བཀོད་པ 29 – Genesis 29

29:1  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་མུ་མཐུད་ནས་ཤར་གྱི་ཡུལ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་འགྲོ་བའི་སྐབས་སུ།

Then Jacob went on his journey and came to the land of the people of the east.

29:2  གློ་བུར་དུ་ཞིང་གཅིག་གི་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་ཁྲོན་པའི་མཐའ་འཁོར་དུ་ལུག་ཁྱུ་གསུམ་ཡོད་སར་སླེབས་སོ།  ལུག་ཁྱུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྲོན་པ་དེ་ལས་ཆུ་འཐུང་གི་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  ཁྲོན་པའི་ཁར་རྡོ་ཞིག་གིས་བཀབ་ཡོད་དོ།

As he looked, he saw a well in the field, and behold, three flocks of sheep lying beside it, for out of that well the flocks were watered. The stone on the well’s mouth was large,

29:3  ལུག་ཁྱུ་རྣམས་ཁྲོན་པའི་རྩར་བསླེབས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ།  ལུག་རྫི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྲོན་པའི་ཁ་ནས་རྡོ་དེ་འཐེན་ནས་ལུག་རྣམས་ལ་ཆུ་སྟེར་ཚར་བ་དང་།  རྡོ་དེ་ཁྲོན་པའི་ཁར་བཞག་གི་ཡོད་དོ།

and when all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place over the mouth of the well.

29:4  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ལུག་རྫི་རྣམས་ལ་ངའི་གྲོགས་པོ་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ག་ནས་ཕེབས་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།  ཁོ་ཚོས།  ང་ཚོ་ཡུལ་ཧ་རན་ནས་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

Jacob said to them, “My brothers, where do you come from?” They said, “We are from Haran.”

29:5  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས།  ན་ཧོར་གྱི་ཚ་བོ་ལ་བན་ཟེར་བ་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ངོ་ཤེས་སམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས། ཁོང་ཚོས།  ང་ཚོས་ངོ་ཤེས་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

He said to them, “Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?” They said, “We know him.

29:6  ཁོས་ཁོང་བདེ་བར་ཡོད་དམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།  ཁོང་བདེ་པོ་ཡོད།  ལྟོས་དང་ཁོང་གི་ལུག་ཁྱུ་རྣམས་ཁོང་གི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་འཁྱེར་ནས་ཡོང་གི་འདུག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།

He said to them, “Is it well with him?” They said, “It is well; and see, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep!”

29:7  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ།  ད་ལྟ་ས་རུབ་མེད་པས་ལུག་བཅུག་མ་རན་ནོ།  ལུག་ཁྱུ་རྣམས་ལ་ཆུ་སྟེར་ཞིང་འཚོ་བའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འཁྲིད་དམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།

He said, “Behold, it is still high day; it is not time for the livestock to be gathered together. Water the sheep and go, pasture them.”

29:8  ཁོང་ཚོས།  ང་ཚོས་དེ་ལྟར་བྱས་མི་ཐུབ།  ཁྱུ་ཚང་མ་བསླེབས་ཚར་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་མ་གཏོགས་ཁྲོན་པའི་ཁ་རུ་ཡོད་པའི་རྡོ་དེ་ཕུད་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་།  དེ་ནས་ང་ཚོས་ར་ལུག་ཚོར་ཆུ་སྟེར་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together and the stone is rolled from the mouth of the well; then we water the sheep.”

29:9  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ལུག་རྫི་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སྐད་ཆ་བཤད་པའི་སྐབས་ར་ཧེལ་གྱིས་ལུག་ཁྱུ་འཁྲིད་དེ་ཁོང་ཚོའི་རྩར་སླེབས་པ་དང་།

While he was still speaking with them, Rachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherdess.

29:10  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཨ་ཞང་གི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་གྱིས་ལུག་ཁྱུ་འཁྲིད་ནས་ཡོང་བ་མཐོང་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཁོ་ཁྲོན་པའི་རྩར་སོང་ནས་རྡོ་དེ་འཐེན་ནས་ལུག་ཚོ་ལ་ཆུ་སྟེར་རོ།

Now as soon as Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, Jacob came near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.

29:11  དེ་ནས་ཁོས་མོ་ལ་འོ་བྱས་ཏེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་ཞིང་ངུས་སོ།

Then Jacob kissed Rachel and wept aloud.

29:12  དེ་ནས་ཁོས་མོ་ལ།  ང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕའི་སྲིང་མོ་རེ་བྷེ་ཀའི་བུ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པས།  མོ་རྒྱུགས་ནས་ཕ་ལ་སྨྲས་སོ།

And Jacob told Rachel that he was her father’s kinsman, and that he was Rebekah’s son, and she ran and told her father.

29:13  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཡོང་ཡོད་པའི་སྐོར་ཁོས་ཐོས་པ་དང་།  ཁོང་བསུ་བར་ཕྱིན་སྟེ་ཁོ་ལ་འཁྱུད་དེ།  འོ་བྱས་ཏེ་ཁང་པར་འཁྲིད་དོ།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཨ་ཞང་ལ་བན་ལ།  ཁོ་རང་ལ་གང་བྱུང་བ་ཚང་མའི་སྐོར་བཤད་པའི་སྐབས་སུ།

As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he ran to meet him and embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his house. Jacob told Laban all these things,

29:14  ལ་བན་གྱིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ནི་ངའི་ཤ་དང་ཁྲག་བདེན་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།  དེ་རྗེས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག་ཙམ་ཁོང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་གནས་སོ༎

and Laban said to him, “Surely you are my bone and my flesh!” And he stayed with him a month.

29:15  དེ་ནས་ལ་བན་གྱིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ངའི་གཉེན་མཚན་ཡིན་ནའང་གླ་ཆ་མེད་པར་ལས་ཀ་བྱེད་མི་བཅུག་གོ  ཁྱོད་ལ་གླ་ཆ་ག་ཚོད་དགོས་སམ་ང་ལ་ལབ་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།

Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because you are my kinsman, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?”

29:16  ལ་བན་ལ་བུ་མོ་གཉིས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  རྒན་པའི་མིང་ལ་ལེ་ཨ་ཞེས་པ་དང་།  ཆུང་བའི་མིང་ལ་ར་ཧེལ་ཞེས་པའོ།

Now Laban had two daughters. The name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.

29:17  བུ་མོ་ལེ་ཨས་མིག་སྐྱོ་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  ར་ཧེལ་ནི་བལྟ་བ་ལ་མཛེས་པོ་དང་གཟུགས་དབྱིབས་ཡག་པོ་ཡོད་པ་དང་།

Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachel was beautiful in form and appearance.

29:18  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་བྱམས་པ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་དོ།  ཁོས་ལ་བན་ལ་།  ་ཏེ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་ང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་བཅུག་ན།  ངས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཆེད་དུ་ལོ་བདུན་ལས་ཀ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པས།

Jacob loved Rachel. And he said, “I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”

29:19  ལ་བན་གྱིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ངའི་བུ་མོ་གཞན་སུ་ཞིག་ལ་སྤྲད་པ་ལས་ཁྱོད་རང་ལ་སྤྲད་པ་ལེགས་སོ།  ང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སྡོད་ཅིག།

Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to any other man; stay with me.”

29:20  དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་ཕྱིར་ལོ་བདུན་གཡོག་བྱས་སོ།  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁོས་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་བྱམས་པ་བྱས་པས་རྐྱེན་གྱིས།  ལོ་བདུན་དེ་དུས་ཚོད་ཐུང་ངུ་ཞིག་མ་གཏོགས་མ་འཚོར་རོ།

So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her.

29:21  དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ལ་བན་ལ།  ད་ལོ་བདུན་ཚང་བས།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་མོ་ང་ལ་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་པར་སྤྲོད་རོགས་གནང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པས།

Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife that I may go in to her, for my time is completed.”

29:22  ལ་བན་གྱིས་ཆང་སའི་ཐུགས་སྤྲོ་བཏང་ནས་མགྲོན་པོ་མང་པོ་བོས་སོ།

So Laban gathered together all the people of the place and made a feast.

29:23  འོན་ཀྱང་མཚན་དེར་ལ་བན་གྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ལེ་ཨ་ལ་ཡ་ཀོབ་རྩར་སྐྱེལ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་མོ་མཉམ་དུ་ཉལ་ལོ།

But in the evening he took his daughter Leah and brought her to Jacob, and he went in to her.

29:24  ལ་བན་གྱི་རང་གི་བྲན་མོ་ཛིལ་པཱ་ལ་ལེ་ཨའི་བྲན་མོར་འགྱུར་བ་ལ་སྤྲད་དོ།

(Laban gave his female servant Zilpah to his daughter Leah to be her servant.)

29:25  སྔ་དྲོ་ལངས་སྐབས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ལེ་ཨ་མཐོང་བས།  ཁོ་ལ་བན་གྱི་སར་ཕྱིན་ནས་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱེད་འདི་ལྟར་ཅི་གནང་ངམ།  ངས་ར་ཧེལ་དང་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་ཕྱིར་གཡོག་བྱེད་པས། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ང་ལ་མགོ་བསྐོར་བཏང་བ་དེ་ཅི་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།

And in the morning, behold, it was Leah! And Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?”

29:26  ལ་བན་གྱིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ང་ཚོའི་ལུགས་སྲོལ་ལྟར་བུ་མོ་རྒན་པས་ཆང་ས་མ་རྒྱབ་བར་ཆུང་བས་རྒྱབ་མི་ཆོག

Laban said, “It is not so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.

29:27  ཆང་ས་རྒྱབ་པའི་རྟེན་འབྲེལ་བདུན་ཕྲག་གཅིག་ཚང་བས་རྗེས་སུ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཡང་སྐྱར་ལོ་བདུན་ངའི་རྩར་ལས་ཀ་བྱེད་ན་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ངའི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་དང་ཆང་ས་རྒྱབ་བཅུག་གི་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པས།

Complete the week of this one, and we will give you the other also in return for serving me another seven years.”

29:28  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་དེ་བཞིན་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་ཐག་བཅད་དེ། རྟེན་འབྲེལ་གྱི་བདུན་ཕྲག་ཚང་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ལ་བན་གྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་ཁོང་དང་ཆང་ས་རྒྱབ་བཅུག་གོ།

Jacob did so, and completed her week. Then Laban gave him his daughter Rachel to be his wife.

29:29  ལ་བན་གྱིས་རང་གི་བྲན་མོ་བྷིལ་ཧཱ་ཞེས་པ་དེ་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་བྲན་མོར་འགྱུར་བར་སྤྲད་དོ།

(Laban gave his female servant Bilhah to his daughter Rachel to be her servant.)

29:30  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཉལ་ཏེ།  ཁོང་གིས་ལེ་ཨ་ལས་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་མང་བར་བྱམས་སོ།  དེ་ནས་ཁོང།  ཡང་ལོ་བདུན་ལ་བན་གྱི་གཡོག་བྱས་སོ༎

So Jacob went in to Rachel also, and he loved Rachel more than Leah, and served Laban for another seven years.

29:31  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་མང་བར་བྱམས་པ་དང་།  ལེ་ཨ་ལ་ཉུང་བར་བྱམས་པ་དེ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གཟིགས་པས།  ཁོང་གིས་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་ཕྲུ་གུ་མི་སྐྱེ་བར་རབས་ཆད་མར་མཛད་དོ།

When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

29:32  ལེ་ཨ་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་ནས་བུ་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་།  མོས།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ངའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གཟིགས་ཤིང་ང་ལ་བུ་ཞིག་གནང་བས།  ད་ངའི་ཁྱོས་ང་ལ་བྱམས་པ་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས།  ཁོའི་མིང་རུ་བྷེན་བཏགས་སོ།

And Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben, for she said, “Because the Lord has looked upon my affliction; for now my husband will love me.”

29:33  མོ་རང་ཡང་སྐྱར་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་ནས་བུ་གཞན་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ང་ལ་བུ་འདི་ཡང་གནང་བའི་རྐྱེན་ནི་ངའི་ཁྱོས་ང་ལ་མི་བྱམས་པ་དེ་ཁོང་གི་མཁྱེན་ནོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས།  ཁོའི་མིང་སིམ་ཨོན་བཏགས་སོ།

She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the Lord has heard that I am hated, he has given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.

29:34  མོ་ཡང་སྐྱར་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་ནས་བུ་གཞན་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པས།  ད་ངས་ཁོས་ཆེད་དུ་བུ་གསུམ་སྐྱེས་ཆར་པ་ཡིན་པས་ངའི་ཁྱོས་ང་ལ་སེམས་ཆགས་ནས་བྱམས་ཡོང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས།  དེའི་མིང་ལེ་ཝི་ཞེས་བཏགས་སོ།

Again she conceived and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will be attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.

29:35  ཡང་སྐྱར་མོ་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་པར་འགྱུར་ནས་བུ་གཞན་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་།  ད་ལན་ངས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་ཕུལ་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས།  བུ་དེའི་མིང་ལ་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་བཏགས་སོ།  དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་མོ་ལ་ཕྲུ་གུ་མ་སྐྱེས་སོ༎

And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “This time I will praise the Lord.” Therefore she called his name Judah. Then she ceased bearing.

 

བཀོད་པ 28 – Genesis 28

28:1  དེ་ནས་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་འབོད་ནས་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲད་ཅིང་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་པའི་བུད་མེད་དང་ཆང་ས་མ་བརྒྱབ་ཅིག

Then Isaac called Jacob and blessed him and directed him, “You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women.

28:2  འོན་ཀྱང་ཡུལ་མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡ་རུ་སོང་ཏེ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་པོ་ལགས་བེ་ཐུ་ཨེལ་གྱི་མི་བརྒྱུད་ནང་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ཞང་ལ་བན་གྱི་བུ་མོ་གཅིག་དང་ཆང་ས་རྒྱོབ་ཅིག

Arise, go to Paddan-aram to the house of Bethuel your mother’s father, and take as your wife from there one of the daughters of Laban your mother’s brother.

28:3  ཀུན་དབང་ལྡན་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཆང་ས་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་མཛད་དེ། ཁྱོད་ལ་བུ་ཕྲུག་མང་པོ་བྱུང་ནས་ཁྱོད་མི་རིགས་མང་པོའི་ཕ་རུ་འགྱུར་བར་ཤོག

God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you, that you may become a company of peoples.

28:4  ཁོང་གིས་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ལའང་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག  ཁྱོད་རང་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་པའི་ཡུལ་དེ་བདག་འཛིན་བྱེད་ཐུབ་པར་ཤོག  ཡུལ་འདི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་ལ་གནང་བ་ཡིན་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

May he give the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

28:5  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་ཡུལ་མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡ་རུ་བཏང་ཞིང།  དེར་ཁོའི་ཨ་ཞང་ལ་བན་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བསྡད་པའི་ཕྱིར་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ་།  ལ་བན་ནི་ཨ་རམ་པ་བེ་ཐུ་ཨེལ་གྱི་བུ་དང་ཡ་ཀོབ་དང་ཨེ་སའོའི་ཨ་མ་རེ་བྷེ་ཀའི་ཨ་ཇོ་ཡིན་ནོ༎

Thus Isaac sent Jacob away. And he went to Paddan-aram, to Laban, the son of Bethuel the Aramean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob’s and Esau’s mother.

28:6  ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ནས་ཡུལ་མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡ་རུ་ཆུང་མ་ཞིག་བླངས་པ་ལ་བཏང་ཡོད་པའི་སྐོར་ཨེ་སའོས་ཐོས་སོ།  ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནས་བུད་མེད་གཅིག་ཀྱང་ཆང་ས་མི་བརྒྱབ་ཅེས་བཀའ་གནང་བའི་སྐོར་ཡང་ཁོས་ཤེས་སོ།

Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram to take a wife from there, and that as he blessed him he directed him, “You must not take a wife from the Canaanite women,”

28:7  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཕ་མས་བཀའ་ལ་ཉན་ནས།  མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡའི་ཡུལ་ནང་སོང་བ་ཁོས་ཤེས་སོ།

and that Jacob had obeyed his father and his mother and gone to Paddan-aram.

28:8  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡུལ་ཀནན་གྱི་བུད་མེད་ལ་འདོད་པ་མེད་པ་དེ་ཨེ་སོས་ཤེས་སོ།

So when Esau saw that the Canaanite women did not please Isaac his father,

28:9  དེར་བརྟེན་ཁོ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་གྱི་བུ་ཨིཤ་མ་ཨེལ་གྱི་རྩར་སོང་སྟེ།  ཁོའི་བུ་མོ་མ་ཧ་ལད་ནེ་བ་ཡོད་ཀྱི་སྲིང་མོ་དང་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་བོ༎

Esau went to Ishmael and took as his wife, besides the wives he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebaioth.

28:10  ཡ་ཀོབ་བྷིར་ཤེ་བྷ་སྤངས་ཏེ་ཧ་རན་གྱི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་སོང་ངོ་།

Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran.

28:11  ཉི་མ་ནུབ་སྐབས་ཁོ་ས་གནས་དམ་པ་ཞིག་ཏུ་བསླེབས་ཏེ།  དེར་གུར་ཕུབ་ནས་རྡོ་གཅིག་གི་སྒང་ལ་མགོ་བཞག་སྟེ་གཉིད་ཉལ་ལོ།

And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep.

28:12  དེ་ནས་ཁོས་རྨི་ལམ་ཞིག་ནང་ས་གཞི་ནས་མཐོ་རིས་བར་ཐུག་པའི་སྐས་འཛེག་ཞིག་གི་སྒང་ཕོ་ཉ་རྣམས་ཡར་མར་འགྲོ་བ་མཐོང་ངོ་།

And he dreamed, and behold, there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it!

28:13  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོའི་འགྲམ་དུ་བཞེངས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  ཁོང་གིས་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་དང་ཨི་སཱག་གི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ང་ཡིན།  ཁྱོད་གཉིད་ལོག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་གཞི་འདི་ངས་ཁྱོད་དང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ལ་སྤྲད་པར་བྱའོ།

And behold, the Lord stood above it and said, “I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.

28:14  སའི་ཐལ་བ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་བརྒྱུད་ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་སྤེལ་ཏེ།  ཁྱོད་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་སྒོ་ནས་ངས་མི་རིགས་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པར་འགྱུར།

Your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south, and in you and your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

28:15  ང་ཁྱོད་དང་མཉམ་དུ་གནས་ཏེ་ཁྱོད་གང་དུ་སོང་ཡང་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྐྱབས་ནས་ཡུལ་འདིར་ཕྱིར་ལོག་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་དྲན་ཞིག  ངས་དམ་བཅའ་བྱེད་པ་ཚང་མ་མ་སྒྲུབ་བར་དུ་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྤངས་བར་མི་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

28:16  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་གཉིད་སད་ནས།  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ས་གནས་འདིར་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པ་དེ་ངས་མ་ཤེས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.”

28:17  ཁོ་འཇིགས་ཏེ་སྨྲས་པ།  ས་གནས་འདི་ཇི་ལྟར་འཇིགས་སུ་རུང་བ་རེད་འདུག འདི་ནི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཁང་ཁྱིམ་དང་མཐོ་རིས་སུ་འགྲོ་བའི་སྒོ་ཡིན་པ་འདྲ་ཞེས་ལབ་བོ།

And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.”

28:18  ཡ་ཀོབ་སང་ཞོགས་སྔ་དྲོ་ལངས་ནས་རང་གི་མགོའི་འོག་ཏུ་བཞག་པའི་རྡོ་དེ་རྟགས་སུ་བླངས་ནས་དེའི་སྒང་སྐྱུ་རུའི་སྣུམ་བླུགས་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བསྔོ་འབུལ་བྱས་སོ།

So early in the morning Jacob took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up for a pillar and poured oil on the top of it.

28:19  ཁོས་ས་གནས་དེའི་མིང་ལ་བྷེ་ཐེལ་ཞེས་བཏགས་སོ།  སྔོན་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའི་མིང་ལ་ལུཛ་ཟེར་རོ།

He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

28:20  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་མནའ་ཞིག་སྐྱེལ་ཏེ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་གལ་སྲིད་ཁྱེད་ང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བཞུགས་ཏེ་ང་འགྲུལ་བསྐྱོད་སྐབས་ང་ལ་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་གནང་ཞིང་གོས་དང་བཟའ་བཅའ་སོགས་གནང་ན།

Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear,

28:21  ངའི་ཡབ་ཀྱི་ཁང་པར་ཁམས་བདེ་ཐོག་ཕྱིར་ལོག་བཅུག་པར་གནང་ན།  ཁྱེད་ངའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཡིན་པ་དེ་བདེན་པར་ངོས་ལེན་པར་བྱའོ།

so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God,

28:22  རྡོ་འདི་བླངས་པའི་ས་གནས་འདི་ནི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཁྱིམ་དུ་འགྱུར་བ་དང་།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ང་ལ་གནང་བའི་ནོར་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་བཅུ་ཁག་ཁྱེད་ལ་འབུལ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ༎

and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God’s house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you.”

བཀོད་པ 27 – Genesis 27

27:1  ད་ཨི་སཱག་རྒས་ཏེ་མིག་གི་ནུས་པ་ཉམས་ནས་ལོང་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་།  རང་གི་བུ་རྒན་པ་ཨེ་སའོ་ལ་འབོད་ཅིང་ཁོ་ལ། ངའི་བུ། ཨེ་སའོས། ལགས་ང་འདིར་ཡོད་ཅེས་ཞུས་སོ།

When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, “My son”; and he answered, “Here I am.”

27:2  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་བལྟོས་ཤིག་ང་རྒས་ཡོད་པ་དང་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཤི་གྲབ་ཡོད།

He said, “Behold, I am old; I do not know the day of my death.

27:3  ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་མདའ་གཞུ་དེ་འཁྱེར་ནས་ནགས་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་སོང་ཏེ་ངའི་ཆེད་དུ་རི་དྭགས་ཤིག་འཁྱེར་ཤོག

Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me,

27:4  ངས་ཟ་འདོད་པས་ཁ་ཟས་དེ་བཟོས་ནས་ངའི་རྩར་འཁྱེར་ཤོག།  ངས་ཁ་ཟས་དེ་ཟ་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ང་མ་ཤི་བའི་སྔོན་དུ་ངའི་བྱིན་རླབས་མཐའ་མ་དེ་སྤྲད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

and prepare for me delicious food, such as I love, and bring it to me so that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.”

27:5  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཨེ་སའོ་མཉམ་དུ་གཏམ་བཤད་པའི་སྐབས་རེ་བྷེ་ཀས་ཉན་ནས་བསྡད་ཡོད་དོ།  དེར་བརྟེན་ཨེ་སའོས་རི་དྭགས་བསད་ཕྱིར་སོང་བའི་སྐབས་སུ།

Now Rebekah was listening when Isaac spoke to his son Esau. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game and bring it,

27:6  མོས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་འབོད་ནས་ཁོ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕས་ཨེ་སའོ་ལ།

Rebekah said to her son Jacob, “I heard your father speak to your brother Esau,

27:7  རི་དྭགས་ཤིག་བསད་ནས་ཁ་ཟས་བཟོས་པའི་བཀའ་གནང་སོང་།  དེ་ཟ་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ང་མ་ཤི་སྔོན་དུ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མདུན་དུ་བྱིན་རླབས་སྟེར་བར་བྱ་ཟེར་བ་ངས་ཐོས་བྱུང་།

‘Bring me game and prepare for me delicious food, that I may eat it and bless you before the Lord before I die.’

27:8  ད་ངའི་བུ་ངའི་གཏམ་ལ་ཉོན་ཞིག་དང་།  ངས་སྨྲས་པ་ལྟར་བྱོས་ཤིག།

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice as I command you.

27:9  སོང་ནས་ཁྱུའི་ནང་ནས་ར་གཞོན་པ་རྒྱགས་པ་གཉིས་འཁྲིད་ཤོག་དང་།  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་ལ་འདོད་པའི་ཁ་ཟས་བཙོས་ནས་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

Go to the flock and bring me two good young goats, so that I may prepare from them delicious food for your father, such as he loves.

27:10  ཁ་ཟས་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཕ་ལ་འཁྱེར་ནས་སྤྲོད་ཅིག་དང་།  ཁོང་གི་ཟས་ནས་མ་གྲོངས་པའི་སྔོན་དུ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ཡོང་ཞེས་ལབ་བོ།

And you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies.”

27:11  འོན་ཀྱང་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་མ་ལ།  ཨེ་སའོ་ནི་སྤུ་ཅན་ཡིན་པ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིསཤེས་ཀྱི་ཡོད། ངའི་ལུས་ནི་འཇམ་པོ་ཡིན།

But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man.

27:12  གལ་ཏེ་ངའི་ཡབ་ཀྱིས་ང་ལ་འཆང་ན་ང་མགོ་བསྐོར་མཁན་དུ་འགྱུར་ཏེ།  བྱིན་རླབས་ཀྱི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ང་ལ་དམོད་པ་ཞིག་འཕོག་ཡོང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing.”

27:13  མས་ལན་དུ་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ལ་འཕོག་པའི་དམོད་པ་དེ་ང་ལ་འཕོག་པར་ཤོག་ཅིག  ད་ངས་ལབ་པ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་སོང་སྟེ་ར་ལེགས་པ་གཉིས་བསད་དེ་འཁྱེར་ཤོག

His mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, bring them to me.”

27:14  དེར་བརྟེན་ཁོ་སོང་ནས་ར་བསད་དེ་ཤ་དེ་མ་ལ་སྤྲད་པ་དང་།  ཨ་མས་ཕ་ལ་དགའ་བའི་ཁ་ཟས་ཞིམ་པོ་ཞིག་བཟོས་སོ།

So he went and took them and brought them to his mother, and his mother prepared delicious food, such as his father loved.

27:15  ཨ་མས་ནང་ལ་བཞག་ཡོད་པའི་ཨེ་སའོའི་གོས་ལེགས་པ་ཞིག་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་བསྐོན་སྟེ།

Then Rebekah took the best garments of Esau her older son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son.

27:16  རའི་ལྤགས་པ་ཞིག་ཁོའིལག་པ་དང་མཇིང་པར་བཏུམས་ནས།

And the skins of the young goats she put on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck.

27:17  ཨ་མས་ཁ་ཟས་ཞིམ་པོ་དེ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བསྲེག་པས་བག་ལེབ་དེ་ཁོ་ལ་སྤྲད་དོ།

And she put the delicious food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

27:18  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་རང་གི་ཕའི་རྩར་སོང་ནས་ཕ་ལ།  ངའི་ཡབ་ལགས་ཞུས་པ་དང་། ཕས་ཁོ་ལ།  བུ་ཁྱོད་རྒན་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཡང་ན་ཆུང་བ་དེ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།

So he went in to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?”

27:19  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས།  ང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་རྒན་པ་ཨེ་སའོ་ཡིན།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་གསུངས་པ་ལྟར་ངས་བྱས་ཡོད་པས།  ད་ཁྱེད་བཞེངས་ཏེ་ངས་ཁྱེད་རང་གི་ཆེད་དུ་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་བའི་ཤ་དེ་བཞེས་ནས་ང་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ཞིག་ཅེས་ཞུས་པས།

Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me; now sit up and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.”

27:20  ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གིས།  བུ་ཁྱོད་ལ་འདི་ཙམ་མགྱོགས་པོ་ཞིག་ཇི་ལྟར་རི་དྭགས་ཐོབ་ཅེས་དྲིས་པས།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ལན་དུ།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ང་ལ་རོགས་གནང་བར་མཛད་དོ་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ།

But Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He answered, “Because the Lord your God granted me success.”

27:21  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ངའི་ཉེ་བར་ཤོག་ཅིག་དང་།  ཁྱོད་ཨེ་སའོ་ཡིན་མིན་ངས་འཆང་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་དང་།

Then Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not.”

27:22  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཕའི་ཉེ་བར་སོང་ཏེ་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་འཆང་བས།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྐད་ནི་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་སྐད་ལྟར་འདྲ་བས་ལག་པ་ནི་ཨེ་སའོའི་ལག་པ་ལྟར་འདྲ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, who felt him and said, “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.”

27:23  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁོ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཡིན་པ་ཁོང་གི་ངོ་མ་ཤེས་སོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཁོའི་ལག་པ་ནི་སྤུ་ཅན་ཨེ་སའོའི་ལག་པ་ལྟར་ཡོད་པའོ།  ཁོང་གིས་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲད་གྲབ་སྐབས་སུ།

And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau’s hands. So he blessed him.

27:24  ཡང་སྐྱར་ཁྱོད་བདེན་པར་ཨེ་སའོ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།  ཁོས་ང་ཨེ་སའོ་ཡིན་ཞེས་ལན་རྒྱབ་བོ།

He said, “Are you really my son Esau?” He answered, “I am.”

27:25  དེ་ནས་ཨི་སཱག་གིས།  ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ངའི་དོན་དུ་ཤ་ཕྲན་བུའི་ཞིག་འཁྱེར་ཤོག ངས་དེ་ལས་ཟས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པར་བྱ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཡབ་ལ་ཤ་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་ཡང་ཕུལ་ལོ།

Then he said, “Bring it near to me, that I may eat of my son’s game and bless you.” So he brought it near to him, and he ate; and he brought him wine, and he drank.

27:26  དེ་ནས་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ།  བུ་ཁྱོད་ངའི་ཉེ་བར་ཡོང་ནས་འོ་བྱེད་ཅིག་གསུངས་པ་དང་།

Then his father Isaac said to him, “Come near and kiss me, my son.”

27:27  ཁོ་ཉེ་བར་ཡོང་ནས་འོ་བྱས་པས།  ཕས་ཁོའི་གོས་ཀྱི་དྲི་མ་བསྣུམས་ཏེ་ཁོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ཞིང།  ངའི་བུའི་དྲི་ཞིམ་ནི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པའི་ཞིང་གི་དྲི་ཞིམ་དང་འདྲའོ།

So he came near and kissed him. And Isaac smelled the smell of his garments and blessed him and said, “See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed!

27:28  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ནམ་མཁའ་ནས་ཟིལ་པ་གནང་ཞིང་།  ཞིང་ནི་ས་ལུད་འཛོམ་པོ་བྱུང་བར་ཤོག།  འབྲུ་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་མང་པོ་གནང་བར་ཤོག

May God give you of the dew of heaven and of the fatness of the earth and plenty of grain and wine.

27:29  མི་རིགས་མང་པོས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་གཡོག་བྱེད་དེ་ཁྱོད་ལ་མགོ་སྒུར་བར་ཤོག  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྤུན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་ནས་ཁྱོད་གཙོ་བོར་འགྱུར་ཏེ།  ཨ་མའི་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་གུས་འདུད་བྱེད་པར་ཤོག  ཁྱོད་ལ་དམོད་པ་གཏོང་མཁན་རྣམས་ལ་དམོད་པ་ཕོག་སྟེ་བྱིན་རླབས་གཏོང་མཁན་རྣམས་ལ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པར་ཤོག་ཅེས་གསུངས་སོ༎

Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, and blessed be everyone who blesses you!”

27:30  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་བྱིན་རླབས་དེ་དག་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་གནང་ཚར་བའི་རྗེས་སུ།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཐོན་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཁོའི་ཨ་ཇོ་རྒན་པ་ཨེ་སའོས་རི་དྭགས་བསད་དེ་ལོག་འོང་ངོ་།

As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

27:31  ཁོས་ཀྱང་ཁ་ཟས་ཞིམ་པོ་ཞིག་བཟོས་ཏེ་རང་གི་ཕ་ལ་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་ནས།  ངའི་པ་ལགས།  ད་ཁྱེད་རང་བཞེངས་ཏེ་ངས་བཟོས་པའི་ཁ་ཟས་བཞེས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ང་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནོང་ཞིག་ཞུས་པ་དང་།

He also prepared delicious food and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, “Let my father arise and eat of his son’s game, that you may bless me.”

27:32  ཁྱོད་སུ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་དྲིས་པས།  ང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་རྒན་པ་ཨེ་སའོ་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།

His father Isaac said to him, “Who are you?” He answered, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.”

27:33  ཨི་སཱག་ལུས་འདར་ཞིང་།  རི་དྭགས་ཤིག་བསད་ནས་ང་ལ་སྟེར་བའི་མི་དེ་སུ་ཡིན་ནམ།  ཁྱོད་མ་ཡོང་བའི་སྔོན་དུ་ཁོས་སྤྲད་པའི་ཁ་ཟས་ཟས་ནས་ངས་ཁོ་ལ་མཐའ་མའི་བྱིན་རླབས་དེ་སྤྲད་ཚར་བས།  དེར་བརྟེན་དེ་ནི་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཁོ་ལ་བདག་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

Then Isaac trembled very violently and said, “Who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate it all before you came, and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed.”

27:34  ཨེ་སའོས་དེ་ཐོས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ངུས་ཤིང་ཕ་ལ།  ང་ལའང་བྱིན་རླབས་ཤིག་གནང་རོགས་ཞུས་པས།

As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, “Bless me, even me also, O my father!”

27:35  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྤུན་ཡོང་ནས་ང་ལ་མགོ་བསྐོར་བཏང་ཞིང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཚང་མ་འཕྲོག་སོང་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

But he said, “Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing.”

27:36  དེ་ནས་ཨེ་སའོས།  ཁོས་ང་ལ་ལན་གཉིས་མགོ་བསྐོར་བཏང་བས་ཁོའི་མིང་བདེན་པར་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཡིན།  དང་པོ་ཁོས་ངའི་སྔོན་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་ཐོབ་ཐང་འཁྱེར་བ་དང་།  ད་ངའི་བྱིན་རླབས་ཡང་འཁྱེར་རོ།  ད་དུང་ཡང་ངའི་ཕྱིར་བྱིན་རླབས་ཤིག་མེད་དམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།

Esau said, “Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me these two times. He took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing.” Then he said, “Have you not reserved a blessing for me?”

27:37  ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ལན་དུ།  ངས་ཁོ་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་དཔོན་པོ་བྱེད་པར་བསྐོས་ཏེ་སྤུན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཁོའི་གཡོག་ཏུ་བཏང་ངོ་།  ངས་ཁོ་ལ་འབྲུ་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་སྤྲད་པ་ཡིན།  ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཆེད་དུ་ངས་གང་ཡང་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་ཅེས་་གསུངས་སོ།

Isaac answered and said to Esau, “Behold, I have made him lord over you, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants, and with grain and wine I have sustained him. What then can I do for you, my son?”

27:38  འོན་ཀྱང་ཨེ་སའོས་མུ་མཐུད་ནས་ཕ་ལ་ཞུ་བ་ཕུལ་ནས་ཁྱེད་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མེད་དམ།  ང་ལ་ཡང་བྱིན་རླབས་ཤིག་གནང་རོགས་ཤེས་ངུ་འགོ་ཚུགས་སོ།

Esau said to his father, “Have you but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father.” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.

27:39  དེ་ནས་ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ནམ་མཁའི་ཟིལ་པ་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཐོབ་མི་ཡོང་།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཆེད་དུ་ས་ལུད་འཛོམས་པོ་བྱུང་མི་ཡོང་།

Then Isaac his father answered and said to him: “Behold, away from the fatness of the earth shall your dwelling be, and away from the dew of heaven on high.

27:40  ཁྱོད་ནི་རལ་གྲིའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་འཚོ་བར་བྱ།  ཁྱོད་སྤུན་གྱི་གཡོག་པོ་འགྱུར་བར་བྱ། འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ངོ་ལོག་བྱེད་པ་དང་ཁོའི་དབང་ནས་བྲལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

By your sword you shall live, and you shall serve your brother; but when you grow restless you shall break his yoke from your neck.”

27:41  ཕས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་སྤྲད་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཨེ་སའོས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་སྡང་པོ་བྱས་སོ། ཕ་གྲོངས་པའི་མྱ་ངན་གྱི་ཉིན་མོ་དེ་ཉེ་བར་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ངས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་གསོད་པར་བྱ་ཞེས་བསམ་མོ།

Now Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him, and Esau said to himself, “The days of mourning for my father are approaching; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”

27:42  འོན་ཀྱང་ཨེ་སའོས་འཆར་གཞིའི་སྐོར་ལ་རེ་བྷེ་ཀས་ཐོས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་མོས་ཡ་ཀོབ་འབོད་ཅིང་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ཇོ་ཨེ་སའོས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བསད་ནས་དགྲ་ཤ་ལེན་པའི་འཆར་གཞི་བྱེད་བཞིན་ཡོད་པས།

But the words of Esau her older son were told to Rebekah. So she sent and called Jacob her younger son and said to him, “Behold, your brother Esau comforts himself about you by planning to kill you.

27:43  ད་བུ་ངའི་གཏམ་ལ་ཉོན་ཞིག།  ད་ཁྱོད་མྱུར་དུ་ཡུལ་ཧ་རན་དུ་ངའི་ཨ་ཇོ་ལ་བན་གྱི་རྩར་སོང་ཞིག

Now therefore, my son, obey my voice. Arise, flee to Laban my brother in Haran

27:44  ཨ་ཇོ་ཨེ་སའོའི་ཁོང་ཁྲོ་མ་ཞི་བར་དུ་དེར་སྡོད་ཅིག

and stay with him a while, until your brother’s fury turns away—

27:45  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་གང་བྱས་པའི་སྐོར་ཨེ་སའོས་བརྗེད་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་འབོད་དུ་བཏང་ཡོང་།  ངས་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་ངའི་བུ་གཉིས་ཀར་ཉིན་གཅིག་རང་ལ་བློས་གཏོང་ངམ་༎

until your brother’s anger turns away from you, and he forgets what you have done to him. Then I will send and bring you from there. Why should I be bereft of you both in one day?”

27:46  རེ་བྷེ་ཀས་ཨི་སཱག་ལ།  ཨེ་སའོ་ཕྱི་རྒྱལ་བའི་ཧི་ཏི་པའི་ཆུང་མ་རྣམས་དང་ཞེན་པ་ལོག་ནས་ཐང་ཆད་ཡོད།  གལ་སྲིད་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ཧི་ཏི་པའི་བུ་མོ་དང་ཆང་ས་བརྒྱབ་ན་ང་ཤི་ན་ཡང་སྒྲིགས་ཤེས་སྨྲས་སོ༎

Then Rebekah said to Isaac, “I loathe my life because of the Hittite women. If Jacob marries one of the Hittite women like these, one of the women of the land, what good will my life be to me?”
