མད་ཐཱ། 13:34-35

34 ཡེ་ཤུས་དོན་དེ་ཐམས་ཅད་དཔེའི་སྒོ་ནས་མི་ཚོགས་ལ་གསུངས་ཏེ། དཔེ་མ་བསྟན་པར་ཁོ་ཚོར་ཅིའང་མ་གསུངས།

35 འདི་ནི་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་བརྒྱུད་ནས་གསུངས་པ་དེ་སྒྲུབ་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཡིན།

ང་ཡི་ཁ་ནས་དཔེ་སྤྱད་དེ།།

འཇིག་རྟེན་བཀོད་ནས་ད་བར་གྱི།།

སྦས་པའི་དོན་རྣམས་བསྟན་པར་བྱ།།

Matthew 13:34-35

34 All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed, he said nothing to them without a parable. 35 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet:

“I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

Psalm 78:1-4

1 Give ear, O my people, to my teaching;
incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
2 I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings from of old,
3 things that we have heard and known,
that our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.

33 ཁོང་གིས་དཔེ་གཞན་ཞིག་ཁོ་ཚོར་བསྟན་ཏེ་ “དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ནི་སྐྱུར་རྩི་དང་འདྲ་སྟེ། བུད་མེད་ཅིག་གིས་དེ་གྲོ་ཕྱེ་བྲེ་གསུམ་གྱི་ནང་ལ་བསྲེས་པ་དང༌། རྗེས་མ་ཕྱེ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་སྐྱུར་ལངས་” ཞེས་གསུངས།

 

Matthew 13:33

33 He told them another parable. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

Study notes –

1. Jesus speaks of another parable with reference to leaven which may hint to three issues
2. Leaven may point to inevitable natural process of growth
3. Leaven in scripture may also refer to evil influences and suggest possible corruption among believers community in the future
4. The large quantity of flour may suggest the extending impact and influence
5. This parable may be paired with the Parable of Mustard Seed

31 ཡེ་ཤུས་དཔེ་གཞན་ཞིག་ཁོ་ཚོར་བསྟན་ཏེ་ “དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ནི་ཞིང་ཁར་བཏབ་པའི་ཡུངས་འབྲུ་རྡོག་པོ་གཅིག་དང་འདྲ་སྟེ།

32 ས་བོན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་ཆུང་ཡང༌། ཆེར་སྐྱེས་དུས་སྡུམ་རའི་སྔོ་ཚོད་གཞན་རྣམས་ལས་ཆེ་བར་ཆགས་ཏེ་རྩི་ཤིང་དུ་གྱུར་ཞིང༌། བྱིའུ་རྣམས་ཡོང་ནས་དེའི་ཡལ་གར་ཚང་བཟོ་” ཞེས་གསུངས།

 

Matthew 13:31-32

31 He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

1. Jesus speaks of the impact of God’s word
2. The universal reach of God’s kingdom is to be expected
3. The intention use of mustard seed speaks of inexorably growth
