བཀོད་པ 47 – Genesis 47

47:1  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་སྤུན་ལྔ་རྣམས་འཁྲིད་དེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་སྐུ་མདུན་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་ཁོང་ལ།  ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནས་ངའི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་རྣམས་རང་རང་གི་ནོར་དང་ར་ལུག་དང་བ་གླང་ཚང་མ་འཁྲིད་ནས་བསླེབས་འདུག  ད་ལྟ་ཁོང་ཚོ་གྷོ་ཤེན་ཞེས་པའི་ས་གནས་སུ་ཡོད་ཅེས་ཞུས་སོ།

So Joseph went in and told Pharaoh, “My father and my brothers, with their flocks and herds and all that they possess, have come from the land of Canaan. They are now in the land of Goshen.”

47:2  དེ་ནས་ཁོས་རང་གི་སྤུན་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་མདུན་དུ་འཁྲིད་དོ།

And from among his brothers he took five men and presented them to Pharaoh.

47:3  རྒྱལ་པོས་སྤུན་དེ་རྣམས་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ནམ་རྒྱུན་ལས་ཀ་ག་རེ་བྱེད་དམ་ཞེས་དྲིས་པས།  ཁོང་ཚོས།  ང་ཚོའི་མེས་པོ་ལྟར་ང་ཚོའང་ལུག་རྫི་ཡིན་ཞུས་སོ།

Pharaoh said to his brothers, “What is your occupation?” And they said to Pharaoh, “Your servants are shepherds, as our fathers were.”

47:4  ང་ཚོ་ཡུལ་འདིར་ཡོང་དགོས་པའི་རྐྱེན་ནི།  ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནང་མུ་གེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེ་བས་ང་ཚོའི་ལུག་ཕྱུགས་ལ་ཟ་རྒྱུ་མེད་པས།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་ཚོར་གྷོ་ཤེན་ཡུལ་དུ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་ཆོག་པར་གནང་དུ་གསོལ་ཞུས་སོ།

They said to Pharaoh, “We have come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for your servants’ flocks, for the famine is severe in the land of Canaan. And now, please let your servants dwell in the land of Goshen.”

47:5  དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ།  ད་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་རྣམས་ཁྱོད་རྩར་སླེབས་ཡོད་པས།

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Your father and your brothers have come to you.

47:6  ཨི་ཇིབ་ཡུལ་འདི་དེ་ཚོའིི་ཡིན་པས།  ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་ས་གནས་བཟང་ཤོས་གྷོ་ཤེན་མངའ་ཁུལ་དུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་རྣམས་གནས་སུ་བཅུག་ཅིག  མི་འཇོན་པོ་འགའ་ཤས་ཡོད་ན་ངའི་ཕྱུགས་སྲོག་རྣམས་བལྟ་བའི་མི་བསྐོས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བཀའ་གནང་ངོ་།

The land of Egypt is before you. Settle your father and your brothers in the best of the land. Let them settle in the land of Goshen, and if you know any able men among them, put them in charge of my livestock.”

47:7  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཕ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་སྐུ་མདུན་དུ་འཁྲིད་ནས།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ངོ་།

Then Joseph brought in Jacob his father and stood him before Pharaoh, and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

47:8  རྒྱལ་པོས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ།  ཁྱེད་ལོ་ཇི་ཙམ་ཡིན་དྲིས་པས།

And Pharaoh said to Jacob, “How many are the days of the years of your life?”

47:9  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས།  ང་ནི་ལོ་  ༡༣༠  ལོན་པ་ཡིན།  མི་ཚེ་འདིའི་ནང་ང་ཕར་ཚུར་མང་པོ་རྒྱུ་བའི་རྐྱེན་སྡུག་བསྔལ་དང་དཀའ་ངལ་མང་པོ་མཐོང་བྱུང་།  ངའི་མི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ནི་ངའི་མེས་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་མི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ལས་ཐུང་བ་ཡིན་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ།

And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my sojourning are 130 years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their sojourning.”

47:10  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་བྱིན་  རླབས་གནང་སྟེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་དྲུང་ནས་སོང་ངོ་།

And Jacob blessed Pharaoh and went out from the presence of Pharaoh.

47:11  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོས་བཀའ་གནང་བ་བཞིན་དུ་རང་གི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་རྣམས་ལ།  གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་རམ་སེསེ་བྱ་བའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་གྱི་ཉེ་འཁོར་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་ས་གནས་ཀུན་ལས་བཟང་ཤོས་དེ་གནང་ངོ་།

Then Joseph settled his father and his brothers and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

47:12  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་རང་གི་ཕ་དང་སྤུན་རྣམས་དང་།  ཕ་ཡི་ཁང་པའི་ནང་མི་ཚང་མ་དང་ཕྲུ་གུ་ཆུང་ཆུང་དང་བཅས་པ་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་སྤྲད་ནས་གསོ་སྐྱོང་བྱས་སོ༎

And Joseph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household with food, according to the number of their dependents.

47:13  མུ་གེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེ་བས་ཡུལ་ཚང་མའི་ནང་ཟ་རྒྱུ་གང་ཡང་མེད་དེ།  ཨི་ཇིབ་དང་ཀ་ནན་ནང་གི་མི་ཚོ་ལུས་སྟོབས་ཉམས་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ།

Now there was no food in all the land, for the famine was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan languished by reason of the famine.

47:14  ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་འབྲུ་བཙོང་ཞིང་།  དངུལ་ཚང་མ་བསྡུས་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕོ་བྲང་དུ་འཁྱེར་རོ།

And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, in exchange for the grain that they bought. And Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.

47:15  ཨི་ཇིབ་དང་ཀ་ནན་གྱི་ཡུལ་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དངུལ་ཚང་མ་རྫོགས་ཚར་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་དེ་ཚོ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩར་ཡོང་ནས་ཁོང་ལ།  ང་ཚོ་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་གནོང་ཞིག།  དངུལ་ཚང་མ་རྫོགས་ཚར་བས་ང་ཚོ་ལ་འཆི་བ་ལས་སྐྱབས་རོགས་གནང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

And when the money was all spent in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us food. Why should we die before your eyes? For our money is gone.”

47:16  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དངུལ་རྫོགས་ཚར་ཡོད་ན་དུད་འགྲོ་ཚང་མ་ངའི་རྩར་འཁྱེར་ཤོག  དེ་ཚོའི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ངས་ཁ་ཟས་སྟེར་ཡོང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པས།

And Joseph answered, “Give your livestock, and I will give you food in exchange for your livestock, if your money is gone.”

47:17  ལོ་དེར་དེ་ཚོའི་དུད་འགྲོ་རྣམས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་བ་དང་།  ཁོང་ཚོའི་རྟ་དང་ར་ལུག་དང་བ་ཕྱུགས་དང་བོང་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚབ་ཏུ་ཁོང་ཚོར་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཁ་ཟས་གནང་ངོ་།

So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the herds, and the donkeys. He supplied them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year.

47:18  ལོ་རྗེས་མར་མི་མང་རྣམས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩར་ཡོང་ནས།  ང་ཚོའི་དངུལ་དང་དུད་འགྲོ་རྣམས་ཁྱེད་ལ་ཕུལ་ཚར་བས།  ད་ང་ཚོའི་ལུས་དང་ས་ཞིང་རྣམས་མ་གཏོགས་པར་གང་ཡང་མ་ལུས་པས། ཁྱེད་ལས་གང་ཡང་གསང་མི་ཐུབ་བོ།

And when that year was ended, they came to him the following year and said to him, “We will not hide from my lord that our money is all spent. The herds of livestock are my lord’s. There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land.

47:19  ད་ང་ཚོ་གསོན་པོ་ལུས་ཕྱིར་ང་ཚོ་ལ་ཁ་ཟས་གནོང་ཞིག  དེའི་ཚབ་ལ་ང་ཚོ་དང་ང་ཚོའི་ས་ཞིང་འབུལ་བར་བྱ།  ང་ཚོ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བྲན་གཡོག་ཏུ་གྱུར་བས།  ས་ཞིང་མི་སྟོངས་བས་ཕྱིར་ང་ཚོ་ལ་ས་བོན་གནོང་ཞིག་ཅེས་ཞུས་སོ།

Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh. And give us seed that we may live and not die, and that the land may not be desolate.”

47:20  དེ་ལྟར་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕྱིར་ཡུལ་གྱི་ཞིང་རྣམས་ཉོས་ཏེ།  མུ་གེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཆེ་བའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་མི་དམངས་ཚོས་རང་གི་ཞིང་བཙོང་བས།  དེ་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་རྒྱུ་ནོར་དུ་གྱུར་ཏོ།

So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh, for all the Egyptians sold their fields, because the famine was severe on them. The land became Pharaoh’s.

47:21  ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱི་ས་མཚམས་གཅིག་ནས་གཞན་བར་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བྲན་གཡོག་  ཏུ་གྱུར་ཏོ།

As for the people, he made servants of them from one end of Egypt to the other.

47:22  འོན་ཀྱང་རྒྱལ་པོས་བླ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་མ་ཉོས་སོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  སྔར་སྲོལ་བཞིན་བླ་མ་རྣམས་ལ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕྱོགས་ནས་ཕོག་ཐོབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པས། ཞིང་བཙོང་མི་དགོས་སོ།

Only the land of the priests he did not buy, for the priests had a fixed allowance from Pharaoh and lived on the allowance that Pharaoh gave them; therefore they did not sell their land.

47:23  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་མི་རྣམས་ལ།  ཉིན་དེ་རིང་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ས་ཞིང་རྣམས་ངས་ཉོས་པས་དེ་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་བདག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།  ཞིང་ལ་འབྲུ་འདེབས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ས་བོན་ང་ནས་ལེན་ཞིག

Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have this day bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.

47:24  ལོ་ཐོག་བསྡུ་བ་དང་ལྔ་ཆ་གཅིག་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཕུལ་དགོས།  ལྷག་འཕྲོས་དེ་ས་བོན་འདེབས་ཕྱིར་དང་།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ནང་མིའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཁ་ཟས་ཀྱི་ཆེད་དུ་བེད་སྤྱོད་གཏོང་ཐུབ་བོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

And at the harvests you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and as food for yourselves and your households, and as food for your little ones.”

47:25  མི་དམངས་ཀྱིས།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ང་ཚོར་སྲོག་སྐྱབས་པ་གནང་བས་ཐུགས་རྗེ་དེ་ང་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ཏུ་བྱུང་བར་ཤོག  ང་ཚོ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་བྲན་གཡོག་དང་བྲན་མོར་འགྱུར་བར་བྱའོ་ཞུས་སོ།

And they said, “You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh.”

47:26  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ལོ་ཐོག་ལྔ་ཆ་གཅིག་འབུལ་བའི་ཁྲིམས་བཟོས་པ་དེ་ཨི་ཇིབ་ནང་དེ་རིང་གི་བར་དུ་ཡོད་དོ།  བླ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ས་ཞིང་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོར་མ་བདག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ༎

So Joseph made it a statute concerning the land of Egypt, and it stands to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth; the land of the priests alone did not become Pharaoh’s.

47:27  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་པ་རྣམས་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱི་ས་གནས་གྷོ་ཤེན་གྱི་ཡུལ་འཁོར་ལ་གནས་ཏེ། དེར་ཁོང་ཚོ་ཕྱུག་པོར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་བུ་ཕྲུག་མང་པོ་བྱུང་ངོ་།

Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the land of Goshen. And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly.

47:28  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཨི་ཇིབ་ནང་ལོ་བཅུ་བདུན་གསོན་པོར་གནས་པས་ཁོང་ལོ་  ༡༤༧ བར་བཞུགས་སོ།

And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years. So the days of Jacob, the years of his life, were 147 years.

47:29  ཁོང་འཆི་བར་དུས་ཉེ་བས།  ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་བོས་ནས་ཁོ་ལ།  ང་ཤི་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ངའི་ཕུང་པོ་ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་དུར་ནང་མི་འཇུག་ཅེས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ངའི་བརླ་ཤའི་འོག་ཏུ་ལག་པ་བཅུག་ནས་མནའ་སྐྱོལ་ཞིག

And when the time drew near that Israel must die, he called his son Joseph and said to him, “If now I have found favor in your sight, put your hand under my thigh and promise to deal kindly and truly with me. Do not bury me in Egypt,

47:30  ང་ལ་ཨི་ཇིབ་ནས་འཁྱེར་ནས་ངའི་ཕུང་པོ་ནི་ཕ་མེས་ཀྱི་ཁྲོད་དུ་དུར་དུ་ཆུག་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ལན་དུ།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ངས་བྱེད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཞུས་སོ།

but let me lie with my fathers. Carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burying place.” He answered, “I will do as you have said.”

47:31  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་ལ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་བྱེད་ཡོང་ཞེས་མནའ་སྐྱོལ་ཞིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་པས།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་མནའ་སྐྱེལ་ལོ།  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་ཉལ་ཁྲི་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་གཏང་རག་འབུལ་ལོ༎

And he said, “Swear to me”; and he swore to him. Then Israel bowed himself upon the head of his bed.

བཀོད་པ 46 – Genesis 46

46:1  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་གང་ཡོད་པ་ཚང་མ་འཁྱེར་ནས་འགྲུལ་སྐྱོད་བྱེད་དོ།  བྷིར་ཤེ་བྷ་རུ་བསླེབས་ཚར་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་རང་གི་ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམར་མཆོད་ཕུལ་ལོ།

So Israel took his journey with all that he had and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

46:2  མཚན་མོའི་དུས་སུ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཞལ་གཟིགས་ཀྱི་ནང་ཡ་ཀོབ།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཞེས་འབོད་པ་དང་།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་ལན་དུ། ང་འདི་རུ་ཡོད་ཞུས་སོ།

And God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, “Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.”

46:3  དེ་ནས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་ལ།  ང་དཀོན་མཆོག།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཡིན།  ཁྱོད་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་མ་འཇིགས་ཤིག།  ངས་དེ་རུ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་མི་རིགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་བཟོ་བར་བྱའོ།

Then he said, “I am God, the God of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make you into a great nation.

46:4  ང་ཁྱོད་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་འགྲོ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དང་།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་མི་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ལ་ཡུལ་འདིར་ཕྱིར་སློག་འཁྲིད་པར་བྱའོ།  ཁྱོད་ཤི་བའི་དུས་སུ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཁྱོད་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཡོད་པར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s hand shall close your eyes.”

46:5  དེའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཡ་ཀོབ་བྷིར་ཤེ་བྷ་ནས་ཐོན་ནོ།  ཁོང་གི་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོས་བཏང་བའི་ཤིང་རྟ་རྣམས་ལ་རང་གི་ཕ་དང་ཕྲུ་གུ་ཆུང་ཆུང་རྣམས་དང་།  ཆུང་མ་རྣམས་ལ་བཞོན་བཅུག་གོ།

Then Jacob set out from Beersheba. The sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons that Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

46:6  ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་དུ་གསོག་འཇོག་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱུགས་ཟོག་དང་ནོར་རྫས་རྣམས་མཉམ་དུ་འཁྱེར་ནས་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནོ།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་ཚང་མ་མཉམ་དུ་འཁྲིད་དོ།

They also took their livestock and their goods, which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob and all his offspring with him,

46:7  ཁོང་གི་བུ་ཕྲུག་རྣམས་དང་ཚ་བོ་ཚ་མོ་རྣམས་དང་བཅས་པ་ཚང་མ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་མཉམ་དུ་འཁྲིད་དོ།

his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters. All his offspring he brought with him into Egypt.

46:8  ཡ་ཀོབ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་འགྲོ་མཁན་ཚང་མ་འདི་ཚོ་ཡིན་ནོ།  ཁོང་གི་བུ་རྒན་ཤོས་རུ་བྷེན་དང་།

Now these are the names of the descendants of Israel, who came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons. Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn,

46:9  རུ་བྷེན་གྱི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཧ་ནོག།  པལ་ལུ།  ཧེཛ་རོན་དང་ཀར་མི།

and the sons of Reuben: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

46:10  སིམ་ཨོན་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཡེ་མུ་ཨེལ།  ཡ་མིན།  ཨོ་ཧད།  ཡ་ཀིན། ཛོ་ཧར་དང་ཀ་ནན་པའི་ བུད་མེད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཤ་ཨུལ།

The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman.

46:11  ལེ་ཝི་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་གྷེར་ཤོན།  ཀོ་ཧད་དང་མེ་ར་རི།

The sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

46:12  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཤེ་ལཱ།  པེ་རེཛ་དང་ཛེ་རཱ་དང་།  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱའི་བུ་གཞན་རྣམས་ནི་ཨེར་དང་ཨོ་ནན་ནི་ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་དུ་གྲོངས་ཚར་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། པེ་རེཛ་ཀྱི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཧེཛ་རོན་དང་ཧ་མུལ།

The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, Shelah, Perez, and Zerah (but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan); and the sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul.

46:13  ཨི་ས་ཀར་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཏོ་ལ།  པུ་ཨ།  ཡ་ཤུབ་དང་ཤིམ་རོན།

The sons of Issachar: Tola, Puvah, Yob, and Shimron.

46:14  ཛེ་བུ་ལུན་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་སེ་རེད།  ཨེ་ལོན་དང་ཡ་ལིལ།

The sons of Zebulun: Sered, Elon, and Jahleel.

46:15  དེ་ཚོ་ནི་ལེ་ཨས་མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡ་རུ་སྐྱེས་པའི་བུ་རྣམས་ཡིན།  བུ་མོ་དྷི་ནཱའང་ལེ་ཨ་ལས་སྐྱེས་སོ།  ལེ་ཨ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་ཚོའི་གྲངས་ནི་གསུམ་བཅུ་སོ་གསུམ་ཡིན་ནོ།

These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore to Jacob in Paddan-aram, together with his daughter Dinah; altogether his sons and his daughters numbered thirty-three.

46:16  གྷཌ་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཛེ་ཕོན།  ཧག་གི།  ཤུ་ནི།  ཨེཛ་བྷོན།  ཨེ་རི། ཨ་རོད་དང་ཨ་རེ་ལི།

The sons of Gad: Ziphion, Haggi, Shuni, Ezbon, Eri, Arodi, and Areli.

46:17  ཨ་ཤེར་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཨེམ་ནཱ།  ཨིཤ་ཝ།  ཨིཤ་ཝི།  བྷེ་རི་ཡཱ་དང་དེ་ཚོའི་སྲིང་མོ་སེ་རཱ། བྷེ་རི་ཡཱའི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་ཧེ་བྷེར་དང་མལ་ཀི་ཨེལ་ཡིན་ནོ།

The sons of Asher: Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, with Serah their sister. And the sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.

46:18  དེ་ཚོ་ནི་ལ་བན་གྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་མོ་ལེ་ཨ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བཏང་བའི་བྲན་མོ་ཛིལ་པཱ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་བཅུ་དྲུག་རྣམས་དེ་ཚོ་ཡིན།

These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter; and these she bore to Jacob—sixteen persons.

46:19  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་ཆུང་མ་ར་ཧེལ་ལས་བུ་གཉིས་སྐྱེས་པས།  དེ་གཉིས་ནི་ཡོ་སེབ་དང་བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་ཡིན་ནོ།

The sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.

46:20  ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་ཧེ་ལི་ཨོ་པོ་ལིསེ་ཡུལ་གྱི་བླ་མ་པོ་ཏི་ཕེ་ར་གྱི་བུ་མོ་ཨ་སི་ནད་ནས་སྐྱེས་པའི་བུ་གཉིས་ནི་མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་དང་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་ཡིན་ནོ།

And to Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera the priest of On, bore to him.

46:21  བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་གྱི་བུ་རྣམས་ནི་བེ་ལ།  བྷེ་ཀེར།  ཨཤ་བྷེལ།  གྷེ་ར།  ན་མན། ཨེ་ཧི།  རོཤེ།  མུ་པིམ།  ཧུ་པིམ་དང་ཨ་རད།

And the sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard.

46:22  དེ་ཚོ་ནི་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་ཆུང་མ་ར་ཧེལ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་བཅུ་བཞི་ཡིན།

These are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob—fourteen persons in all.

46:23  དཱན་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་ཧུ་ཤིམ།

The son of Dan: Hushim

46:24  ནཕ་ཏ་ལི་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་ཡཱ་ཛིལ།  གྷུ་ནི། ཡེ་ཛེར་དང་།  ཤི་ལེམ།

The sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem.

46:25  དེ་ཚོ་བདུན་ནི།  ལ་བན་གྱི་རང་གི་བུ་མོ་ར་ཧེལ་མཉམ་དུ་བཏང་བའི་བྲན་མོ་བྷིལ་ཧཱ་ལས་སྐྱེས་པའི་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ཡིན་ནོ།

These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and these she bore to Jacob—seven persons in all.

46:26  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་བུའི་ཆུང་མ་རྣམས་མ་རྩིས་པས།  ཁོང་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་འགྲོ་མཁན་ཁོང་གི་རང་གི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་བསྡོམས་བཅུ་དྲུག་ཡིན་ནོ།

All the persons belonging to Jacob who came into Egypt, who were his own descendants, not including Jacob’s sons’ wives, were sixty-six persons in all.

46:27  ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་བུ་གཉིས་བྱུང་བ་དང་།  ཡ་ཀོབ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཡོང་མཁན་ཚང་མ་བསྡོམས་ནས་བདུན་བཅུ་ཐམ་པ་བྱུང་ངོ་༎

And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two. All the persons of the house of Jacob who came into Egypt were seventy.

46:28  གྷོ་ཤེན་དུ་ང་ལ་འཕྲད་པར་ཤོག་ཟེར་གནས་ཚུལ་བཏང་བར་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་སྔོན་དུ་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ལ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་རྩར་བཏང་ངོ་།  དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་གྷོ་ཤེན་དུ་སླེབས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ།

He had sent Judah ahead of him to Joseph to show the way before him in Goshen, and they came into the land of Goshen.

46:29  ཡོ་སེབ་རང་གི་ཤིང་རྟ་བཞོན་ནས་ཕ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་འཕྲད་པར་གྷོ་ཤེན་དུ་སོང་ངོ་།  ས་གནས་དེར་ཁོང་ལ་མཇལ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་ཕ་ལ་འཁྱུད་ཅིང་ཡུན་རིང་པོར་ངུས་སོ།

Then Joseph prepared his chariot and went up to meet Israel his father in Goshen. He presented himself to him and fell on his neck and wept on his neck a good while.

46:30  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ།  ད་ངས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ངོ་གདོང་མཐོང་ཐུབ་པ་བྱུང་བ་དང་།  ཁྱོད་གསོན་པོ་ཡིན་པ་ངས་ཤེས་བྱུང་།  ད་ང་ཞི་བའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཤི་བར་གྲ་སྒྲིག་ཡོད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

Israel said to Joseph, “Now let me die, since I have seen your face and know that you are still alive.”

46:31  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་སྤུན་རྣམས་དང་ཕ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་ནང་མི་རྣམས་ལ།  ད་ང་སོང་ནས་ངའི་སྤུན་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་ཕ་ཡི་ནང་མི་རྣམས་ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནས་ངའི་རྩར་སླེབས་ཡོད་ཅེས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་སྙན་སེང་ཞུ་དགོས།

Joseph said to his brothers and to his father’s household, “I will go up and tell Pharaoh and will say to him, ‘My brothers and my father’s household, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.

46:32  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ནི་ལུག་རྫི་ཡིན་པ་དང།  ལུག་ཕྱུགས་སོགས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འཁྲིད་འདུག་ཅེས་ངས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཞུ་གི་ཡིན།

And the men are shepherds, for they have been keepers of livestock, and they have brought their flocks and their herds and all that they have.’

46:33  རྒྱལ་པོས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་འབོད་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ལས་འགན་གང་ཡིན་པའི་སྐོར་བཀའ་འདྲི་མཛད་ན།

When Pharaoh calls you and says, ‘What is your occupation?’

46:34  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་མི་ཚེ་གང་ལུག་རྫི་བྱས་པ་དང་།  དེ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཕ་མེས་ཀྱང་དེ་བཞིན་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ཞེས་ཞུས་ཤིག།  དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་གྷོ་ཤེན་ལྗོངས་སུ་གནས་པའི་བཀའ་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་དེ་ལྟར་ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ལབ་དགོས་པའི་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ནི་ཨི་ཇིབ་པ་ཚང་མས་ལུག་རྫི་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ཞེན་ལོག་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ༎

you shall say, ‘Your servants have been keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,’ in order that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians.”
