བཀོད་པ 49 – Genesis 49

49:1  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་རྣམས་བོས་ནས་སྨྲས་པ།  ཁྱོད་ཚོ་འདིར་འཛོམས་ཤིག་དང་།  མ་འོངས་པའི་དུས་སུ་ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཐོག་ཏུ་གང་འབྱུང་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པའི་སྐོར་ངས་ཁྱོད་ཚོར་ཤོད་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།

Then Jacob called his sons and said, “Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you what shall happen to you in days to come.

49:2  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་བུ་རྣམས་འཛོམས་ནས་ཉོན་ཞིག  ཁྱོད་ཚོའི་ཡབ་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་ལ་ཉོན་ཞིག

“Assemble and listen, O sons of Jacob, listen to Israel your father.

49:3  རུ་བྷེན་ཁྱོད་ནི་ངའི་སྔོན་སྐྱེས་དང་།  ང་ཡི་གཞོན་དུས་ཀྱི་འབྲས་བུ་དང་པོ་ཡིན།  ང་ཡི་བུ་རྣམས་ལས་བསྟོད་འོས་པ་དང་སྟོབས་ཆེའོ།

“Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the firstfruits of my strength, preeminent in dignity and preeminent in power.

49:4  རྦ་རླབས་ཆེ་ལྟར་ཁྱོད་ནི་ཡོད་ནའང་།  ཚང་མའི་ནང་ནས་མཆོག་ཆེན་ཁྱོད་མི་འགྱུར།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན་ང་ཡི་ཟུར་གྲོགས་མ་མཉམ་ཉལ།  རང་གི་ཕ་ཡི་ཉལ་ཁྲི་རྩིས་མེད་བྱས།

Unstable as water, you shall not have preeminence, because you went up to your father’s bed; then you defiled it—he went up to my couch!

49:5  སིམ་ཨོན་དང་ནི་ལེ་ཝི་སྤུན་རྣམས་ཡིན།  དྲག་སྤྱོད་བྱེད་ཕྱིར་ཁོང་ཚོས་མཚོན་ཆ་སྤྱོད།

“Simeon and Levi are brothers; weapons of violence are their swords.

49:6  ཁོང་ཚོ་གསང་བའི་གྲོས་ནང་ང་མི་འཛོམས།  ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཚོགས་འདུའི་ནང་ལ་ང་མི་འགྲོ།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན།  ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཁོང་ཁྲོའི་ངང་ན་མི་རྣམས་བསད།  ལུས་ཙལ་ངང་ན་གླང་གི་རྐང་པ་བཅག།

Let my soul come not into their council; O my glory, be not joined to their company. For in their anger they killed men, and in their willfulness they hamstrung oxen.

49:7  ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཁོང་ཁྲོའི་ཐོག་ཏུ་དམོད་པ་འཕོག་པར་ཤོག།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན་དེ་ནི་སྡུག་རྩུབ་ཆེ།  ཁོང་ཚོའི་ཁྲོ་བའི་ཐོག་ཏུ་དམོད་པ་འཕོག་པར་ཤོག།  གང་ལ་ཟེར་ན་དེ་ནི་སྡུག་རྩུབ་ཆེ།  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་ནང་ང་ཡིས་ཁོང་ཚོ་སྟོར།  དེ་ཚོའི་མི་འབངས་ཁྲོད་དུ་ང་ཡིས་སྟོར།

Cursed be their anger, for it is fierce, and their wrath, for it is cruel! I will divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.

49:8  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྤུན་ཚོས་ཁྱོད་བསྟོད་ཡོང།  རང་གི་དགྲ་ཚོར་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་སྐེ་ནས་བཟུང་།  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྤུན་ཚོས་ཁྱོད་མདུན་མགོ་སྒུར་ཡོང་།

“Judah, your brothers shall praise you; your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons shall bow down before you.

49:9  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ནི་སེང་གེ་ལྟར་ཡིན་པས།  རི་དྭགས་བསད་དེ་རང་གི་ཚང་ནང་ལོག།  རྐང་པ་བརྐྱངས་ཏེ་ས་རུ་གཉིད་ལོག་ཅིང་།  སུ་ཞིག་གིས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལ་དཀྲོག་མི་ནུས།

Judah is a lion’s cub; from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down; he crouched as a lion and as a lioness; who dares rouse him?

49:10  ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ཡིས་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཕྱག་བེར་བཟུང་བ་དང།  ཁོའི་མི་རྒྱུ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱུན་དུ་དབང་སྒྱུར་བྱས།  མི་རིགས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་ཙར་ཁྲལ་འཁྱེར་ཡོང།  ཁོའིི་མདུན་འགུར་ནས་ཁོའི་བཀའ་སྲུང་བར་བྱ།

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

49:11  ཁོ་ཡི་རང་གི་བོང་བུའི་རྟེའུ་ལ་རྒུན་ཚལ་ཤིང་གི་སྡོང་པོར་དང་།  རྒུན་ཤིང་ལེགས་ཤོས་རིགས་ཀྱི་ཡལ་གར་བཏགས་པར་འགྱུར།  ཁོ་ཡིས་རང་གི་གོས་རྣམས་རྒུན་ཆང་ཁྲག་ལྟར་དམར་པོ་ནང་དུ་འཁྲུ་བར་བྱ།

Binding his foal to the vine and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he has washed his garments in wine and his vesture in the blood of grapes.

49:12  རྒུན་ཆང་འཐུང་སྟེ་ཁོའི་མིག་དམར་པོར་འགྱུར་ཡོད་དོ།  འོ་མ་འཐུང་སྟེ་ཁོའི་སོ་དཀར་པོར་འགྱུར།

His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk.

49:13  ཛེ་བུ་ལུན་ནི་རྒྱ་མཚོའི་འགྲམ་དུ་གནས་པར་འགྱུར།  གྲུ་རྣམས་འཇོག་གནས་གྲུ་ཁ་ཞིག་ཏུ་འགྱུར།  ཁོ་ཡི་ས་མཚམས་སི་དོན་ཡུལ་བར་བསླེབས།

“Zebulun shall dwell at the shore of the sea; he shall become a haven for ships, and his border shall be at Sidon.

49:14  ཨི་ས་ཀར་ནི་བོང་བུ་སྟོབས་ཆེན་ཞིག་འདྲ་ཡིན།  རྟ་སྒྲོའི་བར་ལ་ཁོ་ནི་ངལ་གསོ་གྱིས།

“Issachar is a strong donkey, crouching between the sheepfolds.

49:15  ངལ་གསོ་བྱེད་ཡུལ་ལེགས་པ་ཁོས་མཐོང་སྟེ།  ཡུལ་ནི་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྐྱིད་པོ་ཁོས་ཤེས་སོ།  དེའི་རྐྱེན་གུག་སྟེ་རྡོག་འདྲེ་ཁོས་འཁུར་བས།  བྲན་གཡོག་ལྟ་བུར་ཁོ་ལ་ལས་བྱས་བཅུག།

He saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant, so he bowed his shoulder to bear, and became a servant at forced labor.

49:16  དཱན་ནི་རང་གི་མི་ཚོགས་དཔོན་པོར་འགྱུར།  ཁོང་ཚོ་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གཞན་གྱི་སྡེ་དང་འདྲ།

“Dan shall judge his people as one of the tribes of Israel.

49:17  དཱན་ནི་ལམ་གྱི་འགྲམ་ཡོད་པའི་སྦྲུལ་ཡིན་ཞིང་།  ལམ་གྱི་འགྲམ་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་དུག་སྦྲུལ་ལྟ་བུ་ཡིན།  རྟ་ཡི་རྟིང་པ་དེ་ཡིས་སོ་བཏབ་པས།  རྟ་ལ་བཞོན་མཁན་ལ་ནི་རྒྱབ་ཏུ་འཕང་པར་བྱ།

Dan shall be a serpent in the way, a viper by the path, that bites the horse’s heels so that his rider falls backward.

49:18  ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས་ལ་སྒུག་ཡོད་གཙོ་བོ་དཀོན་མཆོག།

I wait for your salvation, O Lord.

49:19  གྷཌ་ལ་ཇག་ཚོགས་ཤིག་གི་རུབ་པར་བྱ།  འོན་ཀྱང་ཁོ་ཡིས་རྒོལ་ནས་དེ་ཚོར་དེད།

“Raiders shall raid Gad, but he shall raid at their heels.

49:20  ཨ་ཤེར་ཡུལ་ནས་འབྲུ་ལེགས་ཤོས་སྐྱེས།  རྒྱལ་པོས་བཞེས་པའི་ཁ་ཟས་འོས་པ་དེ་ཡི་འབུལ་བར་འགྱུར།

“Asher’s food shall be rich, and he shall yield royal delicacies.

49:21  ནཕ་ཏ་ལི་ནི་སློད་བཀྲོལ་བྱེད་པའི་ཤ་མོ་ཡིན།  དེ་ཡིས་ཕྲུ་གུ་མཛེས་པོ་སྐྱེས་པར་འགྱུར།

“Naphtali is a doe let loose that bears beautiful fawns.

49:22  ཡོ་སེབ་ནི་འབྲས་བུ་སྟེར་བའི་སྡོང་པོ་ཡིན།   ཆུ་མིག་ཁར་གྱི་འགྲམ་དུ་ཡོད་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་སྟེར་བའི་སྡོང་པོ་ཡིན།  དེའི་ཡལ་ག་རྣམས་རྩིག་པའི་སྟེང་འཕེལ་བར་འགྱུར།

“Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; his branches run over the wall.

49:23  དགྲ་བོས་ཁོ་ལ་ངོ་རྒོལ་བྱེད་པས་ན།  མདའ་གཞུ་འཁུར་ཏེ་ཁོ་ལ་དེད་ན་ཡང་།

The archers bitterly attacked him, shot at him, and harassed him severely,

49:24  ཁོ་ཡི་མདའ་ནི་བརྟན་པོར་གནས་པ་དང་།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག།  ལུག་རྫི།  ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གི་བྲག་རིའི་ཁོ་ཡི་ལག་ནི་སྟོབས་ཆེན་མཛད་པར་འགྱུར།

yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd,[g] the Stone of Israel),

49:25  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་ཡི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་སྐྱབས།  ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་གནམ་གྱི་ཆར་དང་ས་འོག་ཆུ་རྣམས་དང་།  བུ་ཕྲུག་མང་པོ་གནང་ནས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་མཛད།

by the God of your father who will help you, by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that crouches beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb.

49:26  འབྲུ་དང་མེ་ཏོག་རྣམས་དང་།  སྔོན་མའི་དུས་ཀྱི་རི་བོ་རྣམས་དང་།  མཐའ་མེད་པའི་རི་བོར་ཡོད་པའི་དགའ་བར་སྦྱིན་པའི་དངོས་པོ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས།  བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག།  བྱིན་རླབས་འདི་རྣམས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་མགོའི་སྟེང་བབས་པར་ཤོག།  རང་གི་སྤུན་ནས་བྲལ་བ་གཙོ་བོའི་སྟེང་བབས་པར་ཤོག།

The blessings of your father are mighty beyond the blessings of my parents, up to the bounties of the everlasting hills. May they be on the head of Joseph, and on the brow of him who was set apart from his brothers.

49:27  བྷེན་ཡ་མིན་ནི་སྤྱང་ཀི་དྲག་པོ་ཡིན།  སྔ་དགོང་ཁོ་ཡིས་བསད་དེ་ཟ་བར་བྱ།

“Benjamin is a ravenous wolf, in the morning devouring the prey and at evening dividing the spoil.”

49:28  འདི་ཐམས་ཅད་ནི་ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་གྱི་སྡེ་རིགས་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཡིན།  དེ་ཚོའི་ཕས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བཞིན་སྨྲས་པའི་ཏམ་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན་ནོ།  ཁོང་གིས་བུ་རེ་རེའི་སྐོར་ལ་འོས་པའི་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ངོ་༎

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him.

49:29  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་རྣམས་ལ།  ད་ང་ཤི་ནས་ཕ་མེས་དང་མཉམ་དུ་འགྲོ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།  ཧི་ཏི་པ་ཨེཕ་རོན་གྱི་ཞིང་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་བྲག་ཕུག་ནང་ང་ལ་ངའི་ཕ་མེས་ཚོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་སྦས་ཤིག

Then he commanded them and said to them, “I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite,

49:30  བྲག་ཕུག་དེ་ནི་ཡུལ་ཀ་ནན་ནང་མམ་རེའི་ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་མག་ཕེ་ལ་བྱ་བའི་ཞིང་དུ་ཡོད།  དེ་ནི་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་གྱིས་ཨེཕ་རོན་ནས་དུར་ཁང་གི་ཕྱིར་ཉོས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ།

in the cave that is in the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place.

49:31  དེ་རུ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་དང་ཆུང་མ་ས་རཱ་དུར་དུ་སྦས་པ་དང་།  ཨི་སཱག་དང་ཆུང་མ་རེ་བྷེ་ཀ་ལའང་དེར་སྦས་སོ།  ལེ་ཨ་ཡང་ངས་དེ་རུ་སྦས་ཡོད་པ་ཡིན།

There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife. There they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife, and there I buried Leah—

49:32  ས་ཞིང་དང་བྲག་ཕུག་ནི་ཧི་ཏི་པ་རྣམས་ལས་ཉོས་པ་ཡིན།  ས་གནས་དེར་ང་ལའང་དུར་དུ་སྦས་ཤིག་ཅེས་གསུངས་སོ།

the field and the cave that is in it were bought from the Hittites.”

49:33  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་རྣམས་ལ་བཀའ་གནང་ཚར་ནས།  ཉལ་ཁྲི་ཁར་ཉལ་ནས་གྲོངས་སོ༎

When Jacob finished commanding his sons, he drew up his feet into the bed and breathed his last and was gathered to his people.

བཀོད་པ 48 – Genesis 48

48:1  དུས་ཚོད་འགའ་ཤས་ཀྱི་རྗེས་སུ་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་ཁོང་གི་ཕ་ན་བའི་གནས་ཚུལ་འབྱོར་རོ།  ཁོས་རང་གི་བུ་མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་དང་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་གཉིས་འཁྲིད་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ལ་འཕྲད་དུ་ཕྱིན་ནོ།

After this, Joseph was told, “Behold, your father is ill.” So he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

48:2  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བུ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཁྱེད་ལ་འཕྲདཕྱིར་སླེབས་འདུག་ཅེས་མི་ཞིག་གིས་ལབ་པ་དང་།  ཁོང་ཤུགས་བྱས་ནས་ཉལ་ཁྲིའི་ཁར་གཙོག་བུར་བསྡད་དོ།

And it was told to Jacob, “Your son Joseph has come to you.” Then Israel summoned his strength and sat up in bed.

48:3  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ།  ཀ་ནན་ཡུལ་དུ་ལུཛ་བྱ་བའི་ས་གནས་དེར་ངས་ཀུན་དབང་དཀོན་མཆོག་མཇལ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ངོ་།

And Jacob said to Joseph, “God Almighty appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

48:4  ཁོང་གིས་ང་ལ་གསུངས་པ།  ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་བུ་ཕྲུག་མང་པོ་སྤྲད་ནས་དེ་ཚོའི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་ནས་མི་རིགས་མང་པོ་བྱུང་བར་འགྱུར།  ངས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ལ་ཡུལ་འདི་རྟག་ཏུ་དབང་བའི་ཕྱིར་སྤྲད་པར་བྱའོ།

and said to me, ‘Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.’

48:5  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་མུ་མཐུད་ནས་སྨྲས་པ།  ང་འདིར་སླེབས་པའི་སྔོན་དུ་ཨི་ཇིབ་དུ་སྐྱེས་པས་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་འདི་གཉིས་ཡང་ངའི་ཡིན།  རུ་བྷེན་དང་སིམ་ཨོན་ལྟར་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་དང་མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་ཡང་ངའི་བུ་ཡིན་ནོ།

And now your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, are mine; Ephraim and Manasseh shall be mine, as Reuben and Simeon are.

48:6  གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱོད་ལ་བུ་གཞན་རྣམས་སྐྱེས་ན།  དེ་ཚོ་ངའི་བུ་ཡིན་པ་རྩིས་བར་མི་འགྱུར།  དེ་ཚོས་ཐོབ་པའི་ས་ཞིང་གི་ཐོབ་སྐལ་ནི་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་དང་མ་ན་སཱེའི་གྱི་ཡུལ་ཁོར་ནས་བྱུང་བར་འགྱུར།

And the children that you fathered after them shall be yours. They shall be called by the name of their brothers in their inheritance.

48:7  ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་མ་ར་ཧེལ་གྱི་རྐྱེན་གྱི་ངས་འདི་ཚོ་ཚང་མ་གཤོད་ཀྱི་ཡོད།  ང་ཡུལ་མེ་སོ་པོ་ཊ་མི་ཡ་ནས་ཕྱིར་ལོག་པའི་ཚེ།  ཨེཕ་རད་བྱ་བའི་སར་མ་སླེབས་པའི་སྔོན་དུ་ཀ་ནན་ཡུལ་གྱི་ལམ་དུ་ར་ཧེལ་གྲོངས་ནས།  ཨེཕ་རད་ཀྱི་འགྲོ་ལམ་གྱི་ཉེ་འགྲམ་གྱི་དུར་སར་སྦས་པ་ཡིན།  ཨེཕ་རད་ལ་དེང་སང་བྷེད་ལེ་ཧེམ་ཞེས་པའོ།

As for me, when I came from Paddan, to my sorrow Rachel died in the land of Canaan on the way, when there was still some distance to go to Ephrath, and I buried her there on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).”

48:8  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱི་བུ་དེ་ཚོ་མཐོང་བ་དང་།  བུ་འདི་ཚོ་སུ་ཡིན་ཞེས་དྲིས་པ་དང་།

When Israel saw Joseph’s sons, he said, “Who are these?”

48:9  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས།  ང་ཨི་ཇིབ་ནང་ཡོད་སྐབས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ང་ལ་གནང་བའི་བུ་རྣམས་ཡིན་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་དང་།  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས།  དེ་ཚོ་ངའི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་ཤོག་དང་ངས་ཁོང་ཚོར་བྱིན་རླབས་སྟེར་བར་བྱ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ།

Joseph said to his father, “They are my sons, whom God has given me here.” And he said, “Bring them to me, please, that I may bless them.”

48:10  ཡ་ཀོབ་རྒས་པོ་ཡིན་པས་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ཁོང་གི་མིག་གི་ཡང་ཡག་པོ་མཐོང་མི་ཐུབ་པས།  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་རྣམས་ཁོང་གི་རྩར་འཁྲིད་ཡོང་བ་དང་།  ཁོང་གིས་རེ་རེ་ལ་འཁྱུད་དེ་ཁ་སྐྱེལ་ལོ།

Now the eyes of Israel were dim with age, so that he could not see. So Joseph brought them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them.

48:11  ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ།  ང་ཁྱོད་དང་འཕྲད་ཡོང་བསམ་པའི་རེ་བ་མེད་པས།  འོན་ཀྱང་དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་ང་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་བུ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་མཐོང་འཇུག་གནང་བྱུང་།

And Israel said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face; and behold, God has let me see your offspring also.”

48:12  དེ་ནས་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་བུ་རྣམས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་པང་ནས་ལེན་ཏེ་ས་ལ་ཁ་འབུབ་ནས་ཁོང་ལ་གུས་ཞབས་བྱེད་དོ།

Then Joseph removed them from his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.

48:13  ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་རང་གི་བུ་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་ལ་ཕ་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱི་གཡོན་དང།  མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་ལ་གཡས་སུ་བཞག་གོ།

And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near him.

48:14  བུ་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་ནི་མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་ལས་གཞོན་ནའང་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ལག་པ་གཡས་པ་རྒྱ་གྲམ་ལྟར་བརྐྱངས་ཏེ་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་གྱི་མགོ་ལ་བཞག་པ་དང་།  ལག་པ་གཡོན་པ་བུ་རྒན་པ་མ་ན་སཱེའི་མགོ་ལ་བཞག་གོ།

And Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it on the head of Ephraim, who was the younger, and his left hand on the head of Manasseh, crossing his hands (for Manasseh was the firstborn).

48:15  དེ་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ།  འདི་ལྟར་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བ།  ངའི་པོ་པོ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་དང་ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གིས།  ཞབས་ཏོག་བྱེད་པའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས། བུ་འདི་ཚོར་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག།  དེ་རིང་གི་བར་དུ་ང་ལ་དབུ་འཁྲིད་གནང་བའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས།  ཁོང་ཚོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་བར་ཤོག།

And he blessed Joseph and said, “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,

48:16  ང་ལ་དཀའ་ངལ་རྣམས་ལས་སྐྱབས་མཁན་མཐོ་རིས་ཀྱི་ཕོ་ཉས།  ཁོང་ཚོར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རླབས་པར་མཛོད།  ངའི་མིང་དང་ངའི་པོ་པོ་ཨབ་ར་ཧམ་གྱི་མིང་དང་ངའི་ཕ་ཨི་སཱག་གི་མིང།  བུ་འདི་ཚོའི་རྒྱུད་ནས་དུས་རྟག་དུ་གནས་པར་ཤོག།  ཁོང་ཚོར་ཕྲུ་གུ་མང་པོ་བྱུང་བར་ཤོག།  དེ་ཚོའི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་མང་པོ་འཕེལ་བར་ཤོག།

the angel who has redeemed me from all evil, bless the boys; and in them let my name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

48:17  ཕ་ཡིས་ལག་པ་གཡས་པ་དེ་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་གྱི་མགོ་ལ་བཞག་པ་ཡོ་སེབ་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་ནས་མི་དགའ་བར།  ཕ་ཡི་ལག་པ་གཡས་པ་དེ་བཟུང་ནས་མ་ནསེ་སཱེའི་མགོའི་སྟེང་དུ་བཞག་གོ།

When Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him, and he took his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s head.

48:18  ཕ་ལ་འདི་འདྲ་མ་གནང་ཞིག  མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་སྔོན་སྐྱེ་ཡིན་པས་ཁོའི་མགོའི་སྟེང་ལ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ལག་པ་གཡས་པ་བཞོག་རོགས་གནང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

And Joseph said to his father, “Not this way, my father; since this one is the firstborn, put your right hand on his head.”

48:19  ཕ་ཡིས་མ་ཉན་པར་ཁོ་ལ།  ངས་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཡོད།  ངའི་བུ།  ངས་ཤེས་ཀྱི་ཡོད། མ་ནསེ་སཱེའི་མི་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་ཀྱང་མི་རིགས་ཆེན་པོ་ཞིག་ཏུ་འགྱུར་ཡོང་། འོན་ཀྱང་ཁོའི་སྤུན་ཆུང་བ་ནི་ཁོ་ལས་ཆེན་པོར་འགྱུར་རོ།  ཁོའི་རིགས་བརྒྱུད་རྣམས་མི་རིགས་རླབས་ཆེན་རྣམས་འགྱུར་ཡོང་ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also shall become a people, and he also shall be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his offspring shall become a multitude of nations.”

48:20  དེར་བརྟེན་ཉིན་དེར་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་དེ་ཚོ་ལ་བྱིན་རླབས་གནང་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། ཨིསི་རཱཨེལ་པ་ཚོས་བྱིན་གྱི་རླབས་པའི་སྐབས་སུ།  དཀོན་མཆོག་གིས་ཁྱོད་ཚོ་ལ་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་དང་མ་ནསེ་སཱེ་ལྟར་འབྱུང་བར་ཤོག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ཡོང་།  འདི་ལྟར་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཨེཕ་ར་ཡིམ་ལ་མ་ན་སཱེའི་མདུན་ དུ་བཞག་གོ།

So he blessed them that day, saying, “By you Israel will pronounce blessings, saying, ‘God make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh.’” Thus he put Ephraim before Manasseh.

48:21  དེ་ནས་ཡ་ཀོབ་ཀྱིས་ཡོ་སེབ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ།  ལྟོས་ཤིག།  ད་ང་ནི་ཤི་རན་པས། དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁྱོད་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བཞུགས་ནས་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཕ་མེས་ཀྱི་ཡུལ་དུ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་འཁྲིད་པར་འགྱུར།

Then Israel said to Joseph, “Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you again to the land of your fathers.

48:22  ཤེ་ཀེམ་ཡུལ་དེ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཨ་ཇོ་རྣམས་ལ་མ་སྤྲད་པར་ངས་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྤྲོད་བཞིན་ཡོད།  ས་ལུད་འཛོམས་པའི་ས་ཞིང་དེ་ངས་རང་གི་རལ་གྲི་དང་གཞུ་ཡི་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་ཨ་མོར་པའི་ལག་ནས་བླངས་པ་ཡིན་ནོ༎

Moreover, I have given to you rather than to your brothers one mountain slope that I took from the hand of the Amorites with my sword and with my bow.”
