བཀོད་པ 3 – Genesis 3

3:1  དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མཛད་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་སྦྲུལ་ནི་གཡོ་སྒྱུ་ཅན་ཡིན་པས།  དེ་ཡིས་བུད་མེད་ལ་འདྲི་པ།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ལྡུམ་རའི་ཤིང་སྡོང་གང་ཞིག་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ལས་བདེན་པར་མ་ཟ་ཞེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངམ།

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”

3:2  ལན་དུ་བུད་མེད་ཀྱིས་སྦྲུལ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ།  ལྡུམ་རའི་ནང་གི་ཤིང་སྡོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་གང་ཞིག་ང་ཚོས་ཟ་ཐུབ།

And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden,

3:3  འོན་ཀྱང་ལྡུམ་རའི་དཀྱིལ་གྱི་ཤིང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་དེ་ང་ཚོས་ཟ་མི་ཆོག།  ལག་པ་ཡང་འཆང་མི་ཆོག།  གལ་སྲིད་ང་ཚོས་དེ་ལྟར་བྱས་ན་ང་ཚོ་ཤི་ཡོང་ཞེས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གསུངས་སོ།

but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”

3:4  ལན་དུ་སྦྲུལ་གྱིས།  དེ་ནི་བདེན་པ་མིན།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཤི་མི་ཡོང་།

But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

3:5  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ལྟར་གསུངས་དགོས་པའི་རྐྱེན་ནི།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཤིང་འབྲས་དེ་ལས་ཟས་ན།  མིག་ཕྱེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་འདྲ་བར་བྱུང་ནས།  བཟང་ངན་ཤེས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་ཁོང་གིས་མཁྱེན་ནོ།

For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

3:6  དེར་བུད་མེད་ཀྱིས་ཤིང་འབྲས་དེ་ལ་བལྟས་ཏེ།  དེ་མཛེས་པོ་མཐོང་བ་དང་།  ཟས་ན་ཞིམ་པོ་དང་།  མཁས་པ་བྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བ་མཐོང་བ་དང་།  དེར་བརྟེན་དེའི་འབྲས་བུ་ཁ་ཤས་བླངས་ནས་ཟས་པས།  རང་གི་ཁྱོ་ལའང་སྟེར་ནས་ཁོས་ཡང་ཟས་སོ།

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.

3:7  ཁོ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་དེ་ཟས་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ཁོ་ཚོས་གོ་དོན་རྟོགས་ཐུབ་པའི་ནུས་པ་རྙེད་ནས་རང་ཉིད་གཅེར་བུ་ཡོད་པ་ཧ་གོ་བ་རེད།  དེར་བརྟེན་སེ་ཡབ་ཤིང་གི་ལོ་མ་སྦྲེལ་ཏེ་སྡོམ་རས་བྱས་སོ།

Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.

3:8  དགོང་དྲོའི་དུས་སུ་ལྡུམ་རའི་ནང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་སྐུ་ཆམ་ཕེབས་པའི་སྒྲ་ཐོས་ནས།  ཁོང་གཉིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་དྲུང་ནས་བྲོས་ཤིང་ལྡུམ་རའི་ཤིང་སྡོང་ཚོའི་དཀྱིལ་དུ་ཡིབ་བོ།

And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

3:9  འོན་ཀྱང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་ལ་འབོད་ཅིང་།  ཁྱོད་རང་ག་རུ་ཡོད་དམ་ཞེས་འདྲི་པས།

But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?”

3:10  ཁོས་ལན་དུ།  ཁྱེད་ལྡུམ་རའི་ནང་ཕེབས་པའི་སྒྲ་ཐོས་ཏེ་ང་འཇིགས་ནས་ཁྱེད་ནས་ཡིབ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།  གང་ལ་ཞེ་ན།  ང་གཅེར་བུ་ཡོད་དོ།

And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.”

3:11  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  ཁྱོད་གཅེར་བུ་འདུག་ཅེས་སུས་ལབ་བམ།  ངས་ཟ་མི་ཆོག་ལབ་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་ལས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཟས་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་བཀའ་དྲིས་གནང་ངོ་།

He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”

3:12  མིས་ལན་དུ།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་དེར་བཞག་གནང་བའི་བུད་མེད་ཀྱིས་ཤིང་འབྲས་ང་ལ་སྟེར་བས།  ངས་ཟས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ།

The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”

3:13  དཀོནམཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་བུད་མེད་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་འདི་འདྲ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིརབྱས་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་གནང་བས།  ལན་དུ་བུད་མེད་ཀྱིས་སྦྲུལ་གྱིས་ང་ལ་མགོ་བསྐོར་བཏང་བས་ངས་ཤིང་འབྲས་ཟས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ༎

Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

3:14  དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་སྦྲུལ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ལ་དེའི་ཕྱིར་ཆད་པ་ཕོག་ཡོང་།  སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་ནང་ནས་ཁྱོད་གཅིག་པུར་དམོད་པ་ཕོག་པར་འགྱུར།  ད་ནས་ཕྱིན་ཆད་ཁྱོད་ལྟོ་བས་འགྲོ་དགོས་བྱུང་ཡོང་།  ནམ་འཚོའི་བར་དུ་ཐལ་བ་ཟ་བར་འགྱུར་ཅིག་ཅེས་གསུངས་སོ།

The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.

3:15  ངས་ཁྱོད་དང་བུད་མེད་གཉིས་བར་ལ་སྡང་བར་བྱེད་བཅུག་གི་ཡིན།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བརྒྱུད་དང་མོའི་བརྒྱུད་ཀྱི་བར་ཕན་ཚུན་དགྲ་བོར་འགྱུར་ཡོང་།  མོའི་བརྒྱུད་པས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་མགོ་བརྫིས་པ་དང་།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་མོའི་བརྒྱུད་པའི་རྟིང་པར་སོ་བཏབ་ཡོང་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”

3:16  ཁོང་གིས་བུད་མེད་ལ།  ངས་ཁྱོད་རང་མངལ་དང་འགྱུར་དུས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དང་ཕྲུ་གུ་སྐྱེས་དུས་ཟུག་གཟེར་མང་རུ་གཏོང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།  ཡིན་ཡང་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་འདོད་པ་དེ་ད་དུང་ཁྱོའི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་བྱུང་བར་འགྱུར།  ཡང་ཁོས་ཁྱོད་ལ་དབང་བྱེད་ཡོང་།

To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you.”

3:17  ཁོང་གིས་མི་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རང་གི་ཆུང་མའི་ཁ་ལ་ཉན་ཏེ།  ངས་ཟ་མི་ཆོག་ལབ་པའི་ཤིང་འབྲས་ལས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཟས་པས།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་དེ་འདྲ་བྱས་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ས་ཞིང་ཐོག་ཏུ་དམོད་ཕོག་པར་བྱའོ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཁ་ཟས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་གང་ངལ་རྩོལ་དྲག་པོ་རྒྱབ་དགོས་སོ།

And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you,  ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;

3:18  ས་ཞིང་དེས་རྩ་ངན་དང་ཚེར་མ་སྐྱེས་པ་དང་།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ནགས་ཀྱི་སྔོ་ཚལ་རྣམས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཟ་དགོས་སོ།

thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field.

3:19  ཁྱོད་ཐལ་བར་མ་ལོག་བར་དུ་ས་ལས་གང་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཕྱིར་རྔུལ་ནག་འདོན་ཏེ་ལས་ཀ་ཧུར་བརྩོན་བྱེད་དགོས།  ཁྱོད་ནི་ཐལ་བ་ནས་བཟོས་པ་ཡིན་པས།  ཁྱོད་སྐྱར་དུ་ཐལ་བར་འགྱུར་ཡོང་གསུངས་སོ།

By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

3:20  ཨ་དམ་གྱིས་རང་གི་ཆུང་མའི་མིང་ལ་ཧ་ཝ་བཏགས་སོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  མོ་ནི་མིའི་རིགས་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱི་མ་ཡིན་ནོ།

The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

3:21  དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཨ་དམ་དང་ཁོའི་ཆུང་མ་ལ་སེམས་ཅན་གྱི་ལྤགས་པའི་གོས་བཟོས་པ་གནང་ནས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་བསྐོན་པར་མཛད་དོ༎

And the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them.

3:22  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གསུངས་པ།  མིས་བཟང་ངན་ཤེས་ཏེ་ང་ཚོ་དང་འདྲ་བར་འགྱུར་བས།  དེ་དག་ལ་སྲོག་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ལས་ཟ་བཅུག་མི་རུང་།  དེ་མིན་ཁོང་ཚོ་གཏན་དུ་གསོན་པོར་གནས་ཡོང་།

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—”

3:23  དེར་བརྟེན་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་ཨེ་དྷེན་གྱི་ལྡུམ་ར་ནས་བཏོན་གནང་བ་དང་།  ཁོ་ཚོར་བཟོས་པའི་ས་གཞི་དེ་རང་ལ་ཞིང་ལས་བྱས་བཅུག་གོ

therefore the Lord God sent him out from the garden of Eden to work the ground from which he was taken.

3:24  དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ལྡུམ་རའི་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་ཀེ་རུབ་རྣམས་མེ་འབར་བའི་རལ་གྲི་ཕྱོགས་ཚང་མར་བསྐོར་བ་རྒྱབ་མཁན་ཞིག་བཞག་གནང་བ་དང་།  སུ་ཞིག་ཀྱང་གསོན་པོའི་ཤིང་སྡོང་གི་འགྲམ་དུ་སླེབས་མ་ཐུབ་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་དེ་ལྟར་གནང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ༎

He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.

བཀོད་པ 2 – Genesis 2

2:1  དེ་ལྟར་ནམ་མཁའ་དང་ས་གཞི་དང་དེའི་ནང་ཇི་ཡོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཆ་ཚངའགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་གནང་ངོ།

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2:2  ཉིན་བདུན་བར་དུ་དཀོན་མཆོག་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་ཕྱག་ལས་གནང་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དེ།  དེ་ཉིན་ངལ་གསོ་གནང་བར་བཞུགས་སོ།

And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.

2:3  ཁོང་གིས་ཉིན་བདུན་པ་དེ་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་ཤིང་དེ་ལ་དམིགས་བསལ་གྱི་ཉིན་ཞེས་དབྱེ་བ་གནང་ངོ་།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཉིན་དེ་ཁོང་རང་གིས་བཀོད་པའི་ཕྱག་ལས་ཐམས་ཅད་འགྲུབ་པར་མཛད་དེ་ངལ་གསོ་གནང་བར་བཞུགས་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།

So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

2:4  དེ་ལྟར་ནམ་མཁའ་དང་འཛམ་གླིང་བཀོད་ཚུལ་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན་ནོ༎  དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ནམ་མཁའ་དང་འཛམ་གླིང་མཛད་པའི་དུས་སུ།

These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

2:5  འཛམ་གླིང་ནང་སྔོ་ཚོད་དང་ས་བོན་སོགས་བྱུང་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཁོང་གིས་ཆར་པ་གཏོང་གནང་མེད་པ་དང་།  ཞིང་རྨོ་མཁན་མི་སུའང་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

When no bush of the field was yet in the land and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground,

2:6  འོན་ཀྱང་ས་འོག་ནས་ཆུ་ཐོན་ནས་ས་གཞི་རློན་པར་བྱས་སོ།

and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground—

2:7  དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ས་གཞི་ནས་ཐལ་བ་བླངས་ཏེ་དེ་ལས་མི་ཕོ་མཛད་དེ།  སྣ་རུ་སྲོག་གི་དབུགས་ཕུས་བཀྱོན་པ་གནང་སྟེ།  མི་ནི་སྲོག་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཞིག་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན།

then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

2:8  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་ཡོད་པའི་ཨེ་དྷེན་ལ་ལྡུམ་ར་ཞིག་བཙུགས་གནང་ནས།  ཁོང་གིས་མཛད་གནང་བའི་མི་ལ་དེར་བཞག་གནང་ངོ་།

And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed.

2:9  ལྡུམ་ར་དེའི་ནང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཤིང་སྡོང་མཛེས་པོ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་།  དེ་རྣམས་ལ་འབྲས་བུ་བཟང་པོ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྐྱེས་རུ་བཅུག་ཅིང་།  ལྡུམ་རའི་དཀྱིལ་དུ་གསོན་པོའི་ཤིང་དང་། བཟང་ངན་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤིང་ཡང་སྐྱེས་བཅུག་པར་མཛད་དོ།

And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

2:10  ཨེ་དྷེན་དུ་རྒྱུག་ཆུ་ཞིག་འབབ་ཅིང་།  དེས་ལྡུམ་ར་རློན་པ་བྱས་སོ།  ཨེ་དྷེན་རྒལ་ནས་གཙང་པོ་དེ་གྱེས་ཏེ་གཙང་པོ་བཞི་རུ་གྱུར་ཏོ།

A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers.

2:11  གཙང་པོ་དང་པོའི་མིང་ནི་པི་ཤོན་ཡིན།  དེ་ནི་ཧ་ཝི་ལཱ་ཞེས་པའི་ཡུལ་གྱི་མཐའ་བསྐོར་ནས་རྒྱུག་གོ

The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

2:12  ས་ཆ་དེར་གསེར་དཔུས་དག་དང་དཀོན་པའི་དྲི་ཞིམ་དང་།  རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་རྡོའི་རིགས་ཐོབ་བོ།

And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.

2:13  གཙང་པོ་གཉིས་པའི་མིང་ནི་གྷི་ཧོན་ཡིན་ཏེ།  དེ་ཀུཤ་ཞེས་པའི་ཡུལ་གྱི་མཐའ་བསྐོར་ནས་རྒྱུག་གོ

The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush.

2:14  གཙང་པོ་གསུམ་པའི་མིང་ནི་ཊཡེ་གྷིརིསེ་ཡིན་ཏེ།  དེ་ནི་ཨ་སི་རི་ཡའི་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་རྒྱུག་གོ  གཙང་པོ་བཞི་པའི་མིང་ལ་ཡུབ་རད་ཡིན་ནོ།

And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

2:15  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ་ཨེ་དྷེན་གྱི་ལྡུམ་རའི་ནང་ཞིང་ལས་དང་།  སྲུང་བའི་ཕྱིར་དེར་བཞག་གནང་ངོ་།

The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

2:16  ཁོང་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ།  ལྡུམ་རའི་ཤིང་སྡོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ཐམས་ཅད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཟ་ཐུབ།

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,

2:17  འོན་ཀྱང་བཟང་ངན་རྟོགས་པའི་ཤིང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་ཟ་མི་ཆོག  གལ་སྲིད་དེ་ལས་ཟས་ན་ཁྱོད་དེ་ཉིན་རང་ཤི་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

2:18  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་གཅིག་པུ་ཡོད་པ་ལེགས་པ་མ་ཡིན་པས།  ཁོ་ལ་རོགས་པ་ལེན་པོ་ཞིག་བཟོ་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”

2:19  དེར་བརྟེན་ཁོང་གིས་ས་གཞི་ནས་ཐལ་བ་བླངས་ཏེ་དུད་འགྲོ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་།  བྱ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཛད་དོ།  དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཁོས་མིང་ག་རེ་བཏགས་ཡོང་ཞེས་གཟིགས་པའི་ཕྱིར་མི་འདིའི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་གནང་བ་དང་།  དེ་ཚོས་རང་རང་གི་མིང་ཐོབ་བོ།

Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.

2:20  མིས་སེམས་ཅན་དང་བྱ་བྱིའུ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་མིང་བཏགས་སོ།  འོན་ཀྱང་དེ་ཚོའི་ནང་ནས་སུའང་ཁོ་ལ་འོས་པའི་རོགས་ཤིག་མ་བྱུང་ངོ་།

The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.

2:21  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་ལ་གཉིད་ལྗིད་པོ་ཞིག་ཁུག་བཅུག་གནང་ནས།  ཁོ་ཉལ་བའི་སྐབས་སུ།  ཁོའི་རྩིབ་མ་གཅིག་བཏོན་གནང་ཞིང་།  དེའི་ཤུལ་དུ་ཤ་ཡིས་བསུབ་པར་མཛད་དོ།

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.

2:22  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་རྩིབ་མ་ནས་བུད་མེད་བཀོད་གནང་ནས་མིའི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་གནང་ངོ་།

And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

2:23  དེར་མིས་སྨྲས་པ།  མཐའ་མར་དེ་ནི་ང་དང་འདྲ་བ་ཞིག་འདུག།  ངའི་རུས་པ་ནས་བླངས་པའི་རུས་པ་དང་།  ངའི་ཤ་ནས་བླངས་པའི་ཤ་ཡིན།  མོའི་མིང་བུད་མེད་ཡིན་ནོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཕོ་ནས་མོ་བཏོན་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

2:24  དེའི་རྐྱེན་མིས་རང་གི་ཕ་མ་དང་ཁ་བྲལ་ནས་རང་གི་བུད་མེད་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འབྲེལ་ནས།  ཁོང་གཉིས་གཅིག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་རོ།

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

2:25  མི་དང་བུད་མེད་གཉིས་ཀ་གཅེར་བུ་ཡོད་ཀྱང་ངོ་ཚ་མེད་དོ༎

And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
