made religion in willful revolt of God’s will.
When God called Abraham to leave his hometown the idea was to be separated from the world’s practice of idolatries and man-made religion with no hope of true redemption. The hometown of Abraham where God called him to leave was Ur of the Chaldeans, a place in Mesopotamia known as part of the ancient Near East, and where early human civilizations sprouted.
For us looking at history base on scripture truth we know our current human population can be traced to Noah after The Flood. Records of human repopulation after Noah’s Flood can be found in Genesis 10 and 11 showing the listing of nations from his three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
In Genesis 11 we read an interesting turn of event known as the Tower of Babel.
Apparently what happened in the construction of the Tower of Babel was not just about people coming together to build a tall building. To get a deeper understand of what happen in Genesis 11 and why God was not pleased and intervened and scattered the people one could try to understand the subject about “mystery religion of Babylon“.
With reference to “mystery religion of Babylon” one name stands out – Nimrod.
The same person named “Nimrod” mentioned in Genesis 10 was noted and considered instigator and founder of the “mystery religion of Babylon”.
བཀོད་པ 10:8-12
8ཀུཤའི་བུ་ནིམ་རོད་ཟེར་བ་དེ་ནི་འཛམ་གླིང་ནང་དུ་དཔའ་བོ་དང་པོ་དེ་བྱུང་ངོ་། 9དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་རྗེས་ཁོ་ཁྱི་ར་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་འགྱུར་བས། དེའི་ཕྱིར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ནིམ་རོད་ལྟར་ཁྱི་ར་བ་ཞིག་མཛད་པར་ཤོག་ཅེས་པའི་ལམ་སྲོལ་དེ་ནས་འགོ་འཛུགས་སོ། 10ཐོག་མར་ཁོའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་བྷེ་བྷི་ལོ་ནི་ཡ་དང་། ཨེ་རེག་དང་ཨ་ཀད་ཡུལ་ནང་འཁེལ་ལོ། དེ་གསུམ་ནི་བྷེ་བྷི་ལོ་ནི་ཡ་དུ་ཡོད་དོ། 11ཡུལ་དེ་ནས་ཁོང་ཡུལ་ཨ་སི་རི་ཡ་བྱ་བར་ཕེབས་པ་དང་། དེར་ནི་ན་ཝཱེ་དང་། རེ་ཧོ་བོད། ཨིར་དང་། ཀ་ལཱ་དང་རེ་སེན་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རྣམས་བཙུགས་སོ། 12རེ་སེན་ནི་ནི་ན་ཝཱེ་དང་ཀ་ལཱའི་བར་ལ་ཡོད་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནོ།
Genesis 10:8-12
8 Cush fathered Nimrod; he was the first on earth to be a mighty man. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord. Therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went into Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah, and 12 Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.
Cush was from the line of Ham, who was cursed by Noah.
Nimrod being noted as a “mighty man” and “mighty hunter before the Lord” should not be taken in a positive sense. The original Hebrew word used to address Nimrod as a “hunter” (צַיִד tsayid) suggested a personality who is in the practice of shedding blood in hunting and hunting not necessary just referring to animals but involves people as in killing and hunting down the enemy in warfare. And in the context of Genesis there were only two persons who were addressed with the specific Hebrew word “hunter” (צַיִד tsayid) and they were Nimrod and Esau.
Nimrod was a “mighty man” and “mighty hunter” in conquering and warfare and building cities and strongholds. Nimrod’s wife Semiramis was instrumental in making “mystery religion of Babylon” into an organized religion.
ཧ་བྷ་ཀུག 2:12 – ཁྱོད་འཇིག་པར་འགྱུར་ཡོད། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནི་ཁྲིམས་འགལ་གྱི་རྨང་གཞི་ལས་བཙུགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་། དེ་ལ་སྲོག་གཅོད་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་ཡར་སླངས་ཡོད་པས།
Habakkuk 2:12 – “Woe to him who builds a town with blood and founds a city on iniquity”
What was spoken by the prophet Habakkuk can be used to explain how Nimrod established his rule and kingdom through bloodshed and fraud against God’s will.
The construction of the Tower of Babel involved many people and the leadership of Nimrod was not disputed. Although God scattered the people and the construction of the Tower of Babel came to a halt but they continued their evil inclinations of practicing and spreading man-made religion in revolt against God. So by the time of Abraham and in consideration of the widespread practice of man-made religion there were practical reasons why God told Abraham to leave his hometown.
The problem of the “mystery religion of Babylon” have continue to plague the world’s population even till today and the Book of Revelation shows us that God will eventually make a complete end of the “mystery religion of Babylon“.
མངོན་པ། 18:1-8
1དེའི་རྗེས་སུ། བདག་གིས་དབང་ཐང་ཆེན་པོའི་ཕོ་ཉ་གཞན་ཞིག་ནམ་མཁའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནས་མར་ཕེབས་པ་མཐོང་ཞིང་། ཁོང་གི་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཆེན་པོའི་གཟི་འོད་ས་གཞི་ཡོངས་ལ་ཁྱབ་བོ།། 2ཁོང་གིས་གསུང་སྐད་དྲག་པོས་འདི་སྐད་དུ།
འཇིག་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ་པཱ་པིས་ལུན།།
ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ནི་འཇིག་པར་གྱུར།།
དེ་ནི་གདོན་གྱི་སྡོད་གནས་དང་།།
མི་གཙང་གདོན་དང་བྱེའུ་ཚང་དང་།།
མི་གཙང་སྐྱུག་བྲོ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱི།།
གཅན་གཟན་འགྲོ་སའི་གནས་སུ་གྱུར།།

གཡེམ་གྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་ཆེན་པོའི་ཆང་།།
འཐུང་ཞིང་ས་སྟེང་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྣམས།།
ཁོ་མོ་ལ་ནི་ལོག་གཡེམ་བྱས།།
ས་སྟེང་ཚོང་པ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་།།
ཁོ་མོར་ལོག་གཡེམ་བྱས་པའི་ཕྱིར།།
ས་སྟེང་ཚོང་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི།།
ཁོ་མོའི་འདོད་ཡོན་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ལ།།

4ཡང་བདག་གིས་ནམ་མཁའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནས་སྐད་གཞན་ཞིག་གིས་འདི་སྐད་གསུངས་པ་ཐོས་ཏེ།
ཀྱེ་ཀྱེ་ང་ཡི་མི་རྒྱུད་རྣམས།།
ཁོ་མོ་མཉམ་དུ་སྡིག་པ་དང་།།
ཁོ་མོས་མྱོང་བའི་ཆག་སྒོ་དེ།།
ཁྱོད་ལ་འབྱུང་བར་མི་བྱ་ཕྱིར།།
གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནས་ཕྱིར་ཐོན་ཤོག །

དཀོན་མཆོག་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་མོ་ཡི།།

ང་ནི་བཙུན་མོའི་ཁྲི་ལ་བསྡད།།
ཡུགས་མོ་ལ་ནི་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ།།
མྱ་ངན་གནས་སུ་མི་ལྷུང་སྙམ།།
8དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཉིན་གཅིག་དུས་ཡུན་ལ།།
འཆི་བ་མྱ་ངན་མུ་གེ་བཅས།།
ཁོ་མོའི་ཆག་སྒོ་མཉམ་དུ་འབྱུང་།།
མེ་ཡིས་ཁོ་མོ་བསྲེག་འགྱུར་ཞིང་།།
ཁོ་མོར་ཉེས་ཆད་གཅོད་མཁན་ཏེ།།
གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ཉིད་ལ།།
ནུས་མཐུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལྡན་པས་སོ།།
Revelation 18:1-8
After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice,
“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast. 3 For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.”
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. 7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ 8 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”
In Revelation 18 when God judge the sins and iniquities of Babylon there is the same call to “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues”.
When God called Abraham to leave his hometown that was saturated with “mystery religion of Babylon” it was not just a call to blessing with God but first and foremost to depart and be separated from sins and iniquities of the world that work against God’s will.
Compared to the time of Noah there is the same pattern of separation and selection for redemption base on obedience to God’s word before judgement.
Abraham trusted God and moved and that was credited to Abraham as acts of righteousness. Obedience to God’s word makes distinction between those who serve and worship the one and true living God and in oppose to those who follow man-made religion and ideologies.
As disciples and followers of Jesus the Christ we are to follow the same faith of Abraham to make distinction and be separated from the world of iniquities. Jesus in His discourse especially for His inner circle of disciples recorded in John 17 teaches the same principles of separation and sanctification based on obedience to God’s word

14ངས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ཁོ་རྣམས་ལ་བསྩལ་ཅིང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་མི་དག་ཁོ་རྣམས་ལ༌སྡང༌། རྒྱུ་མཚན་ནི་ང་རང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་མི་གཏོགས་པ༌བཞིན། ཁོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་མི་གཏོགས་པའི་ཕྱིར༌རོ།། 15ཁོ་རྣམས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ནས་འདྲེན་པའི་ཕྱིར་ངས་ཁྱེད་ལ་གསོལ་བ་མི་འདེབས༌པར། ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་རྣམས་བདུད་ངན་དེ་ལས་བསྲུང་ཞིང་སྐྱོབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས༌པ་ཡིན། 16ང་རང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་མི་གཏོགས་པ་བཞིན་ཁོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་མི་གཏོགས་སོ།། 17ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བདེན་པ་ཉིད་བརྒྱུད་ནས་ཁོ་རྣམས་དམ་པར་མཛོད༌ཅིག ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ནི་བདེན་པ་ཉིད་ལགས་སོ།། 18ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་རང་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་ཇི་ལྟར་མངགས་པ༌བཞིན། ངས་ཀྱང་ཁོ་རྣམས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་མངགས༌ཤིང་། 19ཁོ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བདེན་པ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་སྒོ་ནས་དམ་པར་འགྱུར་བའི༌ཕྱིར། ངས་ཁོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཆེད་དུ་རང་ཉིད་དམ་པར་བྱ་ཞེས་གསུངས༌སོ།།
John 17:14-19
14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
The same disciple John who recorded Jesus’ teaching in John 17 taught the next generation disciples of the same rule

15འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་དང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་དངོས་པོ་ཀུན་ལ་ཞེན་ཆགས༌པར་མི་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ། མི་སུ་ཞིག་འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་ཞེན་ཆགས་པར་གྱུར་ན། མི་དེའི་སེམས་སུ་ཡབ་ལ་གཅེས་པའི་སེམས་ནི་ཡོད་པ་མ་ཡིན་ནོ།། 16ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན། འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་དོན་ཐམས་ཅད་དེ། ཤ་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་། མིག་གི་འདོད༌ཆགས། ཚེ་འདིའི་ང་རྒྱལ་བཅས་ནི་ཡབ་ནས་བྱུང་བ་མ་ཡིན་པར་འཇིག་རྟེན་ནས་བྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།། 17འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་དང་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་ཐམས་ཅད་འཇིག་པར་འགྱུར༌མོད། འོན་ཀྱང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་དགོངས་བཞིན་སྒྲུབ་མཁན་ནི་གཏན་དུ་གནས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ།།
1 John 2:15-17
15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life —is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
So from the time of Genesis 12 when God called Abraham we are to follow the same path of separation and selection in preparing for true redemption base on obedience to God’s word.
Separation and division are difficult inconvenient truth we need to deal with. But when God called Abraham to separate that does not means the path to hermit living. It was a call to repentance from the practice of sin and to live in obedience to God’s truth, and for the sake of repentance one may need to change environment and relocate.
Abraham was separated from his hometown and relocate elsewhere to live in obedience and holiness and in so doing fulfill the will of God and being selected and prepared for redemption.
པེ་ཏྲོ་དང་པོ། 1:13-25
13དེའི༌ཕྱིར། ཁྱོད་ཅག་གིས་རང་གི་སེམས་གཅུན་ཞིང་རང་ཚོད་ཟིན་དགོས་པ༌དང༌། ཡེ་ཤུ་མཱ་ཤི་ཀ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་ཕེབས་པའི་དུས༌སུ། ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ལ་གནང་ངེས་པའི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ལ་བློ་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་གིས་རེ་བ་གཟུང་དགོས་སོ།། 14ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ནི་བཀའ་བརྩི་བའི་བུ་ཕྲུག་ཡིན་པ་བཞིན། སྔོན་ཆད་རྨོངས་པའི་དུས་ཀྱི་འདོད་ཆགས་བཞིན་དུ་མ་བྱེད༌ཅིག 15དེ་ལས་ལྡོག་སྟེ་ཁྱོད་ཅག་ལ་ཞལ་འབོད་གནང་མཁན་ནི་དམ་པ་ཡིན་པ་བཞིན། ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་སྤྱོད་ལམ་ཀུན་ནས་དམ་པ་ཡིན་དགོས༌ཏེ། 16གསུང་རབ་ཀྱི་མདོ་ལས་ཇི་སྐད༌དུ། ང་རང་དམ་པ་ཡིན་པའི༌ཕྱིར། །ཁྱོད་ཀྱང་དམ་པ་ཡིན་དགོས༌སོ། །ཞེས་བཀོད་པའི་ཕྱིར༌རོ།།
17དེ་ཡང་མི་ལ་ཕྱོགས་རིས་མི་འཛིན་པར་མི་རེ་རེའི་སྤྱོད་ལམ་བཞིན་དུ་ཁྲིམས་ཐག་གཅོད་མཁན་ལ་ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཡབ་ལགས་ཞེས་འབོད་པས། ཁྱོད་རྣམས་བྱེས་སུ་སྡོད་དུས་གུས་ཤིང་འཇིགས་པའི་སེམས་བཅང་དགོས་སོ།། 18ཁྱོད་རྣམས་རང་གི་ཕ་མེས་ཡང་མེས་ནས་བརྒྱུད་ཅིང་སྙིང་པོ་མེད་པའི་སྤྱོད་ལམ་དག་ལས་བླུས་ཤིང་ཐར་བར་མཛད་པ༌ནི། འཇིག་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་གསེར་དངུལ་ལ་སོགས་པའི་དངོས་པོར་བརྟེན་པ་མ་ཡིན༌པར། 19སྐྱབས་མགོན་མཱ་ཤི་ཀའི་སྐུ་ཁྲག་རིན་ཆེན་ཏེ། ནག་ནོག་མ་འདྲེས་པ་དང་། དྲི་མས་མ་གོས་པའི་ལུ་གུའི་ཁྲག་དང་མཚུངས་པ་དེ་ལ་བརྟེན་པ་ནི་ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཤེས༌སོ།། 20དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཁམས་མ་བཀོད་པའི་ཡར་སྔོན་ལ་སྐྱབས་མགོན་ཡེ་ཤུ་སྔ་མོ་ནས་མཁྱེན་པ་ཡིན༌ཡང༌། དུས་ཀྱི་མཐའ་མ་འདིར་ད་གཟོད་ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དོན་དུ་མངོན༌པར་མཛད། 21ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ཁོང་ཉིད་བརྒྱུད་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དད་པ་བྱས༌ཤིང༌། དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་ཉིད་སྐུ་གྲོངས་པ་ནས་སླར་གསོན་པ་དང་གཟི་བརྗིད་དང་ལྡན་པར་མཛད་དོ།། དེ་ནི་ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དད་པ་དང་རེ་བ་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར༌རོ།།
22ཡང་ཁྱོད་ཅག་གིས་བདེན་པ་ཉིད་བརྩིས་ནས་རང་གི་སེམས་གཙང་མར་བྱས་པ་དང་སྤུན་ཟླ་རྣམས་ལ་ཟོལ་གྱིས་གཅེས་པ་མ་ཡིན་པས། སེམས་གཏིང་ནས་ཕན་ཚུན་ལ་གཅེས་དགོས་སོ།། 23ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ཡང་བསྐྱར་སྐྱེས་པ་ནི་འཇིག་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་ས་བོན་ལས་བྱུང་བ་མ་ཡིན་པར། འཇིག་པ་མེད་པའི་ས་བོན༌ཏེ། སྲོག་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་གཏན་དུ་བཞུགས་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བཀའ་ལ་བརྟེན་ནས་བྱུང་བའོ།། 24ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ཞེ་ན།
ལུས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་རྩྭ་དང༌འདྲ།།
གཟི་བརྗིད་རྩྭ་ཡི་མེ་ཏོག༌འདྲ།།
རྩྭ་ནི་བསྐམས་ནས་མེ་ཏོག༌ཡལ།།
25གཙོ་བོའི་བཀའ་ནི་རྟག་ཏུ་གནས།།
ཞེས་གསུངས་པའི་ཕྱིར༌ཡིན་ཞིང་། ཁྱོད་རྣམས་ལ་བསྒྲགས་པའི་འཕྲིན་བཟང་ཡང་བཀའ་འདི་ཡིན༌ནོ།།
1 Peter 1:13:25
13 Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, 15 but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.” 17 And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, 18 knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you 21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, 23 since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; 24 for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, 25 but the word of the Lord remains forever.”
We are being encouraged to live in holiness by rejecting the sinful ways of the world.
