དྲང་བདེན་ཉིད་ཕྱིར་འཚེ་བ་ཕོག་པ་རྣམས།།

དཀོན་མཆོག་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཁོ་ཚོའི་ཡིན་པས་བདེའོ།།

 

Matthew 5:10 (Literal Standard Version)

Blessed those persecuted for righteousness’ sake—because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

Study notes –

  1. Jesus proclaimed blessing on those are persecuted for righteousness’ sake
  2. From the writings of the Prophets and Psalm people of God had been taught and prepared the righteous will suffer due to opposition to evil

Many the afflictions of the righteous, YHWH delivers him out of them all.

 

  1. God’s name YHWH is revealed in His acts of deliverance for the righteous

Study notes –

  1. Jesus proclaimed blessing on those who seek peace.
  2. From the writings of Moses and the Prophets people of God had been taught the blessings of turning away from evil to seek peace

Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.

 

  1. The purpose of godly peace is to be separated from evil

ལྷད་མེད་སེམས་བཟང་ཅན་དག་བདེ་བ་སྟེ།།

ཁོ་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་མཇལ་བར་འགྱུར་བས་སོ།།

 

Matthew 5:8

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Study notes –

  1. Jesus commanded blessing for those pure in heart
  2. This pure in heart mean to seek God in trust and sincerity as according to His teachings as spoken in Psalm
