161  སྟོབས་ཤུགས་ཅན་ཚོས་དོན་མེད་ང་ལ་འཐབ།  འོན་ཀྱང་ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་ལ་གུས་བཞིན་ཡོད།

162  རྒྱུ་ནོར་མང་པོ་ཐོབ་པའི་མི་ནི་དགའ་བ་ལྟར།  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ཞལ་ཆད་རྐྱེན་གྱིས་ང་ནི་ཇི་ལྟར་དགའ་བཞིན་ཡོད།

163  ང་ནི་རྫུན་གཏམ་ལ་ནི་སྡང་ཞིང་ཞེན་ལོག་བྱས།  འོན་ཀྱང་ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ལ་གཅེས་ཀྱི་ཡོད།

164  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་དྲང་བདེན་གྱི་ཁྲིམས་ཀྱི་དཔྱད་མཚམས་ཀྱི་ཕྱིར་དུ།  ཉིན་མ་གཅིག་ལ་ལན་བདུན་ཁྱེད་ལ་གཏང་རག་འབུལ།

165  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་གཅེས་པར་བྱེད་མིར་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་ཐོབ།  དོན་གད་ཞིག་གིས་དེ་ཚོ་འགྱེལ་མི་འགྱུར།

166  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ང་ལ་སྐྱབས་ཕྱིར་ང་ནི་སྒུག་བསྡད་ཡོད།  ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ལྟར་སྒྲུབ་པ་བྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཡོད།

167  ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་སློབ་སྟོན་རྣམས་ལ་ང་ཡིས་སྲུང་བར་གྱིས།  ང་ཡི་སེམས་ཀྱི་ནང་ནས་དེ་རྣམས་གཅེས་འཛིན་གྱིས།

168  ང་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་སློབ་རྣམས་ལ་སྲུང་གི་ཡོད།  ང་ཡི་གྱིས་པའི་ལས་རྣམས་ཚང་མ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་གཟིགས༎

 

 

161 Princes persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.

162 I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.

163 I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your law.

164 Seven times a day I praise you for your righteous rules.

165 Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.

166 I hope for your salvation, O Lord, and I do your commandments.

167 My soul keeps your testimonies; I love them exceedingly.

168 I keep your precepts and testimonies, for all my ways are before you.

གང་ལགས་ཟེར་ན། ང་ལ་གཙོ་བོ་ནས་གང་ཐོབ་ཅིང་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ལ་གཏད་པ་དེ་འདི་ལྟར་ཡིན། རྒྱབ་གཏོད་མྱོང་བའི་མཚན་མོར་གཙོ་བོ་ཡེ་ཤུས་བག་ལེབ་ཕྱག་ཏུ་བསྣམས་ཤིང༌། དཀོན་མཆོག་ལ་བཀའ་དྲིན་ཆེ་ཞུས་ཏེ་དུམ་བུར་བགོས་ནས་ “འདི་ནི་ངའི་ལུས་ཡིན་ཏེ་ཁྱེད་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དོན་དུ་སྦྱིན་པ་ཡིན། ང་དྲན་པའི་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལྟར་བྱོས་ཤིག་” ཅེས་གསུངས། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཞལ་ཟས་བཞེས་པའི་རྗེས་སུ་ཁོང་གིས་ཕོར་པ་ཕྱག་ཏུ་བསྣམས་ཏེ་ “ཕོར་པ་འདི་ནི་ངའི་ཁྲག་གིས་བཀོད་པའི་ཞལ་ཆད་གསར་པ་ཡིན། དེ་ག་དུས་འཐུང་ནའང་ང་དྲན་པའི་ཕྱིར་འདི་ལྟར་བྱོས་ཤིག་” ཅེས་གསུངས། གང་ཡིན་ཞེ་ན། ཁྱེད་ཚོས་ག་དུས་བག་ལེབ་དེ་ཟ་ཞིང་ཕོར་པ་དེ་ལས་འཐུང་སྐབས་ཁོང་སླར་མ་ཕེབས་པའི་བར་དུ་གཙོ་བོ་གྲོངས་པ་སྒྲོག་གོ །

1 Corinthians 11:23-26

For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Today’s scripture reading, prayer and reflection

. This scripture from Isaiah clearly define the ministry of John the Baptist

. John was sent by God to prepare the people to receive the Messiah

. The ministry of John was to magnify the word of God above human expectations

. All human works and words will eventually perish but the word of God stands forever

. This is a call for us to live by the word of God

. His kingdom come His will be done

ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ 40:6-8

སྒྲ་ཞིག་གིས་འདི་ལྟར་འབོད་བཞིན་འདུག། གསུང་འཕྲིན་ཞིག་ཁྱབ་སྒྲགས་བྱོས།  ང་ཡིས་གསུང་འཕྲིན་ཇི་ཞིག་གསལ་སྒྲགས་བྱ་ཞེས་འདྲིས།

མི་རྣམས་རྩ་ལྟར་ཡིན་པ་ཁྱབ་སྒྲག་བྱོས། དེ་ཚོ་ནགས་ཀྱི་མེ་ཏོག་ལས་ཀྱང་ལྷག་པ་མི་གནས་སོ།

དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གིས་དེའི་སྟེང་རླུང་གཏོང་སྐབས། རྩ་ནི་སྐམ་ཞིང་མེ་ཏོག་རྙིད་པར་འགྱུར་།  མི་མང་རྩ་ལས་ལྷག་པ་གནས་མི་ཐུབ།

རྩ་ནི་ངེས་པར་སྐམ་ཞིང་མེ་ཏོག་རྙིད། འོན་ཀྱང་ང་ཚོའི་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཁོང་གི་བཀའ།

གཏན་གྱི་ཆེད་དུ་གནས་པར་འགྱུར།

Isaiah 40:6-8

 

A voice says, “Cry!” And I said, “What shall I cry?”

All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the Lord blows on it; surely the people are grass.

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

འཆི་བ་ནས་སྐུ་གསོན་པོ་བཞེངས་པའི་ཡེ་ཤུ་གིས་ལེའོ་ཌི་སི་ཡཱ་ནང་ཡོད་པའི་ཁོང་ལ་དད་པ་བྱེད་མཁན་ཚོ་ལ་གང་གསུངས་པ།

14 (John was instructed to write to the angel of the church in Laodicea). ‘These are the words of him who is called the ‘Amen.’ He is a reliable and honest witness [concerning the truth about God] and God created everything through him.

15 I know everything that you are doing. [Not only is your faith in me half-hearted, you fail to respond to what I say]. You are like water that is neither hot nor cold (but lukewarm). It would be better if you were either hot or cold. [In other words, it would be better to have a faith that is whole-hearted, or to have no faith at all].

16 ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་(ང་ལ་) སྙིང་ཐག་པ་ནས་དད་པ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་མེད་ཙང་། ང་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་མཉམ་དུ་འབྲེལ་བ་གཅད་དགོས་པ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་རེད།

16 Because your faith (in me) is not whole-hearted, I will have to sever my relationship with you.

17 ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་ང་ཕྱུག་པོ་ཡིན། ངས་རྒྱུ་ནོར་མང་པོ་བསགས་ཡོད་པ་དང་། ང་ལ་གང་ཡང་དགོས་ཡག་མི་འདུག་ཟེར་གྱི་ཡོད་རེད། ཡིན་ན་ཡང་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་(དངོས་གནས་) ཐབས་སྐྱོ་པོ་དང༌། ཉམ་ཐག་པོ། ལོང་བ་དང་། གཅེར་བུ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོས་ཧ་གོ་གི་ཡོད་མ་རེད།

17 You say, “I am rich. I have acquired much wealth and do not need anything.” But you do not realize how wretched and miserable; and poor, blind, and naked you (really) are.

18 དེ་འདྲ་སོང་ཙང་ངས་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལ་ངའི་སར་ནས་མེ་ནང་དྭངས་སྙིང་ཕྱེས་པའི་གསེར་ཉོ་དགོས་པའི་བསླབ་བྱ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད། དེ་འདྲ་བྱས་པ་ཡིན་ན་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་[དངོས་གནས་] ཕྱུག་པོ་ཆགས་ཀྱི་རེད། དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་གཅེར་བུ་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ལ་ངོ་ཚ་མ་ཡོང་བའི་ཆེད་དུ་ངའི་སར་ནས་དུག་ལོག་དཀར་པོ་ཉོ་རོགས། དེ་ག་ནང་བཞིན་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་མིག་མཐོང་ཐུབ་པའི་ཆེད་དུ་མིག་ལ་འབྱུག་རྒྱུའི་བྱུག་སྨན་ཉོ་རོགས།

18 Therefore I advise you to buy gold from me – gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will [be truly] rich. Also buy white clothes from me so that you will not be shamed by your nakedness. And buy ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.

19 ངས་བྱམས་སྙིང་རྗེ་ཡོད་པའི་མི་ཚང་མ་ལ་སྐྱོན་སེལ་བྱེད་པ་དང་སྒྲིག་ཁྲིམས་སློབ་ཀྱི་ཡོད། བྱས་ཙང་ཁྱེད་རང་ཚོ་ལྷག་བསམ་ཟོལ་མེད་དགོས་པ་དང་། འགྱོད་པ་བྱིས།

19 I correct and discipline all those whom I love. So be whole-hearted and repent.

20 ཉོན་དང༌། ང་སྒོའི་འགྲམ་ལ་ལང་ནས་སྒོ་རྡུང་གི་ཡོད། གལ་སྲིད་ཁྱེད་རང་ངའི་སྐད་གོ་ནས་སྒོ་ཕྱེ་པ་ཡིན་ན། ང་སྦུག་ལ་ཡོང་ནས་ང་ཚོ་གྲོགས་པོ་ནང་བཞིན་ཁ་ལག་མཉམ་དུ་བཟའ་གི་ཡིན། 

20 Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and then we will eat a meal together as friends.

21 ང་ལ་རྒྱལ་ཁ་ཐོབ་ནས་ང་རང་གི་ཡབ་ཀྱི་བཞུགས་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་ཁོང་མཉམ་དུ་བསྡད་པ་ནང་བཞིན། རྒྱལ་ཁ་ཐོབ་པའི་མི་དེ་ལ་ངས་ང་རང་མཉམ་དུ་ངའི་ཁྲི་ཐོག་ལ་སྡོད་རྒྱུའི་དམིགས་བསལ་གྱི་ཐོབ་ཐང་སྤྲད་ཀྱི་ཡིན།

21 Just as I was victorious and sat on my Heavenly Father’s throne with him, I too will grant the person who is victorious the privilege to sit with me on my throne.

22 ཐོས་མཁན་ཚོ་(དང་གོ་རྟོགས་འཚོལ་མཁན་) ཚོ་ཚང་མས་[དམ་པའི་] ཐུགས་ཉིད་ལ་ཉན་ནས་ཁོང་གིས་ཆོས་ཚོགས་ཚོ་ལ་ག་རེ་གསུང་གི་ཡོད་པའི་དོན་དག་རྟོགས་པ་བྱེད་དགོས། 

22 All those who hear (and seek to understand), should listen to the [Holy] Spirit and grasp the meaning of what He is saying to the Churches.’
