ལུ་གུ་ཕོ་ཁོང་གིས་ཤོག་དྲིལ་གྱི་ཐེལ་ཙེ་དེ་ཚོ་འབྱེད་བ།
The Lamb opens the Seals of the Scroll
1 [ལྗཱོན་] ངས་མིག་བལྟས་ནས་བསྡད་དུས་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཤོག་དྲིལ་དེའི་སྒང་གི་ཐེལ་ཙེ་བདུན་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ནས་
ཐེལ་ཙེ་དང་པོ་དེ་བཅག་གནང་སོང༌། དེ་ནས་ངས་སྲོག་ཆགས་བཞི་པོ་དེ་ཚོ་ནས་སྲོག་ཆགས་གཅིག་གིས་
འབྲུག་སྐད་གྲགས་པ་ནང་བཞིན་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་ནས་ “ཤོག་” ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་པ་ངས་གོ་བྱུང༌།
1 As I [John] watched, the Lamb broke open the first of the seven seals on the scroll. Then I heard one of the four living beings say with a voice that sounded like thunder, “Come!”
2 ངས་ཡར་མིག་བལྟས་
ནས་དེར་རྟ་དཀར་པོ་ཞིག་ལང་ཡོད་པ་མཐོང་བྱུང༌། རྟ་དེའི་སྒང་ལ་བཞོན་ཡོད་པའི་རྟ་པ་དེས་གཞུ་ཞིག་
ཁུར་ཡོད་པ་དང༌། ཁོང་ལ་ (རང་གི་མགོ་ལ་གོན་རྒྱུའི་ཆེད་དུ་) མགོ་རྒྱན་ཞིག་སྤྲད་འདུག །དེ་ནས་
ཁོང་དམག་མང་པོ་རྒྱལ་ཁ་འཐོབ་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་རྟ་བཞོན་ནས་ཕྱིན་སོང༌།
2 I looked up and saw a white horse standing there. The rider on the horse carried a bow, and he was given a crown (to put on his head). He then rode out to win many battles and gain the victory.
3 ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཐེལ་ཙེ་
གཉིས་པ་དེ་གཅོག་དུས་ངས་སྲོག་ཆགས་གཉིས་པ་དེས་“ཤོག་” ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་པ་ཐོས་བྱུང༌།
3 When the Lamb broke open the second seal, I heard the second living being say, “Come!”
4 དེ་ནས་རྟ་གཞན་དག་དམར་པོ་བཀྲག་མདངས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ [བཞུགས་ཁྲི་དེ་ནས་] ཐོན་སོང༌། རྟ་དེའི་
སྒང་ལ་བཞོན་ཡོད་པའི་རྟ་པ་དེ་ལ་རིང་གྲི་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་སྤྲད་འདུག །ཁོང་ལ་ས་གཞི་འདི་ལ་ཞི་བདེ་མེད་པ་བཟོ་རྒྱུའི་དབང་ཆ་སྤྲད་འདུག །དེ་ནས་དམག་ལངས་ནས་ཕྱོགས་མཐའ་གང་སར་མི་གསོད་ཁྲག་སྦྱོར་
བྱས་སོང་།
4 Then another horse, a bright red one appeared [from where the throne was]. And the rider on the horse was given a mighty sword. He was given the authority to take peace away from the earth. Then war broke out and there was slaughter everywhere.
5 ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཐེལ་ཙེ་
གསུམ་པ་དེ་གཅོག་དུས་ངས་སྲོག་ཆགས་གསུམ་པ་དེས་“ཤོག་” ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་པ་ཐོས་བྱུང་། ངས་ཡར་མིག་
བལྟས་ནས་རྟ་ནག་པོ་ཞིག་མཐོང་བྱུང༌། དེའི་རྟ་པ་དེས་རང་གི་ལག་པའི་ནང་རྒྱ་སྲང་ཆ་གཅིག་བཟུང་འདུག
5 When the Lamb broke open the third seal, I heard the third living being say, “Come!” I looked up and saw a black horse, and its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.
6 དེ་ནས་ངས་སྒྲ་
ཞིག་ཐོས་པ་དང་། དེ་སྐད་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ཞིག་འདྲ་པོ་འདུག །དེ་སྲོག་ཆགས་བཞི་པོ་དེ་ཚོའི་ཁྲོད་ནས་ཐོས་སོང་། དེས་ལབ་སོང་། “ཉི་མ་གཅིག་གི་གླ་ཆ་ལ་གྲོའི་བག་ལེབ་གཅིག་དང༌། ཡང་ན་ནས་ཀྱི་བག་ལེབ་གསུམ་རག་
གི་རེད། སྐྱུ་རུའི་སྣུམ་དང་རྒུན་ཆང་འཕྲོ་བརླག་མ་ཐོང་།”
6 And I heard a sound which seemed to be a voice. It came from among the four living beings. The voice said, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley bread will cost a day’s wages. And do not waste the olive oil and the wine.”
7 ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཐེལ་ཙེ་བཞི་པ་དེ་གཅོག་གནང་དུས་ངས་སྲོག་ཆགས་བཞི་པ་དེས་ “ཤོག་” ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་པ་
ཐོས་བྱུང༌།
7 When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living being say, “Come!”
8 ངས་ཡར་བལྟས་ནས་རྟ་ཞིག་མཐོང་བྱུང༌། དེའི་མདོག་[ལྗང་] སྐྱ་རེད་འདུག །རྟ་པ་དེའི་མིང་ལ་འཆི་
བ་ཡིན་པ་ [དང་། དེའི་རོགས་པ་] གཤིན་ཁམས་དེའི་རྗེས་ལ་ཕྱིན་སོང་། འདི་གཉིས་ལ་ས་གཞི་བཞི་ཆ་
གཅིག་གི་ཐོག་ལ་དབང་ཆ་སྤྲད་འདུག །ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་ས་གཞིའི་མི་བཞི་ཆ་གཅིག་གྲི་དང་། མུ་གེ་དང་། ནད་རིམས་དང་། རི་དྭགས་ཀྱིས་གསོད་རྒྱུའི་དབང་ཆ་སྤྲད་འདུག
8 I looked up and saw a horse whose colour was pale [green]. The rider was named Death, (and its companion) Hades followed close behind. These two were given authority over one quarter of the earth. They were authorized to kill one fourth of the earth’s people with the sword and famine and plague and wild animals.
9 ལུ་གུ་དེས་ཐེལ་ཙེ་ལྔ་པ་དེ་གཅོག་དུས་ངས་མཆོད་ཁྲི་དེའི་འོག་ལ་མི་བསད་པ་དེ་ཚོའི་སེམས་ཉིད་མཐོང་བྱུང་།
ཁོང་ཚོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་བཀའ་ལ་བློ་གཏད་བཅོལ་བ་དང་། ལྷག་བསམ་རྣམ་པར་དག་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་དེ་ཁྱབ་
བསྒྲགས་བྱས་པའི་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་བསད་འདུག
9 When the Lamb broke open the fifth seal, I saw at the foot of the altar, the spirits of those who had been slain. They had been slain because they had trusted in the Word of God and had faithfully proclaimed it.
10 དེ་ཚོས་སྐད་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོ་བརྒྱབ་ནས་ “ཀྱེ་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་དང་། དམ་པ་དང་བདེན་པ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་
ས་གཞི་ཐོག་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚོས་ང་ཚོ་ལ་ག་རེ་བྱས་པ་དེ་ལ་ཁོ་ཚོར་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅད་མ་གནང་བ་དང་། འཁོན་ལན་
སློག་མ་གནང་བར་ག་དུས་བར་དུ་བཞུགས་ཀྱི་ཡིན་པས།” ཟེར་ནས་ལབ་སོང༌།
10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long will you refrain from judging and avenging the people on earth for what they have done to us?”
11 དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་དཔའ་བོ་སྲོག་
བློས་གཏོང་མཁན་མི་དེ་ཚོ་རེ་རེ་ལ་ཕྱུ་པ་དཀར་པོ་རེ་རེ་གནང་སོང་། ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་སེམས་ལྷོད་ལྷོད་བྱས་ནས་
རྒྱུན་རིང་ཙམ་སྒུགས་ཤིག་གསུངས་སོང་། གང་ཡིན་ཟེར་ན། ཡེ་ཤུ་ལ་དད་པ་བྱེད་མཁན་ཁོང་ཚོའི་རོགས་
པ་མང་པོ་ཞིག་ལ་ད་དུང་ཚུར་རྒོལ་བྱེད་པ་དང་གསོད་གྲབས་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཡོད་པ་རེད། ཁོང་ཚོ་ཤི་བའི་རྗེས་ལ་
ཡེ་ཤུ་ལ་དད་པ་བྱེད་མཁན་དེ་སྔོན་སྲོག་བློས་གཏོང་བྱེད་མཁན་དཔའ་བོ་འདི་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འཛོམས་ཀྱི་རེད།
[ལྗཱོན་གྱིས་དམ་པའི་ཞིང་ནང་མཆོད་ཁྲི་གཤམ་ལ་སྒུག་ནས་སྡོད་ཡོད་པ་གཟིགས་པ་དེ་ཚོ་ཁོང་ཚོའི་སེམས་ཉིད་
ཡིན་པ་རེད།]
11 God gave each one of these martyrs who were waiting, a white robe. They were told not to worry but to wait a little longer because many of their fellow believers in Jesus were still being attacked and were about to be killed. When they have died these believers in Jesus will join with their fellow martyrs who had been killed earlier. [It was the spirits of those who had been killed that John saw waiting at the foot of the altar in Heaven].
12 ངས་མིག་བལྟས་དུས་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཐེལ་ཙེ་དྲུག་པ་དེ་བཅག་གནང་བ་དང་། ས་ཡོམ་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་བརྒྱབ་སོང༌། ཉི་མ་ནག་པོ་ཆགས་ནས་དེ་སྐྲ་(ནག་པོས) བཟོས་པའི་རྩྭ་རས་འདྲ་པོ་ནག་པོ་ཆགས་པ་དང་།
ཟླ་དཀར་ཁྲག་ནང་བཞིན་དམར་པོ་ཆགས་སོང༌།
12 I watched as the Lamb broke open the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun became black. It was as dark as sackcloth made of (black) hair, and the whole moon became as red as blood.
13 དེ་ནས་ནམ་མཁའི་སྐར་མ་དེ་ཚོ་ས་
ལ་ཟགས་སོང་། དེ་ཚོ་ལྷག་པ་ཤུགས་ཆེན་པོས་སྤྲུག་དུས་སེ་ཡབ་ཀྱི་སྡོང་པོ་ནས་སེ་ཡབ་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་ལྗང་ཁུ་
ཟགས་པ་འདྲ་པོ་ཟགས་སོང་།
13 Then the stars in the sky fell to the earth. They fell like unripe figs falling from a fig tree when it is shaken by a very strong wind.
14 ནམ་མཁའ་ཤོག་དྲིལ་ནང་
བཞིན་དྲིལ་བ་དང༌། རི་དང་གླིང་ཕྲན་ཚང་མ་རང་ས་ནས་གནས་ཕོས་སོང༌།
14 The sky receded like a scroll that was being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15 དེ་ནས་ས་གཞིའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚོ་དང་། སྲིད་སྐྱོང་། དམག་སྤྱི་། མི་འབྱོར་ལྡན། མི་དབང་ཤུགས་ཅན། བྲན་གཡོག་དང་རང་དབང་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་བྲག་རི་ཁྲོད་ལ་ཡིབས་སོང་།
15 Then the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and every free person hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16 ཁོང་ཚོས་རི་དང་བྲག་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་སྐད་བརྒྱབ་
ནས་ལབ་སོང་། “ང་ཚོ་ཁོབས་ཤིག །བཞུགས་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་བཞུགས་ཡོད་པ་ཁོང་དང་། ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་ནས་
འཐོབ་འོས་པའི་ཉེས་ཆད་ནས་ང་ཚོ་སྦོས་ཤིག
16 They called out to the mountains and the rocks, saying, “Fall on us! Hide us from the One who sits on the throne and from the retribution of the Lamb!
17 ཨ་ཁ་ཁ། (མུ་མཐུད་ནས་ངན་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་པ་དང་། འགྱོད་པ་བྱེད་རྒྱུའི་འདོད་པ་མ་བྱེད་མཁན་
ཚང་མ་ལ་) དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་ལུ་གུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཞལ་ཆེ་གཅད་གནང་བ་དང་། ཉེས་པ་གཏོང་གནང་རྒྱུའི་
འཇིག་སྐྲག་སྐྱེ་རུང་བའི་ཉིན་མོ་དེ་ད་ལྟ་སླེབས་འདུག །ཉེས་པ་དེ་ནས་མི་སུ་ཞིག་གསོན་པོ་ཐར་གྱི་མ་རེད།”
17 Alas! That terrible day when God and the Lamb will judge and punish (all those who continue to do evil and refuse to repent) has now come. And no one will be able to survive such punishment.”
