1-2  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེ་སྔ་ནམ་ཡང་མཆོད་མ་མྱོང་བའི་ལྷ་རྟེན་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་འབུལ་དང་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱེད་བཅུག་པའི་ཕྱིར་ལུང་སྟོན་པའམ་རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་དོན་བཤད་ཐུབ་མཁན་ཞིག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་ལྟས་དང་རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་སོགས་བསྟན་པ་དང་། དེ་ཚོས་གང་བཤད་པ་རྣམས་ལ་བདེན་པར་མངོན་རུང་། 3  དེ་ལ་དོ་སྣང་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བློ་སེམས་རྩེ་གཅིག་གི་སྒོ་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བརྩེ་བ་ཡོད་མེད་ཚོད་བལྟ་ལེན་པའི་ཕྱིར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་དེ་ལ་བེད་སྤྱོད་གནང་བ་ཡིན་པས། 4  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲངས་ཏེ་ཁོང་ལ་གུས་བཀུར་ཞུས་ཤིག ཁོང་གི་བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམས་སྲུང་སྟེ། ཁོང་ལ་མཆོད་ཅིང་དམ་ཚིག་བརྟན་པོར་གནས་ཤིག 5  འོན་ཀྱང་ལུང་སྟོན་པའམ་རྨི་ལམ་གྱི་དོན་བཤད་མཁན་སུས་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་ཨི་ཇིབ་གྱི་བྲན་འཁོལ་ནས་སྐྱབས་པ་གནང་མཁན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་རྒོལ་འཇུག་པ་ཡིན་ན། དེ་ལ་གསོད་ཅིག་དང་། དེ་ནི་མི་ངན་ཞིག་ཡིན་ནོ། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བཀའ་བཞིན་དུ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཇི་ལྟར་བསྐྱལ་དགོས་པའི་མི་ཚེ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་ཐག་རིང་འཁྱེར་འགྲོ་བའི་ཐབས་ཤེས་བྱེད་བཞིན་ཡོད། ངན་པ་འདི་ཚོ་ལས་རང་ཉིད་ལ་སྐྱབས་ཕྱིར་མི་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་གསོད་དགོས་སོ།

6  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྤུན་ནམ་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ། དེ་བཞིན་རང་གིས་གཅེས་པའི་ཆུང་མའམ་གྲོགས་པོ་ཚོས་ད་ཕན་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མེས་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནམ་ཡང་མཆོད་མ་མྱོང་བའི་ལྷ་རྟེན་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་གསང་བའི་ཐོག་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ངན་བསྐུལ་བྱེད་ཉེན་ཡོད་དོ། 7  དེ་ཚོའི་ནང་ནས་གཅིག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་ཉེ་རྒྱང་གང་རུང་དུ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་མཁན་གྱི་མི་ཚོའི་ལྷ་རྟེན་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་པའི་ཕྱིར་ངན་བསྐུལ་བྱེད་ཉེན་ཡོད། 8  དེ་བས་ན་དེའི་སླུ་འཁྲིད་ནང་མ་ཚུད་པར། དེས་གང་བཤད་པ་དེ་ལ་མ་ཉོན་ཅིག། དེ་ལ་སྙིང་རྗེ་དང་། སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་སོགས་གང་ཡང་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག 9  དེ་ལ་གསོད་ཅིག། དེ་ལ་ཐོག་མར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རྡོ་བརྒྱབ་ནས། དེ་རྗེས་ཚང་མས་ཁོ་ལ་རྡོ་རུབ་བརྒྱབ་ནས་གསོད་དགོས་སོ། 10  གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། ཁོས་སྔར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཨི་ཇིབ་ཀྱི་བྲན་འཁོལ་ནས་ཕྱིར་བཏོན་མཛད་དེ་འཁྲིད་ཕེབས་མཁན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ཐག་རིང་འཁྲིད་ཐབས་བྱས་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ། 11  དེ་ནས་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་མི་མང་ཚང་མས་གནས་ཚུལ་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་འཇིག་སྣང་སྐྱེས་ཤིང་། སླད་ཕྱིན་ལས་ངན་དེ་འདྲ་སུས་ཀྱང་བྱེད་མི་ནུས་སོ།

12  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་གནང་བའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཁག་ཏུ་གནད་སྡོད་བྱེད་སྐབས། 13  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མི་རིགས་ཀྱི་ཁོངས་ནས་ཕན་མེད་མི་འགའ་ཤས་ཀྱིས་གྲོང་ཚོ་དེ་གའི་མི་རྣམས་ལ། དེ་སྔ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ནམ་ཡང་མཆོད་མ་མྱོང་བའི་ལྷ་རྟེན་དག་ལ་མཆོད་པའི་ངན་བསྐུལ་ལམ་ལོག་ཏུ་འཁྲིད་པའི་སྐོར་ཐོས་ཉེན་ཡོད། 14  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེ་ལྟ་བུའི་དཀྲོག་གཏམ་ཐོས་པ་ཡིན་ན། དེ་ལ་བརྟག་དཔྱད་ཞིབ་པར་བྱེད་དགོས། གལ་ཏེ་དོན་དམ་དུ་རྐྱེན་ངན་དེ་འདྲ་ཞིག་བྱུང་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ན། 15  གྲོང་ཚོ་དེའི་མི་དང་ཕྱུགས་ཟོགས་དང་བཅས་པ་ཚང་མ་བསད་དེ། གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེའང་ཡོངས་སུ་སྟོར་ཤིག་གཏོང་དགོས། 16  དེ་གའི་ཡུལ་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་ནོར་ཚང་མ་ཕྱོགས་གཅིག་ཏུ་བསྡུས་ནས་ཁྲོམ་རའི་དཀྱིལ་དུ་སྤུངས་ཏེ། དེ་རྗེས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་མཆོད་འབུལ་གྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་དང་། དེའི་ནང་ཇི་ཡོད་པ་ཚང་མ་མེར་སྲེག་གཏོང་དགོས། དེ་རྗེས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དེ་ནི་རྟག་ཏུ་གྱང་གོག་གི་གནས་སྟངས་སུ་བཞག་དགོས་པ་ལས། དེར་ནམ་ཡང་གཞིག་གསོས་བྱེད་པར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། 17  རྩ་སྟོར་གཏོང་རྒྱུའི་དངོས་རིགས་ཀྱི་ཁོངས་ནས་སོ་སོའི་དོན་དུ་གང་ཡང་བདག་ཉར་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག དེ་རྗེས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཐུགས་ཁྲོ་དྲག་པོ་དེ་ཡོངས་སུ་ཞི་ཞིང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སྙིང་རྗེ་གནང་རྒྱུ་དང་། སྔར་ཁོང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མེས་པོ་རྣམས་ལ་ཞལ་བཞེས་གནང་བ་བཞིན། ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མི་འབོར་ཡང་གྲངས་ལས་འདས་པར་འཕེལ་རྒྱས་ཡོང་ངེས་སོ། 18  ངས་དེ་རིང་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་སྤྲད་པའི་བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་རྣམས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་སྲུང་ཞིང་། ཁོང་གི་ཐུགས་དགོངས་བཞིན་དུ་བྱེད་པ་ཡིན་ན། ཁོང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་དེ་བཞིན་གནང་ངེས་སོ༎

Deuteronomy 13

“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, 2 and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, ‘Let us go after other gods,’ which you have not known, ‘and let us serve them,’ 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. 5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

6 “If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife you embrace or your friend who is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which neither you nor your fathers have known, 7 some of the gods of the peoples who are around you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, 8 you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. 9 But you shall kill him. Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. 10 You shall stone him to death with stones, because he sought to draw you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 11 And all Israel shall hear and fear and never again do any such wickedness as this among you.

12 “If you hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God is giving you to dwell there, 13 that certain worthless fellows have gone out among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of their city, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods,’ which you have not known, 14 then you shall inquire and make search and ask diligently. And behold, if it be true and certain that such an abomination has been done among you, 15 you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, devoting it to destruction, all who are in it and its cattle, with the edge of the sword. 16 You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and burn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the Lord your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again. 17 None of the devoted things shall stick to your hand, that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his anger and show you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as he swore to your fathers, 18 if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping all his commandments that I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the Lord your God.

1  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་མེས་པོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་གནང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པའི་ཡུལ་དེར་གནས་ཡུན་རིང་ལ། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རྩིས་སྲུང་ཞུ་དགོས་པའི་ཁྲིམས་འདི་དག་ལ་ཉོན་ཅིག 2  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བདག་འཛིན་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པའི་ཡུལ་དེར་རི་མཐོ་པོ་རྣམས་དང་། རི་བརྒྱུད་ཁག་དང་། ཤིང་སྡོང་ལྗང་ཁུའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཡོད་པའི་དེ་ཚོའི་ལྷ་རྟེན་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་ཕྱིར་གཞན་གྱིས་བཟོས་པའི་ས་གནས་དེ་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་སྟོར་ཤིག་གཏོང་དགོས་པ་དང་། 3  དེ་ཚོའི་མཆོད་ཁྲི་རྣམས་སྟོར་ཤིག་བཏང་ནས་དབྱུགས་དགོས། རྡོའི་ཀ་བ་རྩ་ཆེན་རྣམས་དུམ་བུར་བཅག་སྟེ་སྟོར་དགོས། ལྷ་མོ་ཨ་ཤེ་རཱའི་འདྲ་སྐུ་རྣམས་མེར་སྲེག་གཏོང་དགོས། འདྲ་སྐུ་གཞན་རྣམས་ཀྱང་བཏུབ་ནས་དབྱུགས་དགོས། གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། ཕྱིས་སུ་ས་ཁུལ་དེ་ཚོར་སླར་ཡང་ལྷ་རྟེན་དེ་དག་ལ་མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱེད་མི་ཐུབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།

4  མི་རིགས་འདི་ཚོས་རང་གི་ལྷ་རྟེན་དག་ལ་མཆོད་པ་བཞིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དེ་བཞིན་མ་མཆོད་ཅིག  5  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྡེ་རིགས་ཚང་མའི་ས་ཁོངས་ནས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ས་གནས་གཅིག་རང་འདམས་པ་གནང་ཞིང་། དེར་མི་རྣམས་ཁོང་གི་སྤྱན་སྔར་བཅར་ཏེ། ཁོང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་བར་འགྱུར། 6  དེར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་དམར་མཆོད་ཀྱི་སྦྱིན་སྲེག་དང་དམར་མཆོད་གཞན་རྣམས་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་འབུལ་བའི་བཅུ་ཁག་དང་འབུལ་བ་སོགས་དང་། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམ་བཅའ་ཞུས་པའི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་དང་། དང་བླངས་ཀྱི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་དང་། རང་གི་སྒོ་ཕྱུགས་ཀྱི་སྔོན་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་འབུལ་བ་སོགས་འབུལ་ཞིང་།  7  དེར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་མཁན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རང་གི་ནང་མི་དང་བཅས་པས་རང་གིས་འབད་བརྩོན་བྱས་པའི་འགྲུབ་འབྲས་བཟང་པོ་བཟའ་ཞིང་ལོངས་སུ་སྤྱོད་པར་འགྱུར།

8  དུས་དེ་རན་སྐབས། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ད་བར་བྱེད་སྟངས་གང་བྱས་པ་བཞིན་ད་ཕྱིན་ཆད་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག ད་བར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་འདོད་མོས་བཞིན་དུ་མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱས་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། 9  གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཞི་བདེའི་ངང་དུ་གནས་ཐུབ་པའི་ཕྱིར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གནང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པའི་ཡུལ་དེར་འཛུལ་མེད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། 10  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གཙང་པོ་ཡོར་དན་རྒལ་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཡུལ་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་བདག་དབང་དུ་གནང་ཞིང་དེར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱ་རྒྱུ་དང་། དེར་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་དགྲ་བོའི་འཇིགས་པ་ཀུན་ལས་སྐྱབས་པ་གནང་ཞིང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཞི་བདེའི་ངང་དུ་གནས་པར་འགྱུར། 11  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁོང་ལ་བསྙེན་བཀུར་ཞུ་བའི་ས་གནས་གཞན་དང་མི་འདྲ་བ་ཞིག་ཁོང་གིས་འདམས་གནང་ཞིང་། ངས་སྨྲས་པ་བཞིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེར་རང་གི་དམར་མཆོད་ཀྱི་སྦྱིན་སྲེག་དང་དམར་མཆོད་གཞན་རྣམས་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་འབུལ་བའི་བཅུ་ཁག་དང་འབུལ་བ་སོགས་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམ་བཅའ་ཞུས་པའི་དམིགས་བསལ་གྱི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་དགོས། 12  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སྤྱན་སྔར་རང་གི་བུ་ཕྲུག་དང་། འཁོར་གཡོག་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དུ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་པའི་ལེ་ཝི་པ་དང་བཅས་པ་ཚང་མ་དགའ་མགུར་སྤྱོད་ཅིང་། ལེ་ཝི་པ་རྣམས་ལ་རང་གི་ས་སྐལ་མེད་པ་དེ་དྲན་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག 13  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འདོད་མོས་བཞིན་ས་གནས་གང་རུང་དུ་རང་གི་དམར་མཆོད་མ་འབུལ་ཞིག 14  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་སྡེ་རིགས་ཁོངས་ནས་འདེམས་སྒྲུག་གནང་བའི་ས་གནས་དེ་རང་གཅིག་པོར་རང་གི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་འབུལ་དགོས་པ་དང་། ས་གནས་དེ་རང་གཅིག་པོར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་སྦྱིན་སྲེག་གི་མཆོད་འབུལ་དང་། ངས་སྨྲས་པའི་དོན་གནད་གཞན་རྣམས་བྱེད་ཆོག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

15  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གང་དུ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་པའི་ས་གནས་དེ་རང་དུ་རང་གི་འདོད་མོས་བཞིན་སེམས་ཅན་བསད་ནས་ཟ་ཆོག་པ་དང་། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་གནང་བའི་སེམས་ཅན་མང་ཉུང་ཇི་ཙམ་ཡང་ཟ་ཆོག ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ཆོས་ཁྲིམས་བཞིན་དུ་གཙང་བའམ་མི་གཙང་བ་བྱུང་ཡོད་ན་ཡང་རི་དགས་ཤ་བའམ་ཤ་མོའི་ཤ་ཟ་བ་བཞིན་དེ་ཡང་ཟ་ཆོག་གོ 16  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེ་ཚོའི་ཁྲག་ཟ་མི་ཆོག། འོན་ཀྱང་ཆུ་གཤོ་བ་བཞིན་ཁྲག་དེའང་སའི་ཁར་གཤོས་ཤིག 17  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་ལོ་ཐོག་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་ཁ་སྐྱུར་པོའི་སྣུམ་བཅས་ཀྱི་བཅུ་ཁག་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ལུག་ལ་སོགས་པའི་ཟོག་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྔོན་སྐྱེས་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམ་བཅའ་ཕུལ་བའི་འབུལ་བ་ཁག་དང་། དང་བླངས་ཀྱི་འབུལ་བ་ཁག་དང་དེ་བཞིན་འབུལ་བ་གཞན་རྣམས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་ཕུལ་བའི་རྗེས་སུ། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་འབུལ་བ་དེ་རྣམས་རང་གི་སྡོད་གནས་རང་དུ་ཟ་མི་རུང་། 18  འབུལ་བ་དེ་རྣམས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་བུ་ཕྲུག་རྣམས་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་འཁོར་གཡོག་རྣམས་དང་། དེ་བཞིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཁག་ཏུ་གནས་སྡོད་བྱེད་པའི་ལེ་ཝི་པ་རྣམས་དང་མཉམ་དུ་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་འདེམས་སྒྲུག་གནང་བའི་མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱེད་སའི་ས་གནས་གཅིག་པོར་ཁོང་གི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ཟ་དགོས་པ་མ་ཟད། དེར་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གང་བྱས་པའི་ལས་དོན་ཚང་མར་དགའ་སྤྲོ་སྐྱེས་དགོས། 19  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རང་ཡུལ་དུ་གནས་ཡུན་རིང་དུ་ལེ་ཝི་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ལྟ་སྐྱོང་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་སེམས་འཁུར་བྱོས་ཤིག

20  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ཞལ་བཞེས་གནང་བ་བཞིན་ཁོང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཡུལ་གྱི་ས་མཚམས་རྒྱ་ཆེ་རུ་གཏོང་བ་གནང་སྐབས། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་འདོད་མོས་བཞིན་ག་དུས་ཡིན་རུང་ཤ་ཟ་ཆོག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། 21  མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱེད་སའི་གནས་དེ་ས་ཐག་རིང་པོར་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ན། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ག་དུས་ཡིན་རུང་རང་གི་འདོད་མོས་བཞིན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་གནང་བའི་བ་ཕྱུགས་སམ་ལུག་དག་བསད་ནས་ངས་སྨྲས་པ་བཞིན་སོ་སོའི་ནང་དུ་ཤ་དེ་ཟ་ཆོག 22  ཆོས་ཁྲིམས་གཞིར་བཟུང་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་སུ་ཞིག་དག་སྦྱང་བྱུང་ཡོད་མིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རི་དྭགས་ཤ་བ་ཕོ་མོའི་ཤ་ཟ་བ་བཞིན་ཤ་དེའང་དེ་བཞིན་ཟ་ཆོག་མོད། 23  འོན་ཀྱང་ད་དུང་ཁྲག་འབྲེལ་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན་ན་ཤ་དེ་ཟ་མི་རུང་། གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། ཁྲག་གི་ནང་སྲོག་ཡོད་པས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཤ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སྲོག་དེ་ཟ་མི་རུང་བ་ཡིན་ནོ། 24  ཁྲག་ནི་ཟས་སུ་ལོངས་མ་སྤྱད་པར། ཆུ་གཤོ་བ་བཞིན་ཁྲག་དེ་སའི་ཁར་གཤོས་ཤིག་དང་། 25  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་འདི་དག་བརྩིས་སྲུང་ཞུས་ན་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཐུགས་མཉེས་ཤིང་། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་དང་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་དང་བཅས་པར་བྱ་བ་ལམ་འགྲོ་ཡོང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་ནོ། 26  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་རང་གི་འབུལ་བ་ཁག་དང་། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དམ་བཅའ་ཕུལ་བའི་དམིགས་བསལ་གྱི་འབུལ་བའི་འབུལ་བ་རྣམས་མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱེད་སའི་ས་གནས་གཅིག་པོ་དེར་འཁྱེར་ཡོང་དགོས། 27  གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་མཆོད་ཁྲིའི་སྟེང་དུ་ཡོངས་སུ་མེར་སྲེག་གཏོང་དགོས་པའི་དམར་མཆོད་རྣམས་གནས་དེར་འབུལ་དགོས། འབུལ་བའི་ཤ་དེ་ཟས་ནས་ཁྲག་དེ་མཆོད་ཁྲིའི་ཁར་གཏོར་དགོས་པའི་མཆོད་པ་དེའང་ས་གནས་དེ་རང་དུ་བྱོས་ཤིག་དང་། 28  ངས་གང་སྨྲས་པ་ཚང་མ་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཚུལ་བཞིན་སྲུང་བ་ཡིན་ན། ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རང་གི་མི་བརྒྱུད་དང་བཅས་པར་ལས་དོན་གང་སྤྱིར་ལམ་འགྲོ་ཡོང་ངེས་སོ། གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། དེ་ལྟར་བྱས་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གང་བཟང་ཞིང་རིགས་པ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཐུགས་མཉེས་པའི་ལས་བྱེད་དོོ༎

29  ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དབང་འཛིན་བྱས་པའི་ཡུལ་གྱི་མི་རིགས་རྣམས་ལ་གཅོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཚར་གཅོད་གནང་ཞིང་། དེར་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་གཞིས་ཆགས་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། 30  ཡང་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་མི་རིགས་དེ་ཚོ་ཚར་གཅོད་གནང་བའི་རྗེས་སུ། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་དེ་དག་གི་ཆོས་ལུགས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་མ་འབྲངས་ཤིག དེ་མིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་རྙི་ནང་ཚུད་བར་འགྱུར། དེ་ཚོས་མཆོད་ལྟངས་ཇི་ལྟར་ཡིན་ནམ་ཞེས་ཤེས་འདོད་ཙམ་ཡང་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག དེ་མིན་ཁྱོད་ཚོས་ཀྱང་དེ་བཞིན་བྱེད་ཉེན་ཡོད། 31  དེ་ཚོས་རང་གི་ལྷ་རྟེན་སོགས་ལ་མཆོད་འབུལ་བྱེད་སྐབས། གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་སྡང་བ་དང་ལས་ངན་སྐྱོག་བྲོ་པོ་དག་བྱེད་སྲོལ་ཡོད་པས། ཁྱོད་ཚོས་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་དེ་བཞིན་མཆོད་འབུལ་མ་བྱེད་ཅིག དེ་ཚོས་རང་གི་ཕྲུ་གུའང་མེའི་མཆོད་ཁྲིའི་ཁར་དམར་མཆོད་འབུལ་གྱི་ཡོད།

32  ངས་སློབ་སྟོན་བྱས་པའི་བཀའ་རྒྱ་ཚང་མ་སྒྲུབ་དགོས་པ་དང་། དེའི་ཁར་ཚིག་གཅིག་ཀྱང་འཕར་གནོན་བརྒྱབ་པའམ་དེ་ལས་ཚིག་གཅིག་ཀྱང་འཐེན་པ་སོགས་བྱེད་མི་རུང་ངོ་༎

Deuteronomy 12

“These are the statutes and rules that you shall be careful to do in the land that the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess, all the days that you live on the earth. 2 You shall surely destroy all the places where the nations whom you shall dispossess served their gods, on the high mountains and on the hills and under every green tree. 3 You shall tear down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and burn their Asherim with fire. You shall chop down the carved images of their gods and destroy their name out of that place. 4 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way. 5 But you shall seek the place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there. There you shall go, 6 and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock. 7 And there you shall eat before the Lord your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your households, in all that you undertake, in which the Lord your God has blessed you.

8 “You shall not do according to all that we are doing here today, everyone doing whatever is right in his own eyes, 9 for you have not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance that the Lord your God is giving you. 10 But when you go over the Jordan and live in the land that the Lord your God is giving you to inherit, and when he gives you rest from all your enemies around, so that you live in safety, 11 then to the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, and all your finest vow offerings that you vow to the Lord. 12 And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters, your male servants and your female servants, and the Levite that is within your towns, since he has no portion or inheritance with you. 13 Take care that you do not offer your burnt offerings at any place that you see, 14 but at the place that the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I am commanding you.

15 “However, you may slaughter and eat meat within any of your towns, as much as you desire, according to the blessing of the Lord your God that he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and as of the deer. 16 Only you shall not eat the blood; you shall pour it out on the earth like water. 17 You may not eat within your towns the tithe of your grain or of your wine or of your oil, or the firstborn of your herd or of your flock, or any of your vow offerings that you vow, or your freewill offerings or the contribution that you present, 18 but you shall eat them before the Lord your God in the place that the Lord your God will choose, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your towns. And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God in all that you undertake. 19 Take care that you do not neglect the Levite as long as you live in your land.

20 “When the Lord your God enlarges your territory, as he has promised you, and you say, ‘I will eat meat,’ because you crave meat, you may eat meat whenever you desire. 21 If the place that the Lord your God will choose to put his name there is too far from you, then you may kill any of your herd or your flock, which the Lord has given you, as I have commanded you, and you may eat within your towns whenever you desire. 22 Just as the gazelle or the deer is eaten, so you may eat of it. The unclean and the clean alike may eat of it. 23 Only be sure that you do not eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh. 24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it out on the earth like water. 25 You shall not eat it, that all may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord. 26 But the holy things that are due from you, and your vow offerings, you shall take, and you shall go to the place that the Lord will choose, 27 and offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of the Lord your God. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the Lord your God, but the flesh you may eat. 28 Be careful to obey all these words that I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.

29 “When the Lord your God cuts off before you the nations whom you go in to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, 30 take care that you be not ensnared to follow them, after they have been destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire about their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods?—that I also may do the same.’ 31 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

32 “Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.
