བཀོད་པ 17:1-2

ཨབ་རམ་ལོ་དགུ་བཅུ་གོ་དགུ་ལོན་པའི་ཚེ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོ་ལ་མངོན་པར་མཛད་པ། ང་ནི་ཀུན་དབང་ལྡན་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཡིན། ངའི་བཀའ་ལ་ཉན་ནས་གང་བདེན་པ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་བྱོས་ཤིག ངས་ཁྱོད་དང་དམ་བཅའ་བྱེད་དེ་ཁྱོད་ལ་མི་བརྒྱུད་མང་པོ་སྤྲོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

Genesis 17:1-2

When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless, that I may make my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”

Study notes

1. God prepares Abram to enter in to covenant with God
2. God’s call for holiness and sanctification have been fundamental to establishing covenant with His chosen

བཀོད་པ 9:1 – དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ནོ་ཨ་དང་ཁོའི་བུ་རྣམས་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ཞིང་གསུངས་པ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕྲུ་གུ་མང་པོ་སྐྱེས་ནས་ས་གཞི་ཚང་མར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་གནས་པར་ཤོག།

Genesis 9:1 – And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

Study notes

1. God redeemed Noah from judgment and destruction and allowed continuity of human race through Noah
2. God’s blessing on Noah as divine providence
