ལོ་ཀུ 2:1-14

སེ་བཟིར་རྒྱལ་རབས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་རྒ་ཟི་ཏུ་ཡིས་རོ་མཱ་གོང་མ་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཀྱི་འབངས་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་མིང་ཐོ་འགོད་དགོས་པའི་བཀའ་གནང༌ཞིང༌། དེ་ནི་ཀི་རེ་ནུ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དེ་སིར་ཡཱ་ཡུལ་གྱི་ས་གནས་དཔོན་པོ་ཡིན་པའི་དུས་སུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཡུལ་མིའི་མིང་ཐོ་བཀོད་པའི་ཐོག་མ་ཡིན། མི་ཐམས་ཅད་རང་གི་མིང་ཐོ་འགོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་རང་རང་གི་ཕ་ཡུལ་དུ་ལོག་པའོ།། ཡོ་སེབ་ནི་དཱ་བིད་ཀྱི་རིགས་རྒྱུད་དང་ཁྱིམ་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་མི་ཡིན་པས་ག་ལིལ་ཡུལ་གྱི་ནཱ་ཙ་རེལ་གྲོང་རྡལ༌ནས། ཡར་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱའི་ཡུལ་དུ་ཆས་ཏེ་དཱ་བིད་ཀྱི་གྲོང་རྡལ་པེད་ལེ་ཧེམ་དུ། ཁོ་དང་གཉེན་རྟགས་བརྒྱབ་ཡོད་ཅིང་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་པ་མིར་ཡམ་གཉིས་མིང་འགོད་དུ་སོང༌། ཁོ་གཉིས་གནས་དེར་སྡོད་སྐབས་ཕྲུ་གུ་བཙའ་བའི་དུས་ཐོན༌ཏེ། བུ་སྐྱེས་འགོ་བཙས་ཤིང་མགྲོན་ཁང་དུ་སྡོད་ས་མེད་པས་ཕྲུ་གུ་རས་ཀྱིས་བཏུམས་ནས་ཁ་རའི་ནང་དུ་བཞག༌གོ།

ཡུལ་དེའི་མཐའ་སྐོར་ནས་ལུག་རྫི་འགའ་ཞིག་ཐང་རྒོད་དུ་བསྡད་དེ། མཚན་མོར་རེས་བསྐོར་ནས་རང་གི་ལུག་ཁྱུ་སྲུང་བཞིན་ཡོད་ལ། གཙོ་བོའི་ཕོ་ཉ་ཞིག་གློ་བུར་དུ་ལུག་རྫི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་གམ་དུ་ཕེབས༌ཤིང༌། གཙོ་བོའི་གཟི་བརྗིད་ཀྱི་འོད་སྣང་ཡང་ཁོ་ཚོའི་ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་ཁྱབ་པས་ཁོ་རྣམས་ཤིན་ཏུ་འཇིགས་སོ།། ཕོ་ཉས་དེ་རྣམས་ལ་འདི་སྐད༌དུ། མ་འཇིགས༌ཤིག ངས་ཁྱོད་ཅག་ལ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དགའ་འོས་པའི་འཕྲིན་བཟང་མི་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་འབྲེལ་བ་ཞིག་འཆད༌དེ། དེ་རིང་དཱ་བིད་ཀྱི་གྲོང་རྡལ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཅག་གི་ཆེད་དུ་སྐྱབས་མགོན་ཞིག་འཁྲུངས༌ཤིང༌། ཁོང་ནི་གཙོ་བོ་མཱ་ཤི་ཀ་ཡིན། ཡང་ཁྱོད་ཅག་གིས་རས་ཀྱིས་བཏུམས་ནས་ཁ་རའི་ནང་དུ་བསྙལ་བའི་ཕྲུ་གུ་ཞིག་མཐོང་ངེས་པ་དེ་ནི་ཁྱོད་ཅག་ལ་གནང་བའི་རྟགས་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ༌དང༌། གློ་བུར༌དུ། ནམ་མཁའི་ཞིང་ཁམས་ནས་ཕོ་ཉའི་དཔུང་ཚོགས་ལས་ཤིན་ཏུ་མང་པོ་གནས་དེར་སླེབས་ཤིང༌། ཕོ་ཉ་དེ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་གིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བསྟོད་བསྔགས་བྱེད་བཞིན་འདི་སྐད༌དུ།

བླ་མེད་གནས་སུ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཉིད་ལ་བསྟོད་པ་འབུལ་བ༌དང༌།།  ས་གཞིར་ཁོང་ཉིད་དགྱེས་པའི་མི་ལ་ཞི་བདེ་འཐོབ་པར་ཤོག །

 

Luke 2:1-14

In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloth and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

Study notes –

1. The birth of Jesus happened as according to the will of God
2. Heavenly host proclaimed and celebrated the birth of Jesus the Christ
3. Shepherds out in the field witnessed the exultation of Christ by angel and heavenly host
4. Through Jesus the Christ, God will grant peace to those who seek to be God-fearing and to walk in the ways of godliness
5. The birth of Jesus the Christ revealed the salvation and redemption will of God

མད་ཐཱ། 1:23

འདི་ལྟར་ཏེ། ལྟོས་དང་ན་ཆུང་མངལ་བཅས་སྲས་ཤིག་འོང༌།། མཚན་ཡང་ཨིམ་མ་ནུ་ཨེལ་ཞེས་སུ་གསོལ།། ཞེས་འཁོད་ཡོད། ཨིམ་མ་ནུ་ཨེལ་ནི་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་ང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་གནས་ཞེས་པའི་དོན་ཡིན།

Matthew 1:23

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel”

Study notes –

1. The birth of Jesus the Messiah was in fulfillment of prophesy by “Isaiah 7:14”

 

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ 7:14

དེ་བས་ན་གཙོ་བོ་ཁོང་རང་གྱིས་ཁྱོད་ལ་རྟགས་ཤིག་གནང་བར་བྱའོ། བུ་མོ་ན་ཆུང་མ་མངལ་དང་ལྡན་ནས་བུ་ཞིག་བསྐྱེས་བས་དེའི་མིང་ལ་ཨིམ་མ་ནུ་ཨེལ་ཞེས་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར།

 

2. The same prophesy speaks of God sending His chosen Messiah to redeem His people from judgement and destruction
3. It is important for us to know and understand God’s plan of redemption

མེས་པོ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་གྱི་སྲས་རྒྱལ་པོ་དཱ་བིད་ཀྱི་སྲས་ཡེ་ཤུ་མཱ་ཤི་ཀའི་གདུང་རྒྱུད་ནི།

Matthew 1:1

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham

Study notes –

1. The opening message of the Gospel according to Matthew identifies and introduces the Messiah, referring to Jesus of Nazareth, of direct lineage from David and Abraham
2. David one of the kings of Israel who wanted to build a Temple for God and was promised the coming Messiah
3. Abraham who was called to separate from his birth family and the beginning of the Hebrew race and to go to the Promised Land and he too was promised a seed who will inherit the Promised Land forever and that seed is Jesus of Nazareth
4. Being the “Christ” or “Messiah” is a declaration as a divinely appointed savior-king.
5. Therefor it is important for us to know and understand how we should relate to Jesus the Messiah
