བཀོད་པ 44 – Genesis 44

44:1  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཁང་པའི་གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་ལ།  མི་འདི་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་འབྲུ་ཚད་མེད་རྒྱོངས་ཤིག་དང་།  འབྲུའི་རིན་དངུལ་དེའང་སོ་སོའི་ཕད་གོག་ཁར་བཞོག་ཅིག

Then he commanded the steward of his house, “Fill the men’s sacks with food, as much as they can carry, and put each man’s money in the mouth of his sack,

44:2  ངའི་དངུལ་གྱི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་བུ་ཆུང་ཤོས་ཀྱི་ཕད་གོག་གི་སྟེང་དངུལ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བཞོག་ཅིག  ཁོང་གི་བཀའ་གནང་བ་བཞིན་ཁོས་བྱས་སོ།

and put my cup, the silver cup, in the mouth of the sack of the youngest, with his money for the grain.” And he did as Joseph told him.

44:3  སྔ་དྲོ་ནམ་ལངས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཁོང་ཚོ་རང་རང་གི་བོང་བུ་འཁྲིད་དེ་འགྲོར་བཅུག་གོ།

As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away with their donkeys.

44:4  ཁོང་ཚོ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ནས་ཐག་རིང་སླེབས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་ལ། ད་ཁོང་ཚོའི་རྗེས་སུ་མགྱོགས་པོ་སོང་ནས།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བཟང་ལན་ངན་གྱིས་འཇལ་བ་དེ་གང་ཡིན་ནམ།

They had gone only a short distance from the city. Now Joseph said to his steward, “Up, follow after the men, and when you overtake them, say to them, ‘Why have you repaid evil for good?

44:5  ངའི་སྦྱིན་བདག་གི་དངུལ་གྱི་ཕོར་པ་དེ་ག་རེའི་དོན་དུ་བརྐུས་པ་ཡིན་ནམ། ཕོར་པ་དེའི་ནང་ཁོང་གི་བཞེས་པ་དང་མོ་རྒྱབ་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་བེད་སྤྱོད་གནང་ངོ་།  ཕོར་པ་འདི་བརྐུས་པ་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཉེས་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ལབ་ཅིག་ཟེར་སྨྲས་སོ།

Is it not from this that my lord drinks, and by this that he practices divination? You have done evil in doing this.’”

44:6  དེ་ནས་གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོས་ཁོ་ཚོའི་རྗེས་ཟིན་པ་དང་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་གང་བསླབ་པ་ལྟར་སྨྲས་པས།

When he overtook them, he spoke to them these words.

44:7  ཁོང་ཚོས་ཁོང་ལ།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ག་རེའི་བཤད་པ་དེ་ང་ཚོས་མི་ཤེས།  དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ལས་ངན་གང་ཡང་བྱས་མེད།

They said to him, “Why does my lord speak such words as these? Far be it from your servants to do such a thing!

44:8  ང་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་ནས་ཐོབ་པའི་དངུལ་དེ་ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནས་ཕྱིར་ལོག་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་བ་ཡིན།  ད་ང་ཚོའི་སྦྱི་བདག་གི་ཁང་པ་ནས་གསེར་རམ་དངུལ་ཅི་ཕྱིར་བརྐུས་བསམ།

Behold, the money that we found in the mouths of our sacks we brought back to you from the land of Canaan. How then could we steal silver or gold from your lord’s house?

44:9  གལ་ཏེ་ང་ཚོ་ལས་མི་གཅིག་གིས་བརྐུས་ཡོད་ན་ཁོ་ཤི་དགོས།  ང་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བྲན་གཡོག་བྱེད་པར་བྱ་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ།

Whichever of your servants is found with it shall die, and we also will be my lord’s servants.”

44:10  ཁོང་གིས་སྨྲས་པ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ལབ་པ་བཞིན་ངས་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡིན།  སུས་བརྐུས་ཡོད་ན་ཁོ་ངའི་བྲན་གཡོག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་རོ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གཞན་ཚོར་ཉེས་སྐྱོན་མི་ཡོང་།

He said, “Let it be as you say: he who is found with it shall be my servant, and the rest of you shall be innocent.”

44:11  དེ་ནས་ཁོང་ཚོས་མགྱོགས་པོ་རང་གི་ཕད་གོག་ས་རུ་ཕབ་ནས་བཀྲོལ་བ་དང་།

Then each man quickly lowered his sack to the ground, and each man opened his sack.

44:12  གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་དེས་བུ་  རྒན་ཤོས་ནས་ཆུང་ཤོས་བར་གྱི་ཕད་གོག་རྣམས་བཀྲོལ་ནས་བཙལ་བས།  ཕོར་པ་དེ་བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་གྱི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་ནས་ཐོབ་བོ།

And he searched, beginning with the eldest and ending with the youngest. And the cup was found in Benjamin’s sack.

44:13  དེ་ནས་ཨ་ཇོ་རྣམས་སེམས་སྡུག་ཅིང་གོས་རྣམས་ཧྲལ་ནས་རང་རང་གི་ཕད་གོག་བོང་བུར་བཀལ་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དུ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་གོ།

Then they tore their clothes, and every man loaded his donkey, and they returned to the city.

44:14  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ནི་རང་གི་སྤུན་རྣམས་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་ཁང་པར་སོང་ནས། ཁོང་དེ་ག་རང་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་།  དེ་ཚོས་ཁོང་ལ་མགོ་སྒུར་ནས་ཕྱག་ཚལ་ལོ།

When Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, he was still there. They fell before him to the ground.

44:15  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོང་ཚོར།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བྱས་པའི་ལས་འདི་གང་ཡིན།  ང་ལྟ་བུའི་མི་ཞིག་གིས་མངོན་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྐོར་ལ་བརྟག་དསྤྱད་བྱེད་ཐུབ་པར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་མི་ཤེས་སམ་སྨྲས་སོ།

Joseph said to them, “What deed is this that you have done? Do you not know that a man like me can indeed practice divination?”

44:16  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱས་ཞུས་པ། ད་ཁྱེད་ལ་ཇི་ལྟར་ལན་རྒྱབ་ནུས།  ང་ཚོས་མ་བརྐུས་ཞུས་ནའང་མི་ཕན།  ང་ཚོའི་ཉེས་སྐྱོན་དེ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མངོན་པར་མཛད་དོ།  སུའི་ནང་ནས་ཕོར་པ་ཐོན་པ་ཁོ་དང་ངེད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བྲན་གཡོག་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ།

And Judah said, “What shall we say to my lord? What shall we speak? Or how can we clear ourselves? God has found out the guilt of your servants; behold, we are my lord’s servants, both we and he also in whose hand the cup has been found.”

44:17  འོན་ཀྱང་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས།  ང་ནི་དེ་འདྲའི་ལས་ནམ་ཡང་བྱས་མི་ཡོང་།  སུའི་ལག་ནས་ཕོར་པ་ཐོབ་པ་དེ་གཅིག་པོ་ངའི་བྲན་གཡོག་བྱེད་དགོས་སོ།  ལྷག་འཕྲོས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ནི་ཕའི་རྩར་ཞི་བདེའི་ངང་སོང་ཞིག།

But he said, “Far be it from me that I should do so! Only the man in whose hand the cup was found shall be my servant. But as for you, go up in peace to your father.”

44:18  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩར་ཡོང་ནས་ཞུས་པ།  གཙོ་བོ་ལགས།  ཁྱེད་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལྟར་ཡིན་པས།  ང་མཉམ་དུ་ཐུགས་མ་ཁྲོ་བར་ཞུ་བ་གཅིག་པུ་དེ་གསན་པར་མཛོད།

Then Judah went up to him and said, “Oh, my lord, please let your servant speak a word in my lord’s ears, and let not your anger burn against your servant, for you are like Pharaoh himself.

44:19  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ང་ཚོ་ལ་རང་གི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་ཆུང་གྱི་སྐོར་ལ་འདྲི་བ་གནང་བས།

My lord asked his servants, saying, ‘Have you a father, or a brother?’

44:20  ང་ཚོ་ལ་ཕ་རྒན་ཞིག་ཡོད།  ཁོང་རྒས་པའི་དུས་སུ་སྐྱེས་པའི་བུ་ཞིག་ཡོད་ཅེས་དང་། བུ་དེའི་ཨ་ཇོ་གྲོངས་ཚར་བས།  བུ་འདིའི་ཡུམ་གྱི་ཕྲུ་གུ་འདི་ལས་མེད་པས་རྐྱེན་ཁོའི་ཡབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་གཅེས་པར་གནང་ངོ་།

And we said to my lord, ‘We have a father, an old man, and a young brother, the child of his old age. His brother is dead, and he alone is left of his mother’s children, and his father loves him.’

44:21  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཁོ་ལ་གཟིགས་འདོད་ཡོད་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་འདིར་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་བའི་བཀའ་གནང་བ་དང་།

Then you said to your servants, ‘Bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes on him.’

44:22  བུ་འདི་ནི་རང་གི་ཕ་དང་བྲལ་མི་ཐུབ།  གལ་སྲིད་བྲལ་ན་ཕ་དེ་གསོན་པོར་གནས་མི་ཐུབ་བོ་ཞེས་ང་ཚོས་སྨྲས་པ་ཡིན།

We said to my lord, ‘The boy cannot leave his father, for if he should leave his father, his father would die.’

44:23  འོན་ཀྱང་བུ་དེ་འཁྲིད་མ་ཡོང་ན་ང་ཚོ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཞལ་མཇལ་མི་ཐུབ་ཅེས་བཀའ་གནང་བས།

Then you said to your servants, ‘Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you shall not see my face again.’

44:24  ང་ཚོ་ཕའི་རྩར་ལོག་ནས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་གང་གསུངས་པ་དེ་ཁོང་ལ་བཤད་པ་ཡིན།

“When we went back to your servant my father, we told him the words of my lord.

44:25  དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོར་ཁ་ཟས་ཉོ་ཕྱིར་འགྲོ་བར་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ་།

And when our father said, ‘Go again, buy us a little food,’

44:26  དེའི་སྐབས་ང་ཚོས་དེ་ལྟར་ལབ་པ་ཡིན།  སྤུན་ཆུང་ཤོས་ང་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སོང་ན་ང་ཚོ་མི་འདིའི་མདུན་དུ་སླེབས་ཐུབ་ཡོང་།  ང་ཚོའི་སྤུན་ཆུང་ཤོས་དེ་ང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་མ་སོང་ན་ང་ཚོ་འགྲོ་གི་མིན།

we said, ‘We cannot go down. If our youngest brother goes with us, then we will go down. For we cannot see the man’s face unless our youngest brother is with us.’

44:27  ང་ཚོའི་ཕ་ཡིས་ངེད་རྣམས་ལ།  ངའི་ཆུང་མ་ར་ཧེལ་ལ་བུ་གཉིས་སྐྱེས་པ་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཤེས་པས།

Then your servant my father said to us, ‘You know that my wife bore me two sons.

44:28  བུ་གཅིག་ནི་ང་ནས་བྲལ་སོང་།  ཁོ་ལ་ནགས་ཀྱི་གཅན་གཟན་གྱི་དུམ་བུར་ཧྲལ་ཡོད་སྲིད་དོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཁོ་ང་ནས་བྲལ་བ་ནས་བཟུང་ནམ་ཡང་མཐོང་མ་བྱུང་།

One left me, and I said, “Surely he has been torn to pieces,” and I have never seen him since.

44:29  ད་བུ་དེ་ལ་ཡང་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འཁྲིད་དེ་ཁོ་ལ་རྐྱེན་ཞིག་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་ན།  དེའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱིས་ང་ལྟ་བུའི་མི་རྒས་པོ་ཞིག་ཤི་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

If you take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs in evil to Sheol.’

44:30-31  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱས་མུ་མཐུད་ནས།  ང་ནི་བུ་འདི་མེད་པར་ཕའི་རྩར་ལོག་པ་ཡིན་ན། བུ་དེ་ང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་མེད་པ་མཐོང་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཕ་ཤི་ཡོང་།  གང་ལ་ཞེ་ན། ངའི་ཕ་དང་བུ་དེ་སྲོག་གཅིག་ཡིན།  ཁོང་ནི་ཧ་ཅང་རྒས་པོ་ཡིན་པས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཁོང་ཤི་བར་འགྱུར།

“Now therefore, as soon as I come to your servant my father, and the boy is not with us, then, as his life is bound up in the boy’s life, as soon as he sees that the boy is not with us, he will die, and your servants will bring down the gray hairs of your servant our father with sorrow to Sheol.

44:32  བུ་འདི་ཕྱིར་ལོག་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་བ་ལ་ངས་ཁས་ལེན་ཞུས་ཡོད།  གལ་ཏེ་ཁོ་ཕའི་རྩར་ཕྱིར་ལོག་འཁྲིད་མ་ཐུབ་ན་དེའི་ཉེས་སྐྱོན་དེ་ངའི་མི་ཚེ་གང་འཁུར་བ་ལ་མནའ་སྐྱེལ་ཡོད།

For your servant became a pledge of safety for the boy to my father, saying, ‘If I do not bring him back to you, then I shall bear the blame before my father all my life.’

44:33  གཙོ་བོ་ལགས།  བུ་འདིའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བྲན་གཡོག་ཏུ་བསྡད་ཀྱི་ཡིན། ཁོ་ལ་རང་གི་ཨ་ཇོ་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འགྲོ་འཇུག་རོགས་གནང་།

Now therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the boy as a servant to my lord, and let the boy go back with his brothers.

44:34  ཁོ་མེད་པར་ང་ཕའི་རྩར་ཇི་ལྟར་ལོག་ཐུབ་བམ།  ངས་ཕ་ལ་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བྱུང་བ་དེ་མཐོང་བར་ང་མི་ནུས་སོ་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ༎

For how can I go back to my father if the boy is not with me? I fear to see the evil that would find my father.”

བཀོད་པ 43 – Genesis 43

43:1  ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནང་མུ་གེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེ་རུ་ཕྱིན་པས།

Now the famine was severe in the land.

43:2  ཨི་ཇིབ་ནས་ཉོས་པའི་འབྲུ་རྣམས་ཟས་ཚར་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་ཚོ་ལ།  ང་ཚོའི་ཕྱིར་འབྲུ་ཉོ་བའི་ཕྱིར་སོང་ཞིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།

And when they had eaten the grain that they had brought from Egypt, their father said to them, “Go again, buy us a little food.”

43:3  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱས་ཕ་ལ།  གལ་ཏེ་ང་ཚོས་རང་གི་སྤུན་ཆུང་ཤོས་དེ་འཁྲིད་མ་འགྲོ་ན་ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་མཇལ་མི་ཐུབ་ཅེས་ཁོང་གིས་ཉེན་བརྡ་གནང་ཡོད།

But Judah said to him, “The man solemnly warned us, saying, ‘You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’

43:4  གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སྤུན་དེ་བཏང་བར་མོས་མཐུན་བྱས་ན་ང་ཚོས་ཁ་ཟས་ཉོ་བར་འགྲོ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

If you will send our brother with us, we will go down and buy you food.

43:5  གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་ཚོའི་སྤུན་དེ་མ་བཏང་ན་ང་ཚོ་འབྲུ་ཉོ་བར་མི་འགྲོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་སྤུན་མེད་ན་ང་ཚོ་སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་རྩར་བཅར་མི་ཐུབ་ཅེས་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོར་གསུངས་ཡོད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

But if you will not send him, we will not go down, for the man said to us, ‘You shall not see my face, unless your brother is with you.’”

43:6  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མི་དེ་ལསྤུན་ཆུང་བ་གཅིག་ཡོད་ཅེས་བཤད་ནས།  ག་རེ་དོན་དུ་ངའི་ཐོག་དཀའ་ངལ་དེ་འདྲ་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་ངམ།

Israel said, “Why did you treat me so badly as to tell the man that you had another brother?”

43:7  ཁོང་ཚོས་ལན་དུ།  སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་དེས་ང་ཚོའི་ནང་མིའི་སྐོར་ལ་དྲི་བ་མང་པོ་དྲིས་པས།  ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོའི་ཕ་གསོན་པོ་ཡོད་མེད་དང་།  ང་ཚོ་ལ་སྤུན་གཞན་ཞིག་ཡོད་མེད་ཅེས་དྲིས་པས།  ང་ཚོས་ཁོང་གི་དྲི་བ་ལ་ལན་དེ་ལྟར་རྒྱབ་དགོས་བྱུང་།  ཁོང་གིས་ང་ཚོའི་སྤུན་ང་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འདིར་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་དགོས་ཤེས་ལབ་ཀྱི་རེད་ཟེར་ཇི་ལྟར་ཤེས་སམ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

They replied, “The man questioned us carefully about ourselves and our kindred, saying, ‘Is your father still alive? Do you have another brother?’ What we told him was in answer to these questions. Could we in any way know that he would say, ‘Bring your brother down’?”

43:8  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱས་རང་གི་ཕ་ལ།  བུ་དེ་ལ་ང་མཉམ་དུ་བཏང་རོགས་གནང་།  ང་ཚོ་ལམ་སང་འབྲུ་ཉོ་བར་ཐོན་ནས་ང་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ལྟོགས་པར་མ་ལུས་པར་གསོན་པོར་གནས་ཡོང་།

And Judah said to Israel his father, “Send the boy with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.

43:9  ཁོའི་སྲོག་གི་འགན་དེ་ངས་འཁུརཡོང་།  ང་ཚོའི་སྤུན་དེ་འཁྲིད་ནས་གལ་སྲིད་ཁོ་ཕྱིར་སློག་འཁྲིད་མ་ཡོང་ ན།  ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་དྲུང་དུ་ཚེ་གང་ཉེས་ཅན་དུ་བརྩི་བར་བྱའོ།

I will be a pledge of his safety. From my hand you shall require him. If I do not bring him back to you and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever.

43:10  ང་ཚོ་ད་བར་འགོར་མེད་ན་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་ཐེང་མ་གཉིས་ཙམ་འཁོར་ཡོད་འགྲོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

If we had not delayed, we would now have returned twice.”

43:11  དེ་ནས་ཕ་ཡིས་ཁོང་ཚོར།  ད་ང་ཚོས་དེ་འདྲ་བྱེད་དགོས་ན་ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་ལ་ཡུལ་ནང་སྐྱེས་པའི་ལོ་ཐོག་ལེགས་ཤོས་དང་། དྲི་ཞིམ་ལྡན་པའི་བྱུགས་སྨན་དང་། སྦྲང་རྩི་དང་།  སྨན་སྣ་དང་།  སྟར་ག་ལ་སོགས་པ་སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་ལ་འབུལ་བའི་ཕྱིར་འཁྱེར་ཞིག

Then their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: take some of the choice fruits of the land in your bags, and carry a present down to the man, a little balm and a little honey, gum, myrrh, pistachio nuts, and almonds.

43:12  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་དངུལ་དང་ད་ལྟའི་དངུལ་བཅས་ཉིས་ལྡབ་འཁྱེར་ནས་ཁོང་ལ་འབུལ་དགོས།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་གི་སྟེང་བཞག་ཡོད་པའི་དངུལ་དེ་ཕྱིར་སློག་བྱེད་དགོས་སོ།  གཅིག་བྱས་ན་དེ་ནོར་འཁྲུལ་གྱི་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་འགྲོ།

Take double the money with you. Carry back with you the money that was returned in the mouth of your sacks. Perhaps it was an oversight.

43:13  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྤུན་ཆུང་བ་དེ་འཁྲིད་ནས་མི་དེའི་རྩར་སོང་ཞིག

Take also your brother, and arise, go again to the man.

43:14  སྤྱི་ཁྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྤུན་ཤིམ་ཨོན་དང་བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་གཉིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ལོག་འཇུག་པར་ཀུན་དབང་ལྡན་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཐུགས་རྗེ་གཟིགས་པར་ཤོག།  ངའི་བུ་ཚོའི་ཆེད་དུ་མྱ་ངན་བྱེད་དགོས་ན་ཡང་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

May God Almighty grant you mercy before the man, and may he send back your other brother and Benjamin. And as for me, if I am bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.”

43:15  དེ་ནས་སྤུན་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱག་རྟགས་དང་།  དངུལ་ཉིས་ལྡབ་དང་།  བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་འཁྲིད་དེ་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་ཐོན་ནོ།  དེར་ཁོ་ཚོ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་མདུན་དུ་བཅར་རོ།

So the men took this present, and they took double the money with them, and Benjamin. They arose and went down to Egypt and stood before Joseph.

43:16  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་ནས་རང་གི་ཁྱིམ་གི་གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་ལ། མི་འདི་ཚོ་ངའི་ཁང་པར་འཁྲིད་ཅིག།  དེ་རིང་ཉིན་གུང་མི་འདི་ཚོ་ང་མཉམ་དུ་ཁ་ཟས་ཟ་བར་འགྱུར།  སེམས་ཅན་ཞིག་བསད་ནས་མགྲོན་ཞིག་བཤོམས་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

When Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the steward of his house, “Bring the men into the house, and slaughter an animal and make ready, for the men are to dine with me at noon.”

43:17  གཡོག་པོས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་བཀའ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱས་ནས།  སྤུན་རྣམས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་ཁང་པའི་ནང་དུ་འཁྲིད་དོ།

The man did as Joseph told him and brought the men to Joseph’s house.

43:18  དེ་ཚོས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་ཁང་པར་འཁྲིད་སྐབས་ཁོང་ཚོ་འཇིག་ནས་སེམས་ལ།  ང་ཚོ་འདིར་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་དགོས་དོན་ནི་སྔོན་དུ་ང་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་དངུལ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་བྱས་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཡིན་ནོ།  དེ་ཚོས་གློ་བུར་དུ་ང་ཚོར་རྒོལ་ནས་བོང་བུ་རྣམས་འཕྲོག་པ་དང་ང་ཚོར་བྲན་གཡོག་བཟོ་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་བསམ་མོ།

And the men were afraid because they were brought to Joseph’s house, and they said, “It is because of the money, which was replaced in our sacks the first time, that we are brought in, so that he may assault us and fall upon us to make us servants and seize our donkeys.”

43:19  ཁོང་ཚོ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་ཁང་པའི་སྒོའི་འགྲམ་དུ་སླེབས་པ་དང་།  གཡོག་པོ་གཙོ་བོ་དེ་ལ།

So they went up to the steward of Joseph’s house and spoke with him at the door of the house,

43:20  ཇོ་ལགས།  ཁ་སྔོན་ང་ཚོ་འབྲུ་ཉོ་བར་ཡོང་བ་ཡིན།

and said, “Oh, my lord, we came down the first time to buy food.

43:21  མཚན་མོ་ངལ་གསོ་བྱས་སྐབས་ང་ཚོས་ཕད་གོག་ཕྱེ་བས།  ང་ཚོ་རེ་རེའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་རང་རང་གི་དངུལ་དེ་བཞག་འདུག་པས།  དངུལ་དེ་རྣམས་ཕྱིར་ལོག་བྱས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ང་ཚོས་འཁུར་ཡོད།

And when we came to the lodging place we opened our sacks, and there was each man’s money in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight. So we have brought it again with us,

43:22  ད་དུང་ང་ཚོས་འབྲུ་ཉོ་ཕྱིར་དངུལ་གཞན་ཡང་འཁུར་ཡོད།  ང་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་དངུལ་དེ་སུས་བླུགས་པ་དེ་ང་ཚོས་མི་ཤེས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

and we have brought other money down with us to buy food. We do not know who put our money in our sacks.”

43:23  གཡོག་པོས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་སེམས་འཕྲལ་དང་འཇིགས་སྣང་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཕ་ཡི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དངུལ་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཕད་གོག་ནང་བཞག་པ་ཡིན་འགྲོ།  གང་ཡིན་ཞེ་ན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཉོས་པའི་འབྲུའི་རིན་དངུལ་དེ་ང་ལ་ཐོབ་བྱུང་ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ།  དེ་ནས་ཁོས་ཁོང་ཚོའི་སྤུན་སིམ་ཨོན་བཏོན་ནས་དེ་ཚོའི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་དོ།

He replied, “Peace to you, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has put treasure in your sacks for you. I received your money.” Then he brought Simeon out to them.

43:24  དེ་ནས་གཡོག་པོ་དེས་སྤུན་རྣམས་ལ་ཁང་པའི་ནང་དུ་འཁྲིད་ནས་རྐང་པ་འཁྲུ་ཕྱིར་ཆུ་སྟེར་བ་དང་།  བོང་བུ་རྣམས་ལ་རྩ་ཆག་སྤྲད་དོ།

And when the man had brought the men into Joseph’s house and given them water, and they had washed their feet, and when he had given their donkeys fodder,

43:25  ཁོང་ཚོ་ཡོ་སེབ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཉིན་གུང་ཁ་ལག་ཟ་དགོས་པ་ཤེས་པས། འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་བཏོན་ནས་བཤམས་སོ།

they prepared the present for Joseph’s coming at noon, for they heard that they should eat bread there.

43:26  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཁང་པར་བསླེབས་པ་དང་།  ཁོང་ཚོས་འབུལ་བ་དེ་ཕུལ་ནས་མགོ་ས་ལ་སྒུར་རོ།

When Joseph came home, they brought into the house to him the present that they had with them and bowed down to him to the ground.

43:27  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཁམས་བདེའམ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཕ་རྒས་པོ་ཞིག་ཡོད་སྨྲས་པས།  ཁོང་ཡང་ཁམས་བདེ་ཞིང་གསོན་པོར་ཡོད་དམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།

And he inquired about their welfare and said, “Is your father well, the old man of whom you spoke? Is he still alive?”

43:28  ཁོང་ཚོས། ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བྲན་གཡོག་ང་ཚོའི་ཕ་དེ་ཁམས་བདེ་ཞིང་གསོན་  པོར་ཡོད་ཅེས་ཞུས་ནས་ཁོང་གི་མདུན་དུ་པུས་མོ་བཙུགས་ཏེ་མགོ་སྒུར་རོ།

They said, “Your servant our father is well; he is still alive.” And they bowed their heads and prostrated themselves.

43:29  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་སྤུན་བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་ལ་མཐོང་སྟེ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་སྤུན་ཆུང་བ་ཞིག་གི་སྐོར་བཤད་པ་དེ་འདི་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་ཁོ་ལ།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

And he lifted up his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother’s son, and said, “Is this your youngest brother, of whom you spoke to me? God be gracious to you, my son!”

43:30  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ནམ་སང་ལངས་ནས་སོང་ངོ་།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་ལ་རང་གི་སྤུན་གྱི་ཆེད་དུ་བྱམས་པའི་ཁེངས་ནས་ངུ་བར་འདོད་དོ།  ཁོང་རང་གི་ཁང་མིག་ནང་དུ་སོང་ནས་ངུས་སོ།

Then Joseph hurried out, for his compassion grew warm for his brother, and he sought a place to weep. And he entered his chamber and wept there.

43:31  ཁོང་རང་གི་ངུ་རྒྱུ་བཀག་ནས་གདོང་ཁྲུས་ཏེ་ཕྱིར་ཐོན་ནས་ཁ་ཟས་འཁྱེར་ཤོག་ཅེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ་།

Then he washed his face and came out. And controlling himself he said, “Serve the food.”

43:32  ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་རྩོག་རྩེ་གཅིག་ལ་ཞལ་ལག་ལོགས་སུ་ཕུལ་བ་དང་།  ཁོང་གི་སྤུན་ཚོ་ལ་རྩོག་རྩེ་གཞན་དུ་ཕུལ་ལོ།  ཁོང་མཉམ་དུ་ཟ་བའི་ཨི་ཇིབ་པ་རྣམས་ལའང་ཁ་ཟས་སོ་སོར་ཕུལ་ལོ།  གང་ལ་ཞེ་ན།  ཨི་ཇིབ་པ་རྣམས་ཨིབ་རི་པ་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་ཁ་ཟས་ཟ་བ་ནི་རང་ལ་དམའ་བར་བརྩི་བ་དང་འདྲའོ།

They served him by himself, and them by themselves, and the Egyptians who ate with him by themselves, because the Egyptians could not eat with the Hebrews, for that is an abomination to the Egyptians.

43:33  སྤུན་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་མདུན་དུ་རྒན་གཞོན་རིམ་པ་བཞིན་སྔོན་སྐྱེས་ནས་མཐའ་མ་ཆུང་བའི་བར་དུ་བཞག་པས།  ཁོང་ཚོ་གཅིག་གིས་གཅིག་ལ་བལྟས་ཏེ་ངོ་མཚར་དུ་གྱུར་ཏོ།

And they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright and the youngest according to his youth. And the men looked at one another in amazement.

43:34  ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩོག་རྩེ་ནས་ཁ་ཟས་བགོས་པ་དང་།  བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་ལ་སྐལ་བ་ལྔ་ལྡབ་སྤྲད་དོ།  དེ་ལྟར་ཁོང་ཚོ་ཡོ་སེབ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཟ་བ་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་འཐུང་ཞིང་སྐྱིད་པོ་བྱས་སོ༎

Portions were taken to them from Joseph’s table, but Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as any of theirs. And they drank and were merry with him.
