མད་ཐཱ། 5:13

“ཁྱེད་རྣམས་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཚྭ་ཡིན། འོན་ཀྱང་ཚྭའི་བྲོ་བ་ཡལ་ན། དེའི་བྲོ་བ་སླར་གང་གིས་གསོ་བར་བྱེད་དམ། དེ་ཕན་མེད་དུ་གྱུར་བས་ཕྱི་ལ་གཡུགས་ནས་མིའི་རྐང་པས་རྫི་བར་འགྱུར།

 

Matthew 5:13 (LSV)

You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt may lose savor, in what will it be salted? It is good for nothing from now on, except to be cast outside, and to be trodden down by men.

1. Jesus mention of salt reminded His disciple of their covenant with God.

 

ལེ་ཝི 2:13

འབྲུ་སྣའི་མཆོད་རྫས་ཚང་མར་ཚྭ་འདེབས་དགོས། གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན། ཚྭ་དེས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བར་ལ་ཡོད་པའི་དམ་བཅའ་དེ་བསྟན་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། དེ་བས་ན་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་འབུལ་བའི་རྫས་ཚང་མར་ཚྭ་ངེས་པར་བླུགས་དགོས།

 

Leviticus 2:13 ESV

You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

ངའི་དོན་དུ་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁྱེད་ཚོར་དམའ་བེབས་གཏོང་ཞིང༌། གནོད་སྐྱེལ་བ་དང༌། རྫུན་ཤོད་དེ་ཚིག་ངན་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྨྲ་བའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་བདེ་བ་ཡིན།

དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཞིང་ཁམས་སུ་ཁྱེད་ལ་བྱ་དགའ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡོད་པས་དགའ་བ་སྐྱེད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིག གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན། ཁྱེད་ཚོའི་སྔོན་ལ་ཡོད་པའི་ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ལའང་དེ་ལྟར་གནོད་བསྐྱལ་བ་ཡིན།”

 

Matthew 5:11-12 (LSV)

Blessed are you whenever they may reproach you, and may persecute, and may say any evil thing against you falsely for My sake— rejoice and be glad, because your reward is great in the heavens, for thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Study notes –

1. Jesus proclaimed blessing and promised rewards for those persecuted for righteousness’ sake
2. God’s promises for the righteous had been declared from times of old

 

གསུང་མགུར 5:12

12གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ནི། ཉིད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་རྒྱ་སྲུང་མཁན་རྣམས་ལ།

བྱིན་རླབས་མཛད་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱི་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་ཡིས། ཕུབ་བཞིན་དེ་དག་སྐྱབས་པར་མཛད༎

 

Psalm 5:12

For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor as with a shield.

དྲང་བདེན་ཉིད་ཕྱིར་འཚེ་བ་ཕོག་པ་རྣམས།།

དཀོན་མཆོག་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཁོ་ཚོའི་ཡིན་པས་བདེའོ།།

 

Matthew 5:10 (Literal Standard Version)

Blessed those persecuted for righteousness’ sake—because theirs is the kingdom of the heavens.

Study notes –

1. Jesus proclaimed blessing on those are persecuted for righteousness’ sake
2. From the writings of the Prophets and Psalm people of God had been taught and prepared the righteous will suffer due to opposition to evil

མི་བཟང་པོ་ལ་དཀའ་ངལ་མང་པོ་བྱུང་ན་ཡང་། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གིས་དེ་ཚོ་ཡོངས་ལས་ཐར་པ་གནང་།

 

Psalm 34:19 LSV

Many the afflictions of the righteous, YHWH delivers him out of them all.
