མད་ཐཱ། 3:1-3

1 དེའི་དུས་སུ་ཁྲུས་གསོལ་མཁན་ཡོ་ཧ་ནན་ཡ་ཧུ་དཱ་ཡུལ་གྱི་དབེན་སྟོང་ལ་ཕེབས་ཏེ་

2 “དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ཉེ་བར་འོངས་པས་སྤྱོད་པ་ངན་པ་རྣམས་སྤངས་ནས་སེམས་སྒྱུར་ཞིག་” ཅེས་བསྒྲགས།

3 ལུང་སྟོན་པ་ཡེ་ཤ་ཡཱ་ཡིས།

དབེན་སྟོང་ཡུལ་ནང་གྲགས་པའི་འབོད་སྒྲ་ཡིས།།

གཙོ་བོའི་ཆེད་དུ་ཕེབས་ལམ་གྲ་སྒྲིག་བྱོས།།

ལམ་བུ་དེ་ནི་བདེ་བར་བཟོས་ཤིག་ཨང༌།།

ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་འདི་ནི་ཁྲུས་གསོལ་མཁན་ཡོ་ཧ་ནན་གྱི་སྐོར་ཡིན།

Matthew 3:1-3

1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’”

Study notes –

The ministry of John the Baptist is important to help us understand the prophetic fulfillment of Jesus the Messiah
Since the days of old the nation of Israel have being looking forward to the God chosen Messiah but there had been misleading characters and counterfeits
John the Baptist was preparing the people in accordance to the Law of Moses and prophesies of old to receive the real Messiah chosen of God
The birth and ministry of John the Baptist was of divine order in fulfillment of scriptures and prophesies as with Jesus the Messiah
